I have a problem because everytime when my phone is on charge (doesnt matter if its USB cable or wall socket) and Im rebooting it (power -> switch off - > and power it again) the system will not boot up. It will just stay on black screen with battery logo. I never checked if its a problem with stock ICS or Revolution MOD. Anyone else have such a problem?

I have the same problem, it's annoying to have to remove the battery just to turn it back on.
I think most phones do that, on my Optimus 2x i can boot it by using the power button again.
Power button is not working. Can someone confirm if its a stock ICS issue or because our phones are rooted

Dude Android has nothing to say about a pre-boot enviroment like the charger.
Have it here as well. Have pulled the battery both times I have done it so far.

Same problem here. I have tried both Android Revolution and a stock F build.
It sounds like it might be something to do with the bootloader unlock process?
EDIT: Flashed Paul's ir3 release and ClockworkMod again and it's charging fine now. Very strange.

I can atleast say that the phone i just got, holding down the power button for 5 seconds or so makes it boot into Android
Same issue stock 4.0.3 ...
Hi guys need a bit of help, i hope this is in the correct forum section, so my brother handed me his phone after a month, phone shut off and won't turn on (no details on what happened). Vibrates when I hold down power buttons, when attempting to boot into recovery, download mode, and when the phone charger is plugged in. It does not show any light indicator when charging. I assume this is a hard brick, is this correct? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
Plugged it into computer and see if it recognizes it as phone or adb device. If it says QHSUSB Device its toast.

If it vibrates, should be able to restore it. Might be bad battery.

Was the phone rooted? If so what rom?
Hi guys, need some help, rooted and installed slimbean just 2 days ago and everything was going great.
Pulled my phone out of my pocket today and the screen wont come on. Captive buttons come on and off with each press of the power button.
Holding down the power button reboots phone (captive butons flash and phone vibrates) but still same problem and tried getting into bootloader but not 100% sure that its going into it as same symptoms as before.
Tried hooking up to a few computers at work and it just says USB drivers failed to install as problem with USB device.
LED still lights up for charging.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help.
How long was it in your pocket for? Is it possible the battery has run out? If so then there is always the possibility the juice running out coincided with an error. It might mean you need to try the batch files to charge your phone?

Last time i looked at the phone about 15min earlier i had about 25%
Has been on charge for about 30 min and now i only get the LED, captive don't light up, doesn't seem to reset when holding the power button.
I tried to get into Facebook this morning and the app opened then went black. So I then shut down the app and tried to open it again and the screen opened to a black screen. I then hit the back button and the home button, both were slow to respond and then the screen went black and stayed black. I tired the power button and the volume button but got no response. So i then pulled the battery and tried to reboot it. NOTHING!
I've tried charging it and restarting - Nothing
Took out the battery and plugged it in and restarted - Nothing
Connected it to my Laptop and my laptop does not recognize it...
Am I screwed? Is it bricked? Any help would be greatly appreciated... If it is bricked, is there a way to get the photos off the phone?
Info:
Sprint phone
NOT rooted...
Bump
I think we have the same problem. Start searching for hard brick. I'm following the thread linked below, buy I'm still having problems. Maybe you'll have better luck.

My Kindle Fire is bricked. The problem is that the Kindle Fire cannot even TURN ON, so do not mention get connected to computer and let Kindle Fire Utility find it.
I read lots of solutions and finally I bought a factory fastboot cable, it suppose to boot the device into Fastboot, but still nothing happened to the device. The screen is still off.
So, is there any way to save this bricked Kindle Fire? Thanks soooooo much!
Are you sure its not deep sleep of death? Did you try holding the power button for at least 25 seconds and then letting go and pressing the power button again once to see if it turns on?

Yes, I have done this again after seeing your answer, but it still does not work.
Does anything happen after holding the power button down for thirty seconds, then plugging in the charger?

Where you able to figure this out? I'm in the same situation. I accidentally yanked the cable out while it was installing recovery and it just went black. I was able to turn it off....big mistake.... but can't turn it back on. I've tried using the firekit too...

I believe you have a different problem then ViolaDante, but we'll find out.
Did you try the aforementioned attempts to recover the kindle?
(Hold down power button for >20 seconds?)
And @ViolaDante, it sounds like a battery problem.
Sometimes there are occasions where the battery drains below the required amount to make it turn on; as it is a stupid setup, there is actually a need for a small amount of battery left to turn on, even if you are wanting to charge it. I would do a search on this if I were you. I will try to find a useful post for you, but no guarantees.

I have. I've tried all kinds of lengths of time and kept it plugged in overnight... nothing. What do you think could be wrong?

I don't know...
Does anything happen when you plug it into the computer?
----EDIT----
Try what this person does to get their kindle to turn on, and see if yours turns on:
