DroidMote Client and DroidMote Server should do the trick. I have 2 Android TV sticks myself, but I use a 2.4GHz air mouse.

I want to control my samsung galaxy nexus via my pc but I dont need display I just need to use the keyboard and mouse.
Let me tell you why....
I currently have a spare monitor and I have connected my Samsung galaxy Nexus to it via an MHL adaptor but I would like to use my pc mouse and keyboard to do stuff on it and then just change back to pc when I want.
Anyone know any tools to do this?
Thanks
Bluetooth keyboard and mouse is the best option.
Try free AirDroid which lets you use many features of your phone including texting and managing apps via your browser on a PC as long as you're on the same network.

I had been using Droid VNC Server in the past, however it doesn't seem to support ICS. knoxbrder seems to be very close to having a working version for the Galaxy Nexus, you can take a look at this thread for some details.
Once this is running, you can run vncviewer on a Linux system, or download RealVNC for Windows and access your phone when it's on your WiFi network.

LMAO Are you going to hook your microwave up to a monitor as well? How about your toilet? Maybe you can get to the point where everything you own from phone, to coffee maker, to wrist watch has its own monitor. Clearly you need to get out more brah
I've found the remotely controllable phone-to-TV connection very useful. My old TV didn't have Pandora support so I used to hook up my X to it so I could listen via my sound system speakers. I now have a Google TV with a Pandora client, but with a dumb monitor you can also throw in Netflix and Amazon video to turn it into a smart TV. Or just turn the phone into a mini-desktop, it's already just a pocket computer.
i have been pretty disapointed with android options in this department.
i had veency running like a charm on my iphone, but nothing for android. and most of the vnc/rdp programes in market are not what they claim to be.
go get it if you have a tablet.
Splashtop 2 HD
Old interface was better and simpler. A.I.type keyboard sometimes doesnt work with it or has a huge keypress delay. Hp Touchpad with cyanogenmod 9 doesnt have a proper resolution that fills the whole screen Wont. Allow you to connect to a desktop that has a wired connection on you're wireless router without paying for splashtop anywhere.

Can't seem to get VNC working with Fire TV.
Tried following this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2793823
Using both droid VNC server and VMLite VNC Server. Using various clients when I connect, I just get a black screen.
We have users successfully using our vmlite vnc server on FireTV.
Did you start the vnc server using our desktop vaac program using a PC?

My FireTV is rooted so I did not start the server using your desktop vaac program. The server is running and I connect to it. The problem is that I do not see anything when I connect. Just a black screen.
I have the same issue with all the VNC apps I have tried which includes vmlite vnc and droid vnc. I am rooted and they all show a black screen, even if they may control the mouse and keyboard ok.
I have found a solution if you do not mind controlling your FireTV from a web browser instead of an actual VNC app. The app I have found that does certainly work for all remote control use with the exception of transmitting video prime (which I would have expected to be choppy and unusable anyways) is called WebKey.

Interesting, black screen? What android version are you running on the device?

glitchbit thanks for the tip. I used Webkey and it works fine. It took awhile to figure how to register as a new account because the browser option was not working but I created a new account from inside the app once I started the server.
I also started using teamviewer with the android quicksupport app but to connect to the fire tv screen you need to press two prompts on the firetv which I can do now remotely with the webkey interface.
To navigate remotely you are best off using an app like lanmote deluxe ($3.99) as it will let you use your phone as the controller via a very responsive web interface and it will let you use your keyboard. There is Air Keyboard as well if you prefer an actual app, but it does not have a dpad and standard media controls like lanmote does. I will check out teamviewer though, it may work better than webkey in some circumstances.
I only mention solutions that work for both iOS and Android as I use an iPhone and while I know there may be better mouse/keyboard remote control apps for Android phones they are useless to me.

The Fire TV can't be connected to a PC by USB.. It acts as a host, not an external device. How do I start the vnc server on an unrooted device? Can I do this over the network via ADB?
Thanks!
I hate to create a new thread with similar questions as others but none of the other threads seem to specifically address my question.
Is there a way to use the android phone to emulate a bluetooth keyboard/mouse functionality that simply pairs with other devices. I know there are many client/server applications but with regards to Fire TV Stick I just want to use the setting.apk and pair my phone to it. I have searched high and low but can't seem to find anything which makes me believe there is something inherent to that feature I don't understand which makes it not possible.
I have several apps sideloaded to Fire stick (Xfinity TV) requiring mouse and keyboard functionality. I can't find an efficient way to do this with my phone instead of buying more hardware (bluetooth keyboard/mouse).
Thanks!

Maybe something like this will help....
http://www.aftvnews.com/remote-mouse-app-released-for-fire-tv-fire-tv-stick/
Its like 2 bucks. It has both KB and mouse functionality. Not sure how good it is, I have no experience with it.
If you just need keyboard functionality, you can get by with Amazon's official app which is free...

EDIT: I re-read and understand you want native BT functionality to pair your android device. I have not come across anything like that. But, you can use the app which will let you ditch your hardware keyboard, but comes with extra steps of firing up the app and having your device and FTV on the same wireless network.
I just tried out the Free Wukong TV remote app from Google Play Store. It works to control the FTV Stick and has a mouse mode that lets you use the screen as a left click. I tried it in Xfinity To Go app and Old Slingplayer tablet app that needed a mouse to select options. It works but you need to switch between mouse mode and d pad mode. It's pretty easy to switch from the app.
The Wukong app once you install on your phone and then make sure you are on the same wifi network as the Stick and enter IP of Stick or press Scan network. It will install a Wukong Remote server app on the stick. Once that is installed restart your stick and try to connect. The on the upper right is a button to switch between remote styles ie keyboard, dpad, touchpad, mouse mode.
There is a Wukong keyboard app that you can install from the phone also which lets you input text in Stick using your phone virtual keyboard. I tried it and it works and is better than using the Stick remote. However I get scared of using that app to put usernames and passwords because this app is from China and who knows if they are keeping that information.
I ended up taking the Wukong of my daily use phone and put it on a a cheapie $10 Android phone. Works great and I feels safer that this app can't be logging my information.
You could try 'True Mouse/KB' in play store, it adds Bluetooth HID device profile to your phone.

So I found a way on how to connect the darn thing to my Lumia, but it's still unusable. The phone does connect to the controller and says it's connected but the controller itself is having some difficulties in connecting... Not sure if this is a problem with cloned DS3 controllers (yes, I do have a clone, no money to buy a legit DS3 controller right now and I'm using that DS3 controller on my Nexus 7 with SIXAXIS Controller app, works great even for a clone)... Can anyone here try this with a legit controller?
Here's a video:
Sorry for my voice thou....
So how did I managed to get it paired? Simple... Changed my Bluetooth dongle's device class to 0x5 (applied 0x58030) and MAC address to the DS3 controller. You need Linux to change the MAC and Class as Windows doesn't allow that (used Kali Linux)
Some stuffs I read to make this possible: http://blog.petrilopia.net/linux/change-your-bluetooth-device-mac-address/ and http://www.slideshare.net/null0x00/hijacking-bluetooth-headsets
After BT's device class and MAC Address, paired the dongle to Lumia... The Lumia itself sees it as 0x5 and MAC Address to my DS3's MAC. After pairing, turned OFF Bluetooth on my Lumia, connected my DS3 to my Nexus 7 via USB for pairing with SIXAXIS Controller app , Paired to my Lumia's BT MAC Address, after doing that, turned on my Lumia's BT first, then turned on the controller, and voila.
Yes I know it's kinda complicated process because on how a DS3 controller works (it's not visible, you literally need something to pair it to your device or to your other devices) but hey at least we know that it's possible to connect a DS3 (or even a DS4 controller) to Windows 10 Mobile (and also Windows Phone 8, WP8 already had MOGA controller support).
Created this thread here so we can attract some clever devs for the possibility to make the DS3/DS4 controller (or even better, any Bluetooth controllers) to work with Windows Mobile. Android, iOS, and even WinMo 6 (yes, Microsoft's mobile OS before Windows Phone 7 lives, see CobaltController by @Cobaltikus ) already had DS3 support, so why not add WP/Win10 Mobile to the list? We already got Interop Unlock and access to device drivers so this stuff can be possible on WP/Win10Mo too...
Anyone agree with me?

You can install any of Android Sixaxis controller apps via Project Astoria (I have DualShock too, but have not yet tried to install any of the Android controller applications)

That will simply not gonna work as Astoria doesn't allow Bluetooth (see build.prop on Astoria, it had a line of Bluetooth disabled). Also, root doesn't work for now... And also, minimizing an app on Astoria pauses it... We need a native Windows app to do so...
