Hi I have updated my ace 2 to mcx8 official using odin.. I first used leaked version with pit file. I want to install Italian job v1. My problem is im using temp version of cwm.. but it wont mount sd card... something like E:cant mount sd... help.. how do I fix this?.. also wont backup either...as cant mount location... any help cheers
This thread is not needed ,ask in Q&A thread in General section or Italian Job thread
I think you didn't need the pit repart, because yesterday I flashed MC8 with only the PDA file over GB LL2 and everything went fine.

I have looked up many repeals online to root my ballast s 2 but all of them are made for 2.3.5 but since i'm at 2.3.6 the su file on sd card fails and aborts to install with cwm. I synced cwm through Odin and it seems to work but problem for me is to do what I want to do.
1) create nandroid backup of stock
2) try out new ROM s
Help me to achieve these somewhat easy goals please

wait, got a little confused from your post... so did you flash CWM or not? you want to do backups through recovery and not from rom manager..
actually just install ROMS through Recovery too.
RECOVERY is CWM
BTW it has been reported that when the flashing of SU fails... it actually didn't fail.. and that it actually successfully flashed.. just check the app drawer to make sure
there are a few threads on this on the General section here is one follow the step by step.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1332103
Don't worry about the SU failing.. keep trying, it'll fail about 2 times then it'll go through.

I had same issue but like 4 other threads concerning the same have said that even thou it fails reboot and go see if super user was installed in app drawer...there's even a you tube video showing that it says failed
Yet really worked..

Is there a way to push or flash SU through Odin?
I for got to load the file on my phone prior to flashing cwm .. And
Its stuck on Samsung logo...
Remove the sd card and load the su zip on it through the memory card reader on your pc then reboot the phone into recovery and install the zip or follow the instructions here- http://galaxys2root.com/galaxy-s2-ro...y-s2-sgh-t989/
Hi I recently just installed clockworkmod by chainfire and now i'm trying to flash a rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1844343 ) but when ever i go to install a zip from sd card i can't find the the rom zip file... any help?
sorry wrong forum just saw this is s3 after i posted it... DELETE PLEASE
Don't you dare flash that rom on your S3. If the rom doesn't come from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1706, don't flash it.
Now, as to why you can't see the zip - you are looking in the wrong location. Where is the file on the SD and where did you tell CWM to look?
Woah, no kidding. Brick city!
Id say you just got real lucky dude!
You may need to do a little reading the stickies before trying to go much further. And ask if your not sure of something.

I Flashed My Samsung galaxy y With Odin :/
It Just ****ed Up My Phone ;/ Phone Is Working But Neither It Created A /data folder So I Can Upgrade To JellyBlast Nor I can Update The Phone Via KIES Or Device Itself .
Please Help :////
I Want To Get Rid Of THis Market Logo :/ Please Save Me
Hmm maybe you can try to reflash the stock ROM and then flash JBv3 via stock recovery. Many times CWM will give you a problem if your data isn't mounting. Just flash via stock recovery and you'll be fine.
Bro , I M New To Droid ... Are You Sure It Will Work? I have to go to recovery mode ... Select wipe data ? And then stock?

I think he meant to try reflashing a stock rom in odin again, then try flashing JellyBlast again. Reflashing a stock rom always works, at least for me, despite it being a tedious process.

Hi Team,
Yesterday I thought to root my Galaxy Note 2(N7105). I tried MIUI beta version which is not yet release for Note 2.
I was not booting up then I tried CM10 Kernal to make it run, which was fine. After booting I found my network services are not working.
Then I tried to put the stocked ROM(N7105XXALJ5_N7105OLBALJ1_N7105DXALJ1_HOME.tar.md5) back after downloading from Sammobile Firmwares.
Now the situation is, NONE of the ROMS are booting up not even stocked.
I am unable to mount internal storage(Sdcard).
I am Unable to format it.
The phone boots but everytime it hungs at boot logo.
I guess that is reason I am not able restore any of the ROM's
Can someone please help me to fix this, in the forum or private. You will rewarded for this help.

I've run into quite the problem with my AT&T Galaxy S3. It seems my file system has structure has changed and my internal sd card has been wiped. If I try to install a new ROM via CWM, I get the file choices, 0, legacy & obb...none of which have my rom in it.
I have tried to flash a new ROM via ODIN but it always gets stuck at the aboot.xxx portion of the flashing process (attempting to flash the stock room...just using pda in ODIN). I searched other forums and they suggested finding a firmware with PIT file so that I can repartition the S3.
All the firmwares I have downloaded contain a single file that goes in the PDA part of ODIN. Does anyone have any links to firmware zips that contain the PIT file? My phone doesn't boot past the Samsung bootscreen.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Sir, I understand your need but this type of thread is not for the Development Section...moved to the Q&A.
Thank You.

How exactly did you fix it? I am having a strange issue, where the phone will not boot and in recovery everything fails to mount ex: "e: cannot mount \cache" and so on. I've flashed a few different stock restores with no avail, and I think that the partitions are jacked.
Corrupt SD
