Hey Guys....I have been using xperia s from 4 months long...i got a problem that anyone can turn off my phone or change my profile or get it into flight mode even if the phone is locked with a passwor pin or pattern.....Any solution for this problem got this feature on my iphone but its irritating on android....please help guys...thanks...

yes in every Android phone like this,can turn off/silent mode/airplane mode etc...

When i turn off the flight mode the One X asks for my Sim PIN.
My Samsung Galaxy S never did this, at least i can't remember. Ok, I can barely remember the Stock Rom
Is there an option to change that behaviour?

I am too coming from the Galaxy S. I used "Ring Scheduler" to switch to airplane mode during nights and to automatically switch it off in the morning.
The Galaxy S never asked for PIN but the HTC One X does, so automatcally switching airplone mode off does not work for me anymore since user action is required.
So far i have not found an option to change this behaviour.
I realy hope someone can help.

this has always been the case with htc. i also have a galaxy tab and it never asks when switching to flight mode.
i use an excellent app called auto flight mode as i work on the tube and i now have to disable to pin on my phones when i get htc as the phone is always switching on flightmode being underground.
it would be really nice to get this finally addressed though.
Same thing with Motorola smartphones, such as Milestone 1 or 2.
No big deal to me, I'm used to it.

Nop, has been like this for a long time (at least at HTC). Simply because HTC stops connecting to your sim-card while on flightmode. Once you want to connect again you have to use your pincode.
Hi. I actually have a different problem. My phone does not ask for PIN, thus does not re-connect after comming out of flight mode. So I must reboot and sometimes more times, since the settings are showing flight mode OFF, but the power off menu shows it on and other entertaining effects.
Any ideas? I am on the last OTA 1.29 something.

Disable Sim PIN lock? It would never ask again for it.

I have Sony Xperia S and use CM10 FXP209 now.
I have two problems that is not so serious but it will better if solved.
1. Every time I reboot my phone or set the phone in airplane mode and then back to normal mode, my WiFi region code cleared and I must set it again. anyone else has this problem and how to solve this problem?
2. Sometimes when someone ring on my phone, the phone screen not turned on and I must use power button then unlock the pattern and then answer screen will appeared.

I have a big issue with my note 3 neo. The phone randomly turns off on its own after it drops below 40 % battery. The issue seems to have started after i updated the to 4.3 jelly. When it turns off the buttons will NOT respond, the only way to "fix" it is to remove the battery and after that it starts up fine, but this happened 6-7 times in the past month. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this ( SW, HW )?

Updated TO Jelly Bean? Was it on ICS when you bought it?
Uhmm factory reset? If it still has the problem, flash the stock jb.

Did you disable Samsung DVFS? If yes you want to try enabling it back. That resolved my phone turning off by itself when charging on AC charger.
Edit: I spoke too soon. My phones's auto shutdown when plugged to AC charger problem still there. Need to do a hard reset to see.

Thats funny I have a brand new SAMSUNG NOTE 3neo that has the exact same problem but i did NOT update my samsung to 4.3 jelly and it turns off no matter how much battery it has,even if it has 100% battery does anyone know whats wrong.

Just backup ur data & perform a factory reset, should solve ur problem. What's ur build number?

I'm having the same problem, the phone is completely stock, haven't dropped the phone or anything, bought the phone like 3 weeks ago. I also see a green led, not sure if it's a notification. When I saw that I thought maybe it's some power save function. But I simply just can't turn the phone on, the battery needs to be removed to start up. So I just mailed Samsung, waiting for their reply

the problem is that it stays on the screen with the logo and can't access to menu. View image.
Press and hold the up volume, Home button and power button togeather until the phone gets restarted. This will take you to recovery mode.
In recovery mode use volume keys for up and down navigation and power key to select. Still if you have any doubts Search for recovery mode in youtube

Now that it is mentioned here, when I turn the airplane mode on in quick tiles, I am not able to turn it off the same way, I need to go to settings, connection, to do it, as I rarely need that mode, it doesn't bother me, but it is odd nevertheless

Where do you bought the phone maybe the phone was opened and repaired before. If so certanly if its charging port board changed from different wariant (region) of Note 10 + and that is 100 % cause of the problem. The image here is for the correct model of charging board.

till recently i found out that the device wont go to sleep mode automatically anymore i have to put it manually buy pressing the power button .
is there any way ti find out what cause the problem if it's an app or a bug avoiding factory reset ?!

You mean display sleep? There is a option in developer settings to keep display on while charging.

but the screen never goes to sleep when idle with or without charger
