Maybe use the correct image. That says n7100 unless that's what you have. If that's the case post in the right forum

Should just use the toolkit in the original development, it literally babysit you step by step, almost fool proof

This is true, but I personally hate toolkits.i think people should understand what they are doing to their phone instead of just selecting option 1.

it's good for starters, you still have to select the correct files provided by that specific toolkit, but yes, at lease get the right file for the phone

And don't use the pit for a kernel you really don't need the pit unless you want to repartition

Hi,
Just brought my note II three days ago, and looking to update on 4.3. Phone was rooted, Philz installed, stock rom installed (this on : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2605464).
After boot I didn't have wifi, so I follow the instructions to install the bootloader, and after that impossible to boot and impossible to flash again.
I don't know if it's because the bootloader is locked or the NAND is corrupted.
I tried to flash with original stock to fix, but same result, always the same result.

There are two things You can try.... Flashing using hemdall recovery or else try flashing the firmware along with the modem file. It worked for me. Do try this after re-installing the Samsung USB driver.

I will look for thx.
Do you have a link for the firmware + modem you installed please.
The modem is integrate the TAR I downloaded I guess (got it from sammobile).
Since my S2, it's first time I have a problem, usually I found the answer on the forum or internent, but not this time.

Yes you find the modem you were using and flash it with the rom in Odin. Next time if Wi-Fi doesn't turn on don't flash the bootloader instead Flash Dr ketan's Wi-Fi patch zip file in recovery. It worked for me.

That didn't work u.u
I tried to flash Stock ROM + MODEM, MODEM alone, always the same problem. (I used odin3.07)
I will try with the other soft, but I have to look for the tar.gz or change my tar.md5 to tar.gz (...but not with windows, i'm not confident in it for that -_-)

A friend of mine bought a refurb note 2 a while ago and im trying to help her fix her phone. The problem is it's stuck on tmobile bootscreen and it wont boot to recovery mode for some reason. Although it can boot to download mode and I doubt its rooted cause knox warranty says 0, I could be wrong though. Has anyone had this problem? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I just tried premiatul's suggestion earlier but odin gave me an error.

Anyone? I'm not sure If I'm even flashing the right ROM cause I don't even know the phone's firmware version.
Bump!
So I followed the instructions here i found on google by searching "how to how to root s6 edge plus", second link down... and it was a bad idea. Now my phone will boot, and show the lock screen for a second or two, and then just reboot. So I'm stuck in a bootloop. I'm fairly new to the android rooting scene (I've been jailbreaking iPhones sice 2007). What do I do? I tried restoring the default firmware in Odin but it didn't work. HELP!

Your phone is not bricked.
Best bet is to odin flash the official stock firmware and then go into recovery mode.
When in recovery do a factory reset.
Then reboot the phone.
After doing the above the phone will work fine.
Good luck,
Have a nice evening.
