MIUI.us PRESENTS MIUI V4.1 for HTC One V​
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Use the MIUI backup utility to back up all your apps and settings (Ignore this if coming from another ROM)
2. Place ROM zip file in your SD card
3. Boot into recovery
4. Create a nandroid backup (Ignore this if you backed up with MIUI backup)
5. FORMAT ALL PARTITIONS EXCEPT SD - DO NOT USE A SUPERWIPE
6. Install zip from SD card
7. Reboot.
8. Add your google account in settings (do this BEFORE restoring, or you will have to remove and re-add it)
9. Restore from MIUI backup (if updating)

All works that works in cm9 by lloir...Let me add it to OP

I see that a few roms are waiting for CM9 to fix things. How exactly does that work? Is it that the HTC kernel is closed source and therefore inaccessible to developers, so you need to build one on your own that is open source? Is it built completely from scratch or how does it work?

This has nothing to do with the linux kernel
BTW: HTC has released the source some time ago else we would
not be able to create Titanium and KISS kernels
The problem with CM AFAIKT is the "middleware" between the
android runtime and the wifi driver in the kernel.

But if we have functioning open source kernels/middleware for the One V, what is the point of making CM9, and to wait for it being fixed? Just because it is better?

Headphones Not Working & Fix
Whilst using this ROM today, I plugged in my headphones and started playing some music. To my horror, the music didn't play through the headphones as it didn't recognize that they had been plugged in! Imagine this: Smack That by Akon playing in front of some very important people. Not good
So, I set about finding a fix. I came across an app that fixes this (kinda) called ToggleHeadset.
You can find it here
Install it, and when/if your phone doesn't toggle to headphones, add the widget from this app and toggle it by pressing the button.
I hope this helped if any of you are having the same issues please leave a like if it worked <3
Also, fyi, it was recognizing the headphones, as the music stopped when unplugged. However, it did not play through them and the headset icon did not show up in the notification bar.

If you use KISS already it should work without having to flash a new IMG. At least it did for me.
As for a .torrent file? Attached.
If the OP wants me to remove then I will.

Take it easy, man it was nice getting their hands on miui work alone, you got to be a question, Will you follow the upcoming versions, a known and very stable miui eats quite a lot of ram is not gonna do any improvement in the rom?

yeah, i think alex's port rom has many error. i face many fc and then bootloops.

And its funny how he puts his name after the ROM name, like he owns it.... no offense. And how is it that only arco is in the credits? He ported it from somewhere so there was probably a ROM that he ported it from, right? So why didn't he give credits to that person? I smell something fishy...

I don't have Galaxy W, then I work for a community which is not important for me, but I work for it. Use my work or don't wait for fix is not cool.
Then, if you want to continue MIUI on Galaxy W, you can do it, but there will be no respect for me ...
I can also give up, it's not my problem. I take my time to make MIUI build for a device I don't have.
I'm in holidays few days, if you can't wait, I don't know why I use my time to help your community.

[ROM][PORT]FlymeOS 1.0.5 I9000 STABLE by UnlimitedRom [Updated]

Hello everyone, this is kevinrus123.
After a lot of tweaking and work i sucessfully ported FlymeOS (aka MeizuOS) to our I9000!
After all i can't say it is a port , because i tweaked very much and i think i could say it is my rom
Now it is ready to get from ALPHA version to STABLE version - yeah a stable version !
You will really like this rom , it got such a nice and smooth UI and the Apps will start really fast ; Battery life is also very good.
If someone want to make a review on Youtube , i would be really happy.
There are only two little bugs:
-Network settings can't open - causes force close
-A litte graphical glitch in Lockscreen
All in all it is a stable version and ready for daily use.
Android version is 4.0.4 ICS , it runs fast like hell!
Screenshots are attached , the ROM looks unbelivable good and is blazing fast , even faster than Jelly Bean!
Please don't flash GAPPS for ICS , because there is already a PlayStore in the rom.

Meizu Email Client tweaked - fully working
Much faster connection to network and 3G
BLN Buttons - enable or disable + Vibration on press

I always fixed this problem by rebooting into recovery, then wipe data/cache and installing again .zip package

After all I can say it is a fast rom but for me it is not a rom for daily use. I have no access to my external sd card. Network settings dont work and everything looks a bit to small. Anyway good work :good:

In fact these problems big problems compare with F4K r5 where everything is working!!
But if dev solve these problems i flash it over f4k.
Big respect for the developer to keep up to date ICS which is the best version of android to our device!!!!

I think too that ICS is the fastest and smoothest version for our i9000.
JB is fast too , but the battery is only horrible...

Flashed cm9 latest nightly. After this flashed flymeos. Despite having some errors with network settings and music player. Both restarted once. Music player does not have control for headphones. Still looks promising. What cm kernel it should be on?

Yeah, I also have problems with music player - when I try to add a folder with MP3s an error appears. Also in lockscreen those 3 icons dial, sms, unlock are hidden under the bottom border of screen. I see only top edge of icons - also all three only unlocks the screen. No shortcut to dial or sms It is very fast, I must say! Hope you will fix those problems in next update, because it is worth waiting
EDIT: wow, I restarted my phone and WiFi is still switching ON/OFF After another restart it is OK, but that was strange

Awsome design, verry nice rom but still have some bug's.
If you can resolve them, will be the best looking rom.

why does it happen? whether the process has been properly installed ..

1) keypad vibration cannot be turned off
2) front can video recording crash

Go for neroD tweaked latest stock rom..... It is stable & hav higher performance

Recent apps crashing
I am on pranjals v3,I flashed and successfully used HTC sense style recent apps.but from yesterday it's not working.system ui suddenly stopped error appears.help plz

any one tried this rom ? i m currently using...it's very stable with lot's bug fixes....and the great thing is that...the rom provide Weekly OTA update...so enjoy :good:

Once I tried miui on my c4. It is kinda best rom according to me. The only problem i faced is as soon as you leave an app, it gets terminated. I also tried its update but it was the same.

why do i see all rom hafl incomplete yet they all developer say they are bug less. then they give patch.
why dont all developer fix they old rom or delete it from the post they have discount it.
if i download any rom then i search they top see if they the devloper has give any pacth. why dont developer , the rom rom pacth less so that people who are not good as they are can just use the falshable rom.
yet all rom say they are bugless but then i read reiew that this bug and that bug.

the developers work on their own and are not hired by you or me. They share their own personal works for free for everyone's use.
And by bugless they mean the basic operations to the extent checked by them, no developer can verify every single function and try if every app works on their ROM cos they are DEVELOPERS not TESTERS.
Even the stock ROM of this phone or any other UIs of other brands like Touchwiz UI, Sony UI, etc have many inherent restrictions or limitations and some bugs. Well in that case u say, stock ROMs are meant to be that way.
U should be happy that the developers here are always available to try and resolve the issues ASAP as may be highlighted by any user.
And if u are a LAY MAN (hope u meant tht by leh man ........ LOL), then why do u want to get into all this fuss of rooting and custom ROMs. Continue with the stupid stock ROM and wait for KK OTA Update from MMX, if it comes anytime.
