This is my review of the Genuine S3 Vent Case
Youtube Link
this is not an samsung official released
edit, I just noticed it's by anymode, it's not actually official samsung release, but release by anymode, samsung authorised accessories. supplier.
Samsung officially authorized it, so basically the same thing

Screen
Hard to tell from your video, does it have any lip to lift the screen off of a table if it is set down on the face? I think I can see one, but you mention that it won't protect the phone at all if it is dropped on the screen, which tells me that it doesn't stick out at all.

No it doesn't have any lip to protect the screen, a nice feeling case but not one for protection.

Yes there is. It's not big lip but just enough to raise the phone that the screen doesn't touch the table when placed face down. And I think this provides protection to most vulnerable parts of the phone: corners.

Yes it does. I think it's stupid. And there's no real use for it either: With a coin in it's place, it's not something i'd call very stable, so i rather keep the phone in my hand or have it leaning against something. And the looks could be more like in the s2s version. Other than that, i think it's a great case and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a minimal case that doesn't add to much bulk.
P.S. Just got the official slim case today (yes, the twin pack), so we'll see which one do i prefer...

I should have a replica mesh case soon which doesn't have the coin slot. Think if the quality is good it should be a wicked case.
The slim cases are nice I think you'll like them

Yeah I saw this one a few days ago too! Finally a protective case that looks great, and with white color too! Ordered.
But after a few days, is'nt there dust or smt. under the front cover? Cause for the menu button, there is a hole in the front?!
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
ive got one and i cannot see any dust or smt under the screen cover, and the outer /back part off the case come off easy to put it in a dock ,once you now how it fits
I guess a little dust could get in from the speaker hole at the top but it would take a while to build up and its easy enough to remove the case to clean it.

I got this case about two months ago, And have been testing it out ever since. I must say, I have been a fan of the design ever since the Galaxy S. But this time around, I was really disappointed. :crying:
The Quality of the GS3 version is really bad ( I can't stress on that point enough). I have already had it replaced once, And the company took around 20 days to do so. I got the replacement because the case had started peeling. They sent me a replacement case, and after some time, That started peeling too. I have attached some pictures. Steer clear of this case. Thats all I can say right now. Try SGP. They have awesome products.
Pros:
-Not at all Bulky
-A bit of Lay on the table design
-Good for showing off design of the phone
Cons:
-Really bad quality
-No drop protection
-A tad bit expensive.
Cheers for the heads-up and review

May I suggest the SGP ultra thin air or the white barely there? That doesn't have the problem.
Sent from my GT-I9300
I was considering the barely there but thought it was too pricey...
I found this case made by Rearth...looks similar and keeps a thin profile...
Best of all it's only $9.99 right now....
Ordered mine yesterday..
Free shipping btw...

Surprised to see that many people are ok with branding on their cases.
Why TF would you want to advertise some else's products?

Agreed. and for me personally, I would look for a case that is clear (Hard case so it won't yellow) or a case that is a least somewhat transparent so you can still see the great design of the htc one.

Looks good for the price, might be a bit bulky though.
I have a standard Fosmon TPU case. It was also very cheap but surprisingly good quality.

Yeah, its a bit bulky..but im buying for the stand and without the cover that cover the screen region. Coz currently I'm using rock case which the cover is annoying when u tried to take picture or one handed operation ...

I went with this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Fosmon-SLIM-F...qid=1390424268&sr=1-1&keywords=fosmon+nexus+7
Provides enough protection for peace of mind, but as bulk-free as a case can be. Might even make the tablet easier to handle (adds a little dimension along the lip of the bezel).

I like this one better. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Trident-Aeg...es_Covers_Keyboard_Folios&hash=item2a363f14fa
It has rubber bumpers in the corners, just like Ballistic cases. Plus, read the reviews for the one you linked to. Seems kind of cheap-made.

Really? Will it fall if u use it while with the stand expended? Does it add alot of weight?

The stand has a second part that click into place when opened all the way. This makes it rigid so it does not collapse. It is a little flimsy but so far I haven't had any issues with it.
As far as weight is concerned, yeah it isn't the lightest case there is but the protection it give seems to be worth the weight to me.
