MIssing left channel for podcasts. - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

So here's a weird one. I'm running the release candidate for cm10.1 No problems as far as I can tell, then I go to play a podcast, and I'm only getting the right channel in my earphones.
When I play music, or play a podcast with the music player it plays just fine.
So the problem is the podcast app, right?
Well I uninstalled Beyondpod and installed Dogcatcher instead. And same problem. Only the right channel.
What is going on?? This is weird as hell.
Any ideas?

Make a Nandroid. Flash stock (rooted). If the problem persists then, unfortunately, it's your phone

Is it with multiple podcast episodes you are listening to, or the same episode?

Google Music Issue

Since the last update, google music player will just stop playing. i will be in the middle of an album (local) and it just will stop playing. It wont change songs or albums. It just goes dead until it decides to work again...any1 else having this issue?
I have seen this and I believe I have read other reports of it as well. It started after the last update. I have rolled back to the previous version.

I'm having the same issue. Thought it was just a conflict with the custom Rom I'm using. But I hear people are having the same issues on stock Jellybean too. So it has to just be the app.
They really need to fix this, I'm having the same issue. Music just stops out of the blue and doesn't want to start back.
same issue here.. I've been using Pandora until the next update.. I may just roll mine back if they take to long to get this issue fixed..
Same issue!

Google Music stops after three songs
I'm using Google Music for streaming. It stops after three songs and won't work again until I reboot. I'm using the Odex Blue Rom, latest version 1.7. I deleted the application from the system using Root Explorer and then downloaded it as an app. It still stops. I agree it must be the application as Pandora will play and not stop. It's a real pain because now I have to move my songs down to the S3 and find another player. So much for the cloud!
****SOLUTION****
DOWNLOADED old Google Play Music and it works. Deleted the version I have on my S3 (the latest version from the Google Play store). Googled "Google Music Player apk" and found a 4.1 version. Downloaded the 4.1 apk and installed. It worked. Played for over one hour with no stops from the Google cloud. Then I went back to Google Play Store and said download the latest version. But all I wanted to do is check the box that says don't automatically update and then I closed the install. I don't know how to get it not to automatically update any other way.
I've been having this issue also, sort of. I lose sound when playing music from rocket player or music player, song time counter keeps moving but no sound. Just out of curiosity are you guys having problems with other players or just Google streaming? I had this issue even before 4.1.2.

Google music switches to speaker after a few songs

I have a rooted S III with JB. Lately, after a few songs, Google Music switches from playing out of my headphones to playing out of the speaker. It never does this in the middle of a song, it always happens between songs (listening to song in my headphones, song ends, next song plays out of speakers).
Does anyone else have this problem and/or does anyone know a solution?
I've had this happen also, are you on stock rom or a custom rom with mods?

I'm using the Root66 version of the stock JB rom, I think everything is stock, it's just rooted.
Never had it happen when just stock ROM without any mods. That's weird though. Why not use the stock music player? Its a whole bunch better.

Because I buy music on play music and any music I put on any of my computers automatically shows up on my phone
That sucks. I'm not sure how that all works, hopefully someone can give you helpful advice.

I have an unrooted GS3, and I get the same issue showing up. My other GS3 has a similar issue, in that a song will be playing, and after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th song, the whole process seems to stall out, and I have to go to the App manager, and close out the app completely. This is a huge annoyance.
Funning, the two issues revolve around the Google Music player, which I love. I use it on my other phones (GS2, G2X, MT4G), and have no issues. Just my GS3s.
i had this problem as well with the output switching to the speakers every other song when my headphones were plugged in while using google play. i am on an unrooted GS3. it only started happening on monday after i got a device upgrade notice.
i read in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1989081&page=2 (for a diff carrier i know, but it worked) to try going to application manager and uninstalling google play updates. i have not had the speaker problem since. i think there is just a buggy update or something.
hopefully this helps some of you until they can update the update.

[Q] Bluetooth assistance.

Im growing quite tired of Android and Bluetooth. I have tried many a rom. Many a combination of apps trying effectively stream bluetooth audio to my car stereo. Thru trial and error I have figured SOME things out. If I am streaming the music on some roms it works just fine. IE the music is coming off the internet and streaming. If I am playing music stored on my phone it wont play at all over bluetooth. On some roms I can stream from Google Play Music. On others I cant, I can only stream from Spotify. On some roms I can get music playing, however its slowed down, sounds like how music used to sound when I was a kid listening to a cassette on a walkman which had batteries that were dying.
Does anyone have any suggestion of rom that bluetooth works flawlessly??? I am growing tired of this. I just want to jam out in my vehicle, and this is the only hurdle from me being 100% happy with Android. I hope this is in the right forum. If not I apologize.
It's a bug in Android 4.1 that Google has fixed and will roll out in 4.2 to my understanding.

[Q] Audio Issues!! Only One Headphone?!!

Guys I need help!!
As of today my GS3, CM 10.1 RC1, only plays audio through ONE headphone in some apps. The Phone app, and some other apps work just fine and play through both headphones (left and right). But for some reason some apps will only play audio through one of the headphones. What gives?!!
I've tried googling this and can't seem to find what's wrong. Please help!!

First, check those headphones. 2. see if mono audio is enabled in audio options(shouldn't cause this though) 3. Try a custom kernel.

I'm having the same issue. I'm having sound through my right headphone only. Only started when I updated to CM 10.1 RC1 on my GS3. I have tried 4 separate headphones with no luck. I first noticed it in the Apollo app, then I quit that and tried Pandora. Pandora worked fine for one song then it went back to the right headphone only. I tried the Google Play Music app and it was right ear only. Tried Pandora again and it is back to right ear only. Then back to the Google Play Music app and after one song in the right ear it went back to both speakers for exactly one song, then when the next song started it went back to right ear only and has stayed that way.
Edit: Verizon GS3 just to clarify

Make a nandroid backup and flash a stock rom and see if the problem persists. Sounds like it might be a hardware problem. But before that try cleaning out your headphone jack to.

Tried to link the JIRA post but haven't made enough posts to make an outside link, its #CYAN-1013 if you are wondering.
The issue has been identified and they have patched it on the latest CM10.1 nightly. For d2vzw it is nightly: cm-10.1-20130510-NIGHTLY-d2vzw
I have installed and can verify that this has fixed this issue.

Yes!! Flashing the latest nightly (cm-10.1-20130510-NIGHTLY-d2att.zip) fixed the issue. Thank god, this one was a weird one because i flashed other roms and the issue persisted. Glad that flashing the newest nightly took care of it! Sucks that the 10.1 RC1 has glitches
Thanks nnorton00!
d2att nightly also worked
I have tried it on the SGH-I747M using cm-10.1-20130510-NIGHTLY-d2att.zip and it also resolved the same issue for me (tested with Google Play Music and PocketCasts playing the Answer Me This podcast).
I'm having the same issues with my sprint gs3. I will try to update.
I am still experiencing this issue as well, on Sprint Galaxy S3. Running latest CM10.1.2. Any other known fix actions?

Did you get anywhere with this? I am running 10.1.2 and I really don't want to upgrade to 10.1.3-RC1 because of all the battery issues. I also would like to avoid going back to the nightlies but if it solves this problem I might be willing to take the plunge.
Edit:
Just posting back here for anybody looking for this info.
I upgraded to 10.1.3 RC2 and that seemed to contain the fix for these audio issues. Right now I am listening to Google Music and it never sounded better... through both speakers

[Q] Bluetooth Audio Streaming

Sorry I am posting this here but I am only able to post in General at this time.
I have seen numerous issues with bluetooth audio posted but none which seem to match my issues that are happening which nearly each ROM I try. Currently I am using XenonHD if this helps. The audio is coming through my car stereo without and noise issues at all, bass/trebble sound great my issue is that every once in a while the audio will stop for 1/2 a second and then start back up. At some points this happens 2 or 3 times a song.
I have tested with the following.
1. Download a good MP3 directly to the phone and play with PowerAmp and built in player.
2. Stream from Spotify - Also download to local and play.
3. ROMS tested: Cyanogen, NovaGen, AOKP, XenonGen and many more.
4. My phone is less than 2 feet from the radio so distance is not an issue.
There is one ROM which did work a few weeks ago but drained my battery so fast I had to get rid of it. Has anyone else been having this issue? Is there a fix I am simply looking over?
Thanks all
I have the same issue. I thought it was just normal for BT. I notice that is worse in days with bad weather. It was even doing it back before I even rooted this phone.
