I was wondering if it's possible to emulate the touch screen with an external USB keyboard, sort of like how you can emulate the touch screen with a ps3 controller using the sixaxis app. I'm trying to do this so I can play some rhythm games with a keyboard.

I'd really like to use my Xperia Play as a PC controller over wi-fi for games. Not only the touch screen but also the PS physical buttons.
Anyway to do that?
Hi all!
Is there anybody here using USB gamepads with the Note2 ?
I'm having some difficulties: in most games (GTA3 Vice City for example) all of my USB gamepads will work for the D-pad but none of them will register the buttons, so I can move and that's all.
I've tried with a microsoft gamepad, a mini foldable gamepad (Dicota) and an unbranded simple gamepad.
BUT the Sixaxis is the only controler I have perfectly working including with Vice City when plugged to USB.
With emulators, that's the same, except for Fpse that natively recognizes all of my gamepads
I've tried apps to change the buttons values, but in vain, only the Sixaxis fully works in USB
So my question is: what USB gamepad do you have successfully and completly working with the Note 2, or is there something to to to get them fully working?
I want to play Vice city using my foldable gamepad (way smaller than any BT gamepad and just plug and play)
Anybody get Gamekeyboard optimised for the Shield yet. All my Apps keep crashing when I use it. Currently trying to get it set up for Ravensword and Dungeon Hunter 4 but it doesn't work very well. Ravensword keeps crashing out and DH4 gets confused and doesn't register when I place the A button over the attack command. Its very odd. I noticed other games crashing when I try and put the thumbstick over the virtual thumbstick in general.
Its rooted by the way
So far I tried Gamekeyboard, USB BT Joystick center , Sixaxis controller
Gamekeyboard don't work correctly it doesn't even recognize the right analog stick
USB BT Joystick center is the most promising one because it works perfect with a 360 controller the problem is that it recognizes the gamepad as a keyboard and the name is nvidia corporation so you can't map the buttons correctly and is a pain to create a driver with bits
Sixaxis just works with PS3 controller it doesn't have drivers for other gamepads
Tincore keymapper would work. You can use that to map touch or to assign different functions to the buttons on the controller. You just need to sideload it since it is still not showing up in the play store for the SHIELD. Plus tincore isn't an IME so there isn't the noticeable delay in inputs like there is with an IME like Gamekeyboard.
Tincore
Sadly I can get Tincore set up with Ravensword very well and even when I do go through the set up it still doesn't press the buttons properly (can't jump etc Is there a place I can download profiles for these games where everything works ok. Tincore is a confusing mess and doesn't actually work that well.
Just tried CoD Zombies
Can't seem to get any games working with Tincore either. Whole thing gets confusing and the sticks don't work like they should etc none of the buttons work when placing over a screen button and the look functionality is awful. I can't use left stick to navigated or use right stick to turn, look etc really don't know what's wrong with all of this. Watched the YouTube video that sets tincore up with final fantasy but that's too basic and I want to navigate 3D environments.
Sigh, another day wasted...
Tincore works fine for me on Shield, make sure to enable "swap scales" option.

Thank you Tincore is definitely the best app for the shield
I connected my OTG cable to the xbox 360 controller and plug the other end of the OTG cable to my Nexus 7. Most buttons like the left stick, buttons work, however I can't get the D-Pad work.
How do I make the D-Pad work?

I too have been wondering this as I love using my xbox controller on my nexus 7 but emulation leaves a bit to be desired if I can't use the d-pad to play old console games...
Depending on what game you play you go to controller in settings where you will see a list of actions. You tap on an action like for instance to fire a wepon then you tap the button on your controller to program it to fire when you hit it. Most first person shooters have that option. Sixaxis with a ps3 controller is what I do. Gameloft games work well with sixaxis but madfinger can be a little tricky to set up.
Keymapper
Use Tincore Keymapper to remap every button you wanted on any game or application you like. Works like charm for me.
I Love my DS4 Controller with the Fire TV. But I've been having an issue where in some apps the buttons aren't mapping correctly or not usable at all.
Im also having issues with using more than one controller at the same time. The buttons on either controller map as the same input and both controllers only control player one. This happens both through Bluetooth and wired
I know we currently do not have IME support yet even with root, but i was hoping for any suggestions that may help with this.
Thanks!.
