I install 10.2nightly on the defy + and google play is corrupt can someone give a sure footed safe guide ? there are a stack of builds there which one do you go for etc.

Not the ROM, but the Gapps you flashed may be the problem.
Boot into recovery, and flash Gapps for your android version again.
Try another Gapps package if the problem persists.

Yeah, I was gonna say...need much more detail to this with all the different versions of the Note 10.1. Could get confusing to people thinking they are all encompassing.

Why ? the last edit was on 21th June, this is totally outdated! No 4.3 Roms, no 4.4 Roms.
And the XDA Database makes this whole stuff obsolete.
