Hey guys,
So Im fully migrated and with lots of cases to review. Im gonna start the serie with the Cruzerlite androidified. This case is one of my favorite ones (next to the diztronic) Its a perfect match between budget and looks. ITs thin, has the android in the back and gives good protection.
Here it is guys!
http://youtu.be/1RxYErG50A0
i also love this case... fits very snug
i just got mine today, anyone else have the holes slightly off?
Thanks for the video review. The sides look a little flimsy though. I still will probably buy one just because it has Andy the Android on it

No. You just need to fiddle with the case until everything lines up. There's a certain way to put on right.

This.
When i first got mine i thought it didnt quite line up right, but then i figured out how to put it on right.
Dont start with a corner, start at the top or bottom and line up the mic hole. The other end will line itself up.
The fit really is perfect.

exactly, Its all about moving the case, Remember it is a tpu case therefore u can manipulate it a little bit. Dont get me wrong I thought the same thing, however after playing with it a little, it is just user error until placed correctly
Both the Cruzerlite and Amazon say that the cases are for the international version i9100. Can someone confirm if they fit the Tmobile T999? Thanks.

All Galaxy SIII are exactly the same physically. All cases and accessories ate interchangeable.

Btw - if you can't stand to look at the splotchy parts on the back of the translucent cruzerlites where it sticks to the phone, I followed another's recommendation by smearing a tiny bit of baby talcum powder inside the case, and it seems to work.
Maybe this is something cruzerlite could do at the factory? Talcum powder is a 1 on the mohs scale of hardness, so it's not an abrasive.

Damn, that's a good idea. I just tossed the cruzerlite to the side and got a speck case. I am going to have to try that. I like switching up cases every couple of weeks.
Pretty nice!
I just got mine today from Amazon.
Initials impressions is that it is quite nice. It fits pretty snug and looks nice on the phone. Especially if you like Andy the android. It is way easier to hold my phone now, especially with the side grips. I much prefer this soft TPU feel than to the hard plastic. There is a nice quality feel to the material.
My only complaint is the same as the users above me mentioned, the splotchy wet look on the back. Easily overcome with the talcum powder suggestion. Thanks zmore! Good looking out :highfive:
Phone is still quite thin after it is on. All in all, good buy, I highly recommend!
Now, back to flashing!

I had the same problem with the cutouts, but you can move it enough to line them up more or less. The cutouts are so big, they do not feel precision cut at all.
I imagine the talc trick would also make the case easier to move on the phone.
Not great with invisible shields as the case can pull up the edges due to the tight fit.
Overall, great for 10 bucks though.

Actually, Amazon has some decent pictures up on their site.
Sorry, I can't post a link since I have so few posts. But if my attachments come through, there are a couple pictures.
I have these on my Nexus 4 and they rock feel and look awesome. Just order them for my HTC one. will report back. Usually about 1 or 2 weeks shipping.

is the power button cut out so we can use the IR blaster?
Look for pictures - in short yes the IR is fine.
It does not cover the whole phone. Back and sides. Top has a small notch for headphones trimmed out and bottom is open.
Most of these type of cases will always be that way. I think the POETIC case apparently had this issue.
How do you design a case and knowing all the specs and you forget about the IR ?

aaaand... back on topic.
Nice case! I'm still hunting down the perfect case; meanwhile I've just ordered a cheap transparent case for about £3.
I'm tempted by the Nilkin, but the fact that it doesn't protect the top and bottom is a bit off-putting.
Something like the double-dip hard case would be great for me, but I'm just not keen on the colours they used.
I rather like the look of the Urban Armor Gear cases though. I just wish they had it in this colour.

The sides of the Nillkin are the smooth rubbery coating like you would find on the back of some of HTC's older phones (ie S710). The back is textured with a pattern, so it isn't the same feeling as the sides. I would say it's definitely less slippery than the phone naked.
I had a devilcase for my HTC one and loved it but they aren't making a version for the nexus 5 unfortunately. Anyone know of anything similar for the nexus 5?

I tried plastidip once, sounded great in theory until you put it in your pocket and it pulls out every piece of lint that was in there.
I would love an aluminum bumper. Hope someone knows of one in the works

Hi,
I have to agree, it's extremely slippy, so bad for me that I have already ordered replacement.

[edit] Call me stupid... I just had my Slim Armour case off and indeed it is *not* an aluminum backplate. I put it on so quickly when I first received it, and it had been outside in my mailbox all day, so it felt cold and with the anodized-look I just assumed aluminum without thinking about it very hard.
I agree with others regarding the slippery-ness of it though... But I really like the look so i'm just being really careful not to drop it when I whip it out of my pocket.

No problem. The only issue I've been having with it is that it tends to collect dust on the phone. Along the edges and inside the cutouts. Let me know if you experience the same issue.

I kinda like keeping my phone clean so I wouldn't let dust collect anyways but we'll see what happens. For some reason I don't think it's getting delivered today even though it says it's in transit.
I bought several cases so far and always end up going back to Slim Armor. It adds a bit of bulk but the protection is great. I actually dropped my phone 3 times from about pocket height on ceramic tiles and tarmac and once when my 9mo son smashed it on the marble table. Took the phone out and not a single damage on it. I admire the stealthy look of the black one plus the cut out are very precise. Only downside is the bottom part where the micro USB port sits has a slight gap that do tend to collect dust but I can live with that

My Slim Armor case has been in my city for 5 day's and they won't let me pick it up. Damn FedEx. I ordered a case from Trident after I ordered the Spigen and I'm already getting that one today. Irritating. How long has it taken people ordering this case from Amazon to receive theirs?

I was actually in a rush to get mine because I didn't want to walk around too long without a case so I paid for two day shipping. It is prime eligible though. Most items that are prime eligible even if you don't have prime and choose the 3-5 day shipping it gets there fairly quickly. At least in my experience.

I'm just anxious cause it really looks one a great case and it's ridiculous to have a package sit a couple miles from your house for 5 days. It was sent FedEx smart post, which goes from shipper, to FedEx, then to my post office. Doesn't sound too smart to me.
I laugh at the online reviews of this case, where the reviewer separates the two halves and then struggles to put the case on the phone.
It is a two piece case, but it is made to be used like a one piece case.

Is there a certain way you put the phone in the case? I know you keep the two parts together but how do you start the phone in the case and get it the rest of the way in?

I can say I'm very pleased with the Slim Armor. Install was simple. Very good looking case, got the black one. Very clean looking. I will say that the power button is a tad harder to push, but nothing to give a negative review about, definitely no where near as hard to push as the Zerolemon battery case for my Galaxy Nexus. All in all, very much worth the money and the wait I had to get it.

Anyone tried it yet? Going to do some water activities this weekend so snagged one on Amazon. Haven't had good luck with LifeProofs in the past. Have had Ghosteks Atomic before but for iPhone their charger cutout was horrendous. I guess for $35 if I get a weekends use out of it I'll be happy.
