Gears Of War Battery MOD
For All TouchWiz Based ROMs (4.1.2)
I had some people asking for a Gears Of War Battery MOD port to our device (Originally for the Epic 4G). So I went ahead and did that for you guys. The Icons actually came out WAY more HI-Def then i thought they would lol. But unfortunately it goes by the stock increments. So its not yet a 1% mod. (I can't seem to get any stat_sys_battery.xml files to work for me)

I need help making this a 1% mod. So I will have 100 png files. But I edit the stat_sys_battery and it doesn't work. I flash and I get no battery icon.

I'm sure tiffany84 will get you where you need to be, but unless you made some edits elsewhere you'll want to edit tw_stat_sys_battery (and the charging one perhaps?). Hope that helps

i've been so caught up with aokp, codename, gummy, and cm9 that completely forgot about gingerbread in my search for a stable rom with good battery life where everything works and is almost as quick as ICS. on calk's v3.0, better battery life than any ics aosp rom will give, and there are absolutely no issues with sdcard or market or gps or cameras. albeit, it's definitely not as pretty, and i miss the hell out of my apex launcher (there are no comparable gb launchers), and the rom's almost triple in size o_o. if you're someone who values a fully functioning phone with awesome battery life, dont forget about your roots!

It doesn't looked anymore shopped than any real screen shot lol. I mean what do you see? A badly compressed jpeg with no or wiped exif..
Set your screen to the longest possible timeout or to never turn off and then display something black since its AMOLED. Can get some epic screen on times while doing nothing. Extended batteries help as well. I could easily double the screen on time i get to 4-5 hours doing so. Not sure about 7 ive never tried.

Took like 5min to do. Now I modded both tw_status_bar xml, and the status bar xml the same to get this to work

Just a quick FYI.. for anyone wanting to manually do this on TW. You'll need to make changes to the tw_status_bar.xml rather than the status_bar.xml mentioned in the OP.

Did you completely remove your current one. It usually means the signature is messed up. What one are you trying?

Just tried it, no problems here. You can try this
Install zipsigner from the market and resign the apk. Then try to install it

I have been trying to find some Xtheme CM themes for the Note 3 and so far this is the only one I have found to work (kind of). The phone pad is the only thing that seems to be not working but I use a different dialer.
It is the Simplex Theme.

Are you using the flash able zip on cobalt? I really like the simplex theme but that dialer is really atrocious.
Alphablue_Touchwiz is nice and works good but could use some more themeing
