You have your logic confused. There is no such thing as bootloader mode. Come again.

I believed the r800a does not have fastboot enabled by default you need to pay to have it enabled

I just got the GN and tried to root my phone. the root was successful. When my phone tries to boot up, it says google abd there's a lock at the bottom of the phone.
Does that mean it's bricked?? If so, what do I do?
Thanks
The lock needs to be there, it means the bootloader is unlock, is the lock "unlocked"?
It shows it's unlocked. It seems like it's in an infinite boot mode. How do I get the phone to boot up?
adb reboot recovery
and btw this thread should not be in the dev section
Sorry about not putting it in the correct forum.
Thanks for the advice. I'll search for adb rebbot recovery instructions.
Boot into fast boot mode, pick recovery and reboot? Sorry, I'm a complete "noob" at this stuff so I'll provably be of no help :/ Also, wrong section.

Did the search and I'm a little confused. Does anyone have the link or know where I can find the instructions for adb reboot recovery?
Thanks

That's an adb command, not something you need to search for.
I'd recommend you go to fastboot mode and run these commands:
-fastboot oem lock
then
-fastboot oem unlock
This should wipe your device, after that it should boot normally.

Which won't help as the kernel doesn't boot anyway. Wait for a fix and in the meantime flash another kernel.

hi, both volume keys (up + down) are broken
i an now running stock 4.3
is there any way to root my phone without them ?
i have adb drivers installed and i can boot into bootloader mode but cannot select to go into recovery from there
Search the forum for toolkits from wugfresh or mskip. That is automatic rooting and flashing. Just plug your phone to the computer using the cable.

Adb doesnt work in fastboot. If I remember it correctly it will boot into the recovery right after flashing. If it doesnt just flash it first and then type: fastboot boot recovery recovery.img

There are some toolkits that you can use that bypasses having to do really anything on the boot up.
check out wugfresh nexus root toolkit
thank you for your help, but all options in this toll kit reboots my device into fastboot mode from there in need to change the selection using volume keys
that do not work
if i can only root my phone in order to install recovery from there i can continue to install a costume rom ......

your problem begins with unlocking bootloader in order to flash via fastboot.... you need volume key to select "yes"
I don't believe the OMAP flash method of unlocking the bootloader requires volume keys. You could then use adb to reboot into the bootloader and boot into a custom recovery.
That said, I highly recommend against unlocking and rooting unless you get your volume keys fixed. If something goes wrong and sends you for a bootloop, you may have a hard time recovering without functional volume keys.

Hi, I'm just beginner in android rooting.
While following the way to downgrade my v.5.1.1 A5CNB19 to v.5.0.2, n1 become bricked. I can't boot in recovery mode. The reason that I assume to be is flashing FM recovery.img. I tried to work on adb and fastboot but nothing works.
Please help me to unbrick it. If u have stock rom or recovery.img for A5CNB19, please share it.

Download and unpack/unzip the file in my link below, if all goes good you get a file named: recovery.img after that:
https://mega.nz/#!QIZQ0LJT!eqJg2ysy_THf1i8skuks78WwKZwszzcog_ao4Ott7C4
Try to boot into fastboot (power button+volume down) and open up a command prompt, and navigate to the map where you downloaded my recovery, and typ in: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
