Hi,
Is it possible to downgrade from stock MB4 back to the stock GB I had running?
Ever since the update I've been getting random crashes and system hangs, so I want to go back to what I had before and patiently wait for the official one.
Is it possible?
use search.

Hello guys,
I recently bought my Arc S, and today i Installed CM 7.0.2 105
I tried it and it's nice, kinda, calendar look is awful comparing to original overall some things better, some not - personal point of view.
I was wondering is there a way to reset everything back as it was (some how to would be nice)?
Or If i wanted to have stock based functions (FM, HDMI), but without bloatware and with slightly better battery life, what would you recommend me?
Also, since i installed CM will I be able to download official ICS when SE release it?
Thank you for answering these newbies questions

If you mean completely stock, read this.

DooMKernel and a stock based ROM like Acronium or XperiaMOD.
Or completely stock with root, removed bloatware and V6 Supercharger.

Yes, if you relock your BL, you can update it when it's out with PCC/SEUS.
To remove bloatware check my sig for the tutorial

Maybe you should first read some tutorials/stickies.
*.ftf files are for Flashtool.

If i knew a thing or two about this i wouldn't be bothered to ask a question i would read a tut or find my way around forum...
Anyhow i flashed it using this site:

Hi all,
Is there a stock rooted 4.1 GSM for the Nexus out yet? Currently using IMM76I, just had the OTA for the official release on my phone now.

may i ask something? are you BLIND?
simple: NO.
cause 4.1 was the giveaway at the i/o for the visitors. a dump was used for the custom roms by bigxie and others... the nearest hat you asking for.
4.1.1 is the official jelly bean release by google.

Ideally this question could have been posted in the Q& A section.

Apologies for the wrong section, my mistake. [Moderator; Please could you move this thread?]
I shall go hunt for Bigxie's ROM, thanks, stock is exactly what I am looking for.
I tend to shy away from Custom ROM's I simply don't know enough to get my self out of trouble when it comes to updates/flashing if something goes wrong, hence my initial dumb question!

bigxie first modified the 4.1 version, then the 4.1.1 version, so you're both right.

im happy thats works for you now i plan the kill of you... and yes its kinda worth it hehe
I am now using an UNLOCKED HOX (international), with ViperX 3.7.3 rom and Android 4.1.1.
If i go to flash a rom that is Android 4.2.2 , like CM10 or IceColdJelly , am I able to flash them directly ?
if yes, then how about the restore ? It is also simply flash a 4.1.1 rom (like ViperX) that go back to android 4.1 ?
I do some research and seems that there have a problem on 4.2 ( sdcard0 folder), will it cause a problem for going back to 4.1 version ?
lots of confuse , sorry for my poor English and noob on flashing:crying:
you have to do a full-wipe almost every time you want to install a new ROM...

What you mean is flash boot.img-> "wipe"-> and flash .zip like common step ?
That mean i don't need to care about flashing roms with different Android Version?
thanks for reply
