Change lockscreen rooted kindle fire 1st gen. - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering if there was a way to change the color of the orange slider on the kindle fire lockscreen without disabling the whole lockscreen and using a custom one. Thanks for any advice

Jelly Bean with the top down?

I had this in another forum but didn't receive a response.
Is there a jelly bean rom where I can hide the top bar the space above the blue line? with everything I need in the bottom status bar, the top bar takes up unneeded space.
If you are referring to the kindle, swtch to tablet mode.

Yes I tried that. I've tried three different ROMs, but they all have the space above the blue bar.
WTF are you talking about?
Perhaps it is the launcher. I use Apex and have no blue bar and no space. I turn off the separator for the dock and have no wasted space. I close the dock and hide the status bar all the time for full screen.

THANK YOU! I was using ADW ex. uninstalled it. the bar is gone. thanks!
ADW is a GB/FroYo launcher, hence incomplete compatibility with ICS and JB.

[Q] Hide status bar in cm10 hashcodes latest release?

Hello everyone I was wondering if there was a way to hide the the status bar in the latest cm10 rom by hashcode? I have the tablet UI installed and I like the look of it but would like to go completely full screen in games and what not. I know twa_priv roms do this but I want as close to stock cm10 as I can get, does anyone know of a way to do this or a mod I can install over this rom? Thank you in advance.
You could try Apex launcher and see if the additional controls work. Swipe controls are not stock, which is what twa_priv ROMs have.

Kindle 2 unrooted adw 10.4.3 wallpaper problem

Does anyone know how to enable wallpaper for the adw launcher ex on a unrooted kindle fire 2 on 10.4.3?
It has to be rooted to fix it, amazon changed a boolean to true for disabling system wallpaper in the framework of the os. I posted a fix on page 8 here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2295750
But yea you have to be rooted to fix it, because its a system file that has to be modified to fix this. Sorry if this wasn't helpful.

Post your Screenshots, Homescreens and Icons

ASOP, Zen UI metallic flow icons. Not sure how to take screen shots on kfowi. I will look into it.
I used Screencast Touch from playstore

No I used the super tool to root then used flashfire and installed asop rom. It's great
I used LauncherHijack
Not perfect but it's holding me over until I can flash Fire Nexus
Used this tutorial to hide lock screen ads and disable ota's plus the fire launcher:

I also disabled Alexa and a few more things so I have a little more available ram. It now runs a bit smoother because I'm not always out of ram when opening a new app. Running Nova Prime with custom navbar to toggle the navigation bar hidden when I want a bit more screen real estate. Now it's just how I like it. Not bad for $50!
