hi paul, if you are sure that the only broken thing is the camera (and you have the skills to replace it yourself) you can have a look to buy one on ebay, they are not expensive.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...TR0.TRC0&_nkw=htc+one+x+front+camera&_sacat=0
if you cant repair it yourself go ask for a quote in a repair shop.

I can replace it for you, especially if you live in northern Europe.

Is it the camera module that's broken or the lens?

I do not know I have not opened yet

My front camera becomes blur recently. Badly

if your camera is blurry use a damp qtip to clean it out. dust collects in that hole and severely diminishes the quality of the image

good idea, but not new. there were collective orders on some german forums, where they ordered sapphire glasses in perfect size as replacement.
here are two leftovers on ebay:

the manufacturer is "Edmund Optics"
Buy a lens filter for pro cameras stick it on

Or don't bother, my work mozart manages fine without and there's still a flat bit of glass covering the lens behind the rear cover...!

Check Ebay there is a number of them there.

It's also worth ordering the waterproof display seal "decal". Far better than cutting out strips of adhesive or Superglue, just completely remove old seal (the hard part) put the new one in its place, install digitizer and reassemble. Simple and done.

Camera glass

Has anyone managed to crack the glass on their camera yet?
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
No, and with luck I never will!!
No, as far as I have seen here not. But the camera glass isn't Gorilla glass so take care of it ...
It can be scratched easily ... (see other topics about that)

Yes.
Boot into fastboot.
Plug USB in
Turn phone over
Hit with hammer.
It was pretty easy to work out how to do this, much easier than s off.
Feel free to donate if this helps.

Try cleaning alcohol.

I recommend you Isopropanol.
Recently I needed to replace the back of my hox so I had one extra spare to try on, I also tried the logo.
I use it to clean camera bodies and lenses as well.
You can buy it on ebay, it's not so expensive and handy to clean all kind of plastic.
I just use antibacterial wipes, the same ones I use for my laptops. Comes up a treat - like new.
Cheers.

I never used to case phones, then I dropped my first HOX, now I got a silicon case for my second HOX.
I find the HOX very slippy and this case gives great grip and doesn't add much to the size.
It was only a few quid on amazon.
I had one on my white one a while ago but thought it made it a bit ugly. Do cases from the a t t variant fit ours? Thdres one they have I'd happily use. Same makers from one I had on my nexus was lush

i think you are talking about the adhesive just under the battery,it is there only to fix the battery to the cover, you can use your phone like that, i don't think this will bring any problem
dont worry it will do just fine
