I just recently updated my phone to 4.1.2 using the LJC-MA7_All-In-One and Stock_SPH-L900VPAMA7_Odex
And now the activation notification pops up and runs everytime I turn the phone off and on again is there any way to get rid of that?

In the last few days, my Galaxy Note 2 has started acting weirdly. Some of the symptoms are:
- Launcher not responding to apps being started up when selected in the app drawer
- The phone takes a while to turn on after sleep
- When docked, the desk dock often doesn't appear
- Apps take a long time to start
- Text messages are not being sent in a timely manner
- Most oddly the lock screen unlock tutorial keeps on appearing (even though I previously selected to not show it again) and pressing OK warm boots the shell sometimes
My phone was working fine. The only thing I can think of that I did was update a few apps. Is this likely to be the cause? Any other ideas why the phone might be playing up?
If u are on stock rom. Do factory reset. Not sure why u are having all these problems. Run anti virus scan too. Maybe u downloades something thats causing problems.

hi guys, i got a d855 and i have some issues which i think they may be stock rom's bugs and i d like to hear your opinion. I have the latest ota V10h-EUR-XX btw.
1) Every time i restart it appears in the notification panel the "voice mate" shortcut. I remove it using the edit at far right but still it reappears every time i reboot the phone.
2) Sometimes after an unanswered call or message the screen turns on as usual but it doesnt turn off. Ofc i ve selected to shut off at 30 seconds from the settings. Even if i change the settings to like 15 seconds the screen still wont turn off unless i manually lock it. This problem fixes if i restart the phone.
3) Every time i boot my phone i get this message: "unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped"
So is there someone else who experiences these kind of issues?
wow, these 3 bugs are new to me. haven't experienced any of those at all.
I'm on V10J global though.
You're having permissions issues.
I'd bet my left testicle that a fresh flash back to stock will fix all 3 of your issues.
+1 on the voice mate .. irritating ~
I've encountered the screen on issue - although not only did the screen stay on after a missed call, the phone also became and remained completely non-responding, no screen input registered. Had to reboot manually. It happened only once in 3 weeks though.
Anyone have this problem ? Pulled my phone out of my pocket trying to respond a text msg . When I went to the lockscreen it was stuck and wouldn't respond to my swipe . Held the power button down to bring up the power menu. It wouldn't let me tap the restart button . Battery pull once n start , same thing at lock screen . Did it a second time finally let me swipe to open the phone . Freaking annoyed with this !

Mine does the same thing....
It is very annoying I dont know what to do i have tried different launchers, have used watch dog and monitored apps and nothing seems to work. Watch dog did alert me to some apps that i removed, but the problem persists.
I have a similar issue. However my message app also takes like 15 seconds to start.
If i use the task switcher button, then kill all aps, start messaging, it takes a while for it to actually open.
Now if the app is already started. And i switch back to it, either by pressi g the icon again or by the task switcher then it it responds instantly like it should.
I did not have this problem on the orig firmware and i did not have this problem initially on nk3 after updating. It just startrd happening about a week ago. Clearing messages did nothing. Clearing apps cache did nothing, claering apps data did nothing. Preforming a hard reset via recovery didnt even help with the issue for me.
Anyway, back on track. I have experienced what you are experiencing. Because i know when my txt msg app is "hung" for a few seconds. It literally causes the entire phone to become unresponsive until the app loads. Could this be what you are experiencing also?

I got the same thing happening. When I wake the screen, the screen goes dim, and there is no response. The phone just hangs. I have to pull the battery. The phone gets laggy from time to time and I have to reboot. It's like the ram is bogging the phone. I didn't have this problem before I updated to the the new update. Any ideas for a fix. Thanks in advanced.

Same here, a reboot fixes it for a short time but it goes back to lagging on the home screen. I used to use the FPscanner until it got so annoying, I thought that was the culprit. I put the lockscreen on swipe unlock and sure enough same lag and glitch. I think it has something to do with the apps open in the background. Also noticed connecting to wifi makes the phone stutter for a sec, so maybe the combo of unlocking the phone with a lot of apps running in back and connecting to wifi? IDK but this phone should def. not have this issue!
I am always aware when I'm connected to WiFi so I've had the setting in WiFi settings for notifications when connected or nearby WiFi turned off. But when I did the 5.1.1 update it seems to be showing the persistent notification again. When I went into the settings the box is still unchecked and when I toggle it is does nothing at all. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? Any information would be appreciated.
Things I've already tried 1) restart phone both with it checked and unchecked 2) factory reset phone 3) force stopped notification
The pesky noticed can not be removed as far as I know.

That's weird. It was on 5.0.1
Looks like a bug...
in order to get rid of the notification (i know how to do this cause of the same exact bug on the S4 a few years back)
1. Settings
2. Applications
3. Application Manager
4. Swipe to all
5. Tap on android system
6. Tap on force stop.
That should get rid of the notification.
Not worth the hastle everytime the wifi is turned on!

Just wanted to update everyone who might have the same problem. It seems like they fixed this in another security update Verizon pushed out recently. I am now on Build Number LMY47X.N910VVRU2BPA1. I'm glad they addressed this because it was really annoying.
hi
i have the same problem and i looked every web site and i got no thing
even i signed into the network still give me a notification saying i have to singe in , and it disconnect after some minute
SMS on my Pixel XL randomly seems to stop working. I usually have to restart the phone to get it to work again. I've never had an iPhone, so I know it's not the issue I've seen people having previously used iMessage. This problem seems to happen with both Google Messages, and ChompSMS. I'm on VZW's network.
Anyone else been experiencing this issue?
BUMP, same problem all the damn time, and gets on my nerves. generally i can just toggle airplane mode on and back off to get it working

I think it happens when I get to an area without service. It's like the SMS service is unaware the connection is good when I have service again.
I'm trying Verizon Messages in the meantime. Surprisingly well featured app. Seems to allow SMS over data/wifi, so it might be a work around for this issue. Will report back later.
Same things is happening to me after updating to the August security patch. Should have left it alone as it was working fine before.
issue
I'm having an issue when I want to send a message it won't let me start the message unless I toggle keyboard button then go back to message wierd
