hboot comaptible - HTC One X

I'm problably one in hundreds with and old hboot (and no chance to update from htc oficially).
So, I was thinking, if all endeavoru HOX have the same hardware, is there a chance to use any hboot (or a compatible one) on any device??
I mean, my HOx is CID bstar301, version-main 2.17.513.2, but as far as I see, I'm doomed to remain in hboot 1.12, and I was wondering if there is a chance to update my hboot using some similar, or maybe compatible one...
Code:
$ sudo fastboot getvar all

INFOversion-bootloader: 1.12.0000

Does anyone knows if there is a chance of doing this? (without brick my phone)

I don't have any idea

ok inside the firmware you must to see one file android-info.txt open this file and see what CID is writen inside!
Click to collapse
Code:
modelid: PJ4610000
cidnum: BSTAR301
delcache: 1

No way to use another firmware if you don't have S-OFF HOX you must to wait for offical update
And this question is answeared in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159274

Your hboot may not match with the ruu. You can also go back to stock by nandroid backup. :good:
This is the correct ruu for your device:
http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...12-radio-2120413520-release-274900-signedexe/
Lock your Bootloader first : fastboot oem lock
And then run the ruu with admin privileges..

First - remove serial & imei no. from your post.
Your device is S-On, you need to relock bootloader to install RUU
command : fastboot oem lock

This is the RUU that you need: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224382315
Since you are S-On, you will need to re-lock your bootloader to flash it. The command for that is fastboot oem lock
Then either flash the RUU.zip in fastboot, or use the extSD card method
Good luck!
