Sweet just bought my HTC one x after selling my galaxy note nice phone but there seems to be one problem why is there a extra button for settings with three dots below anyone help

Apps that aren't properly ICS enabled will use the 'legacyl button at the bottom of the screen
If you root your phone there is a mod in the development section to get rid of the dots and change the right button into the options button

You can't do it without root ?

No, but gradually more and more apps will actually be optimized for ICS..

Or will they just have a software fix for it ?

Apparently even Google Reader is not properly ICS compatible. It has the top-right 3-dots AND the bottom 3-dots.
HTC should have given the option with the right hand side button. Most apps aren't ICS compatible.

I hope it will be a software fix instead of slowly waiting for all the apps to be competible with ics

Hi all,
I've had my HTC One X for about 9 months now, and this an issue that has plagued me since the day one. I bought my phone from my brother, who is an HTC developer and had a custom Viper ROM installed. I wasn't a fan, so I installed Cyanogenmod to get used to the phone. After switching ROMs, I noticed that the phone could not receive calls or texts while plugged in. I've switched ROMs a couple of times since then, and I'm now on MaximusHD 21.0 with the same issue.
Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? I'm willing to try anything to fix this issue. Any and all responses welcome.
Device info:
S/N: HT23CW104092
Running Android 4.2.2/Sense 5/MaximusHD 21.0
Can post any other requested info I just want to fix this bug!!

Well I think that is a hardware problem..Revert it to stock rom,and go to service for advice
With that answer you may as well have told me to buy a new phone. Thanks tho

Charging shouldn't effect signal. Are you using stock charger/cable?
Could try another USB cable that may help.

Hi,
I'm not sure what brand of cable i'm using. I will try and find an HTC branded one this week.
