I searched for this also and could not find anything.
So I dissected a TouchWiz rom and took a look at all the images but didn't see the pointer's image either.
In Paranoid we get a mouse cursor, maybe if you open it up you might be able to find it.
But for TouchWiz roms I don't think you can change it, but I'm no dev so don't take my word for it.

Hello!
I hope you can help. After upgrading the ota the day yesterday, whenever I change the background and picking a picture from the gallery, it only allows me to choose part of the picture, that is, the vertical form, which gets too zoomed in and looks horrible. Before, I would allow me to choose a different form, more landscapy...
Yes, the backgroudn scrools, but the image quality is HORRIBLE!
Is it happening to you? Do you know how to fix it?
Thank you so much!
I already answered this question in two threads (one of them yesterday), plus there are a few more about this, its the ROM, Samsung made it that way. Search and youll find out how to fix it.

Sorry,
I really did search and only found one post from september 2011 without answers... I will look again, but could you at least let me know which post?
Thanks
I didn't mean to be rude, sorry also.

This one has a fix, but I haven't tried it:

Most of the dev ROMs have this fixed already.

Thank you. You were not rude, you were helpful! I always search, but couldn't find them possibly because I didn't know the right words to search for. Thanks again
I was going to look something up last night and I was not able to find the forum search tools. The only search is the device search at the very top. I thought it might be a temporary issue so I just waited and tried again today and still can't find it. Have I become blind or what?
It's still there (directly beside the device search).
As soon as I submitted the post the other menus along with the search menu appeared...???? Problem fixed but wonder what the heck the deal was?

Maybe the page wasn't loaded properly or something. It never went away for me.
I was looking for the forum search tools. I think both of the searches at the top are meant to find a specific device, although one will somewhat work as a general site search.

That was my first thought last night, I closed and restarted the browser and even the computer. Plus it was the same way today. Just a fluke I guess, I never realized how much we depend on that little button. LOL

It depends on the theme you are using. If you use the "2010" theme, it will be there. If you use the "2013 beta or 2013 beta - 1024" it will not.
Didn't know I had a choice of themes. Have to look into that.

Just scroll to the bottom of the page and choose one from the drop down.
Moved to About XDA section.
Hello!
After hours searching the internet for a decent answer, I have not found any solution to my question.
Is it possible to change the lockscreem wallpaper without installing any other Apps? (Such as WidgetLocker etc...). Of course, the wallpaper will have to be different from the one in "home" screen.
Some say that the solution lies inside framework-res.apk, others say SystemUI.apk...has anybody tried this, or has a solution?
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply! I already had a look at that post, but the forum says that it works only on LG Esteem.
Anyway, I tried having a look into my "keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml", but the line which should[/b] appear, as it says on the post, does not exist, or even not in the way that it should.
And that is where I got stuck
Hello,
Whenever I get a picture sent to me via MMS, it shows it as a slideshow. This drives me crazy and I wish it didn't.
I've Googled it so many times and looked everywhere but haven't been able to figure it out.
I found this thread for a Note2:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2221045
Adding this into system/csc/feature does the trick.
<CscFeature_Message_EnableMmsOnePageViewer>true</CscFeature_Message_EnableMmsOnePageViewer>

But I'm not sure how to apply that to my SGH-i747M
Please help!!!
I've read that some people just get a different texting app, but I'd rather just fix the stock one. Unless there are some other benefits that I don't know about.
Thanks!!!
Most of the rooted stock roms found in the development section have this fixed.
Is there any way to fix it on the stock ROM though? I'm rooted but don't have time to look at changing Roms right now but would just like to fix this one issue.
The best solution I've found is to ask the sender to just send the picture and not include any text. If they do this, I will come through as just a picture that you can pinch and zoom. This is a hack, but works and is better than nothing.
I guess I just figured that the Note2 and S3 are similar so the fix would be easy to apply here, but I guess not.

Just add that line of code to /system/csc/feature.xml
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102651
Unfortunately you need to be rooted to edit feature.xml.

Perfect thanks! Before I go and do that, is it as simple as using Root Explorer, finding feature.xml and adding that line in?

Yup. Just add it in the "Message" section. Actually anywhere is fine, but if you add it as the last line in the message section you will be able to easily find it again.

I just went to do this but I don't have a feature file in that location which was my original problem... I thought you had given the correct location for the file on the S3. Any ideas where it would be?
I just looked at others.xml in system/csc and there is similar language to the other hacks listed in that thread.
Does anyone know if that is the correct place for out S3s?

I've been scouring the forums and this question has come up multiple times but I couldn't find an actual answer. I did find a post from the [2012] Nexus 7 forums asking the same question and the OP found the answer but didn't detail it.

Update:
Tried flashing an AOKP keyboard and it went haywire. Haha. Had to Disable it from settings.
Heads up.
