Hey Guys,
Is it in any way possible to connect my Galaxy note to my Samsung tv, so that i can see exactly whats being displayed on the phone screen?
It may be silly, but my 3 year old son wants to play games on the tv with the accelerometer from the phone?
So i thought i could maybe connect the phone to my tv with a usb to hdmi cable, and display whats on the screen on my tv at the same time?
If such a cable exists, could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance...

Works great. Note that unless your TV supports the MHL standard (and very few do), you will have to supply microUSB power to the cable (i.e. using the phone charger).

My TV has a USB socket which provides power so I hook that up so my MHL cable and don't need to bring anymore equipment to the TV (power adapters/battery packs)
Hi everybody, I've got sort of an unique situation. I have the HTC One X international version that i would like to hook up to my my TV so i can watch Netflix's on it, however the TV is ancient. What i need to know is if its possible to go from the HOX's video out to RCA plugs and if so how? Also i was wondering if there's any way to hook it up via wireless connection instead of running cables, such as Bluetooth or wifi on the phone to a receiver that would plug into the TV or DVD players RCA plugs. I also want to be able to hook it up to my friends flat screen, but for that ill just go pick up a micro USB to HDMI adapter i believe. Thanks in advance...

I thought my aftv 2nd gen was bricked, but the HDMI port is the real culprit. I have tried like 6 different TV and 5 different HDMI cables. How did I come to this conclusion? The fire TV is Ethernet connected and when I opened the fire TV remote app on my phone, fire TV showed up?.
Now the real problem. I can't find a replacement part for this device. Where can I get HDMI port for aftv 2nd gen? Are there other non amazon devices I can desolder it from?
