I have this phone lg optimus G from T Mobile. I've been searching and searching places to find custom ROM support and or how to root it I have the 10 g version so I need to find a way to reverse it back to 10 e or something so I can root it. there doesn't seem to be much information about the T Mobile version of this phone. What you see in the "LG Optimus G Android developement" section is what you get. There isnt much going on with this phone yet honestly.

Soo im going to my self a new device tomorow and got my eye on the optimus g and nexus 4

On one hand i get all the latest and greatest and i like the stock android rather than lg's ui and with the optimus g i get LTE and an extra 16 gb of storage...
I also have some concernes... Ive seen complaints on the web about the optimus g overheating.. Any of you experiencing it ?
Lg ui gesture is the most fluid and smooth ui.far better than tw and sense.not so much bloat and most of those apps you will find them useful.we already have 4.2.2,with almost no bugs,but it can be a daily driver.i don't have heating problems and i'm a power user,runing this phone like crazy.didn't notice to get hotter than my previous devices.
The only advantage of n4 is the vanilla.but g is over n4 on every other aspect.better cpu,better camera,bigger storage,even microsd slot in some cases.
Of course the final call is yours.

Ok so i got myself a Optimus g and you say it allready has 4.2.2 i ran the software update and it says its up to date with 4.1.2 í Have the international version.

A stock OG only has 4.1.2 at the moment. You can flash a custom rom after rooting and unlocking and get 4.2.2 though.
I may be wrong but before I flashed a 4.2 ROM yesterday, the last update put me up to 4.1.2.

So far I havent heard anything about it. If you do decide to flash a rom I reccomend http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2228880
I've been using it since yesterday morning and its been nothing but awesome. I'm sure you do know that unlocking bootloaders and rooting voids warranty so it is a use at your own risk method.
The modded rom i'm on is a modded version of the stock lg optimus g pro with the optimus ui. It is made to be similar to the g2. You can find it in the andorid development section of the lg optimus pro. I'm not getting any 4G with the rom as of yet and the network connection turn on and off in places where I'm 100% sure that there should be a mobile data connetion. Help please!

Did u try restoring ur data from ur backup of ur previous stock ROM? That should take care of it.

Hello everyone. I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I'm kinda new here. I have an AT&T LG Optimus G Pro[e-980] and recently flashed the newest CandyKat rom for it. The description for the rom says it has MultiWindow , but I can't figure out how to use it. I've tried holding the back button but guess that isnt ir. Can someone please help? Thanks

After some searching I do not see many links between the G Pad 7.0 & the 8.3 on terms of ROMs, kernels, etc.
Is there any compatibility between the two? So different and so few that 7.0 support is not worth Dev investment?

I have both and they are totally different devices. The 7.0 is basically a nexus 7 2012 with an SD card. Less RAM, slower processor and lower resolution than the 8.3. Still a nice little device that you can pick up for a good price but it is not the same as a V500/510.
I too would like cyanogenmod on my VK410.

Have you rooted our vk410 if so how as I am trying to root it an have had no luck in finding anything about the vk410...its like this device is a ghost...

Same i got the att version from the free offer and can't find anything on it. From this thread I finally found out the codename (v400?)
