Make a hard reset and see if it is like when u installed it 3months back. It should be unless u made changes to /system.
If u find it good after hard reset then the issue must be due to the 3rd party apps u installed.

Hi All,
I have 1 issue here where my Desire HD Keep Freezing while use. Whenever Im using any application, getting worse when play game etc.
Briefly, I can consider myself a heavy flasher, I like to test any new ROMs available here untill I got my SDCard full. To have clean SDCard, I formatted everything including SDCard using 4EXT. After the new ROMs flashed, I notice I got my phone freeze. All softkey and touchscreen not responding. But if I press power button off and on again (not reboot), all functioning well untill it got freeze again. Then I have to press the power button again.
These are few things that I've done suggested from google:
1. Enable USB debugging
2. Reinsert SDCard
3. Reformat SDCard through phone (not 4EXT) - in stock ROMs
4. Revert to stock.
It comes to my mind that this is related to rooting. So I revert everything to stock. format using stock ROMs. But the problem persist.
Need all expert and senior here to suggest anything that I can do to get my phone back. I missed killing my time by playing games on my DHD.
Thx in advance...
have you tried JB ?????????/

I am extremely sorry. . .
Flshing jb willnt solve ur problem. .
I was collecting info frm u as u r a flashaholic. . .
When ever I lock my screen, my data will drop resulting in me not able to receive any updates from any apps. I use whatsapp and messenger as my main form of communication, and I do not know when people message me as the data drops. As soon as I turn my screen on, the signal bar turns blue, and all my messages comes through.
I have tried reflashing several kernels and ROMS, but they all do the same thing.
Will wiping the SD card every time i flash a new ROM cause this issue? I have tried everything and nothing works.
Please heeelp
Thaanksss
Do you have battery saver turned on perhaps?. Sounds like its set to disable data while screen is off. Power menu in settings should sort you out

But there is nothing, no apps nothing. I just flashed the ROm and only installed whatsapp.
It still does that. The radio and mobile network works fine so it probably is not a hardware issue.
Battery saver is not an app, its a setting within the power menu, settings/power/power saver. You then have the option to to turn off various things when the phone sleeps. I'm on viperx 3.5.5 but most Roms will be similar to reach the battery saver settings

From your previous posts it looks like you've had this problem in January with a nexus using cyanogen ?. Strange that you have the same problem on 2 entirely different devices, maybe its something to do with the way you're flashing....

That is exactly my worry.
The way i flash is wipe sd card, then flash the kernel via fastboot then flash the ROM chosen.
Now i am not wiping SD card, just making a full wipe. Is there a way to fix this error? I locked and unlocked my bootloader, upgraded my hboot and it still doesnt work. What can i do :3
Don't flash the Kernel first sheesh !!
Do all neccessary wipes e.g. Cache/Dalvik
Flash the ROM.
Boot
Let it boot then back to recovery
Flash Kernel
Boot

Oh, i see,
Thanks for you reply and i will try that out tomorrow!
Not sure if you've already tried this or not, but check this out
go to settings / data usage
flip your mobile data on / off
choose settings, enable Data Roaming, not to worry, your going to turn it off again right away
wait a few secs for it to 'take, then settings disable data roaming, now reboot the phone
hope this helps!

Why don't you try latest viperx, I'm using it and I know everything is working straight from flashing without having to change any settings. Maybe it can help with your camera problem too. If that doesn't help then only option really is back to stock and try get it changed or repaired under warranty and hope they don't notice that its been relocked. Sounds like you bought a bad one though if the camera and radio are faulty.

I actually this time have no idea what happened to this phone, but after reinstalling the OS the phone's camera began to work... Up until a day later it stopped working again. So i moved on from CM10.1 to Blackout ICS, which went well I suppose, up until two days later it died again, it just goes to a black screen when launching the camera app, if i have music playing that will stop, and the phone will be unable to play music for a minute or so, im touching on reformatting the SD Card, but before i do that i want to know if theres any ways to get the camera going again, and if theres any hardware faults (which is unlikely because when it works it works perfectly)

Yes, it still freezes at a black screen, because of the mods applied to my Rom, reinstalling the os is a bit of pain because I have to apply them again

Well it seems then that one of your mods is to blame.
have you attempted to install your Rom without your mods?

I think you misunderatood the question, if one of your mods are causing the problems, do you know which one? If yes then why do you install it? If no then reinstall the rom with no mods at allfor a few days then add one of the mods and wait a few more days to see if everythings ok and keep doing that until you can identify which mod is causing the problem. Id do a nandroid before installing each mod. Once identified the mod thats the issue, restore the bavkup from just before it was installed and dont reapply the mod, either do without it or look for an alternative

Hi,
Before the last update on my HTC One X, audio was fine. Playing videos, ringtones and notifications, playing games, music, whatever... since I received the last update with Sense 5, although all my volumes are at maximum you can hardly hear it.
When plugging in the headset I get the audio as loud as I want.
I know the speaker on HTC One X is not that good, but still - I had no problem hearing my phone ring before...
I tried everything I could find, I cannot change a thing.
Did someone experience this specifically after an update ? (apparently some people complained about the loudness of that phone before - did HTC go a little bit too far fixing that ?)
Do you think this could be solved by flashing with Revolution HD ? (which I wanted to do since it works brilliantly on my Note II)
nobody ?

Thanks for the replies... I was only able to try things out saturday because I didn't have the phone at home...
It wasn't rooted yet, but that's done now. I flashed it with cwm recovery and Revolution HD 31.3.
During the installation, R-HD suggested the installation of PureXaudio - which I selected. There was still no change, the maximum volume of the phone is still very low.
So I checked the post for it, downloaded the mods pureXaudio and xLOUD to install them manually from recovery - still no change. I don't find anything in the settings either concerning those mods, so I don't really know what to do next. The post also states it's system wide, that nothing needs to be done for it to be effective...
Continuing my reading I came across some posts advising to modify some file in the system folder, but I can't retrieve that file. I tried by connecting the phone as media storage, I also browsed the phone's system folders with ES File Explorer - no luck.
I also checked the posts for viper4audio but I can't figure what I have to do exactly... I must say I read it rapidly 'cause I needed to go... but I do have the phone with me now, so I can try everything out.
pureXaudio seems to be a quality enhancer -- I should say, the quality is not the issue, it's really the volume.
Question : with those mods installed, shouldn't I be able to activate Beats Audio again, even without headphones ? Because I still can't...
I hope some of you can tell me if I did something wrong, or didn't do something I should have... installation of those mods didn't change a thing for me (apparently).
I'm about to flash with other ROMs to see if something changes - I'm open to all suggestions.
And as for AudioX - I suppose it was pureXaudio because I can't fine anything called AudioX in the Play Store or even by Googling it.
Beats is for headset only.
Sound like you need to clean the speak out, I would suggest opening it and cleaning from inside out but you can do it from the outside if you rather.
A tooth brush as the best way to go about it

Well I thought about the speaker, but it's unlikely. I'll try anyway, just to get that out the way, but it was still going fine before the last update...
By the way, I just tried cm-10.1.3-endeavoru - I didn't have sound at all (neither did I have wifi or bluetooth... nevermind though, that's not my current problem)
I'm back to Revolution HD now... made sure pureXaudio was installed again - still no change.
Before switching ROMs I used ROM-Cleaner and wiped all data, cache, dalvik cache...

I wiped with CWM recovery every time... do you think wiping through fastboot would change anything regarding sound ?
Now I'm looking into flashing it with an earlier stock rom nandroid backup (from a thread found here in the forum) - but the one I tried earlier didn't take. I downloaded another (even slightly older) version which I still need to try out.
I also apologize regarding the earlier "AudioX" suggestion : there is indeed an AudioX mod available, one of which every one seems to be happy - unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have any effect on mine
I'm starting to wonder if installing those mods really has any effect. I'm using CWM - which I'm told is OK for all those mods (installations do succeed), but I also noticed most people are using TFWP(?) - so I'll start looking into switching from CWM to TFWP if the earlier stock roms don't help.
did you figure it out?
