No Thread for LiquidSmooth 4.2.2 RC1 Toro - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I'm currently running the LiquidSmooth 4.2.2 RC1 ROM for my Vzw Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Toro). I see the threads created for other devices but not the Toro.
Running great so far but would love a place for discussions on what few bugs people are able to find to help with the next build.
Found bugs:
Crash when opening LiquidSmooth Settings for lockscreen
Goo Manager is appearing as pre-installed but can't be found on the phone outside of Manage Apps and can't be uninstalled or installed over.

Both of those issues confirmed for me. Also FC when trying to set up swiftkey
Workaround for this: restore swiftkey using TB, then go into the settings and set swiftkey as your input device.

Agreed - i noticed exactly the same with RC1. As well I noticed:
- about -> status -> phone number not showing
- about -> status -> bluetooth address not showing
I also tried RC2 and after rebooting I got a polish (i think that was the language) message, that would not go away (no matter how many times i pressed 'ok'). So i reverted back to RC1.

[APP][GUIDE] Whatsapp for CM10/AKOP/JB-ASOP

DOWNLOAD HERE - www.whatsapp.com/android/
Many people keep flooding AKOP / CMX threads with request for Whatsapp because it won't show on the Play store due to incompatibility with JB.
1. Download the .APK from the provided address above
2. Copy it to your SD card / Internal storage
3. Go to settings -> Security -> Enable "Unknown Sources"
4. Install the .APK from your SD Card / Internal Storage.
5. Open ROM manager and run Fix Permissions
6. Reboot
Note :
The App is NOT compatible with JELLYBEAN as of the date of this post (31st Aug), go bug the developer to fix this issue.
You can contact the Dev here : http://www.whatsapp.com/contact/
Code:
Can a mod make this a sticky ?
It's AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and AOKP (Android Open Kang Project). If people would just use the search function in the threads, this wouldn't be necessary; however the type of people who don't search would probably not see this anyway.
I don't really see any of the functionalities of the app to be incompatible with Jelly Bean, it seems just to be the developer not bothering to update the compatibility list.
One X to rule them all.

This is just another reason why you shouldn't bother with WhatsApp. I've never touched it since I heard about the private data leak and messages being sent in plain text, and besides there are so many great alternatives out there, like GroupMe or Kik Messenger.
Btw, cool sig you got there, mate:good:

No PA settings showing?

Hello, I have a grouper, nexus 7 2012 wifi, android 4.4.2, unlocked and rooted and I have just flashed PA 4.0 BETA as it is the only download shown on the ParanoidAndroid.co website download section.
Anyway, all seemed to go well, no errors and my nexus booted correctly:
About Tablet shows: ParanoidAndroid Version 4.0-BETA, Build number - pa_grouper-userbug 4.4.2 KOT49H....
However, I can not for the life of me see any PA settings in "Settings". There is an app called Paranoid OTA but this seems to be concerned with keeping PA upto date.
Can anyone suggest where the PA settings are, how to enable them or what is going wrong please?
Any help appreciated.

Please refer to the change log for currently available custom options and where they are located.
With the 4.4 update, the ROM is being rebuilt from the ground up. As this is the initial release, the standard PA features are not yet included as they are still being worked on.

net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE errors with browsers
Hello,
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S3 - I9300 (International Variant) with Cyanogenmod Version 11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-I9300
I have tried in different browsers (Google Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Next Browser) with all these I'm getting the errors (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE). Sometimes it is way to frequent making the mobile unusable.
I have searched for solutions but nothing has worked for me till now. Have raised a ticket with CM and link for the same is https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/CYAN-5628
If you are having the same issues, please share your comments on the jira.
If you were able to fix the issue apart from doing things like clearing Dalvik cache, turning off 2 step authentication, editing access points, reinstalling CM or using a different browser please let me know.
I have done the above said things but still encounter the error randomly on multiple webpages, even some pages images or videos not get loaded. Have to do multiple refresh.
Will appreciate any help.
Cheers,
Prasi

Not sure what's going on with CM and the lack of NIGHTLY updates the past couple of days, but it is unusual for them.
I ran into the GPS issue with my Sprint S3 (SPH-L710) as a result of flashing one of the October NIGHTLY builds. I don't use GPS every day so I'm not sure how or why it stopped functioning. I had to flash the stock ND8 ROM (after a complete wipe), then opened up Androsensor and locked 22 satellites immediately. I rebooted into Recovery, ran a complete wipe of the phone, then flashed the Cm11-20141013 d2lte nightly and rebooted. GPS was fixed, locked 22 satellites with Androsensor, same as I did on the stock ND8 ROM. I opened a NIGHTLY regression issue but it was closed since the same issue was open for the M11 stable build.
Tap and Pay
Are there any plans to get tap and pay to work on d2lte? Google wallet is listed in the tap and pay settings, but the phone does not respond when held up to a payment terminal.

The cm team is aware of the tap and pay issue its in the current bug list on cm site we'll have to wait n see if they fix it

Hi, I am essentially the CM team for this phone. Until open source pn544 HCE code becomes available we will not support it for this phone.

Couple of Issues with cm12.1 - Clock Stopped and GPS
cm12.1 - Moving this question to the proper thread!!!
Has anyone encountered any "clock stopped" errors when working with various apps?
Also some of the weather apps can't seem to obtain location from my GPS even though it is enabled. Anyone have similar issues?
default gps. conf file in /etc uses a testing time server. if you comment out that line with # and uncomment the time server for your region, gps may lock more reliably and quicker.

Can anyone confirm that their GPS works at all? I can't get my GPS to work. It gets no satellites in GPS Test app on the Play Store. It can only acquire location by wifi scan, not GPS satellites. I have the Nexus 7 2013 32GB (flo) running CM12 without root or mods.
GPS not working
What with navbar settings? They ve disappeared
Having issues with Bluetooth and GPS here. Bluetooth is working but with lots of skipping. its not my player or my music stream. Same song plays fine with headphone and N7 speakers. And I also have totally lost my GPS, didn’t even notice until I checked with GPS Checker.
For having a working GPS you need to install another kernel until cm has fixed it.
I installed this one and gps work's just fine.

Won't Boot with SuperSu by Chainfire
Hi all, I have issues booting after updating from nightly to nightly. Here's the situation:
After updating from any CM12 nightly to a newer CM12 nightly, my tablet gets stuck on the boot splash screen (the one where it says Google and has the lock icon at the bottom) and I can't boot at all. I have tracked the issue to SuperSu by ChainFire. My SuperSu settings are attached below. Is this just me or is it everyone else too? If it is just me is there any way to fix it permanently rather than wiping /system and needing to re-flash everything all over again?
If you lost mobile data or gps sensors, please try this zip.
mod_bootcmd_selinux_permissive.zip
is simple zip to add "androidboot.selinux=permissive" to kernel boot command line.
mod_bootcmd_selinux_noneperm.zip
is revert permissive zip.
Thanks.
Cyanogenmod = Awesome !
I was disappointed with 1.23 nightly though 1.24 fixed it up, hoping that some apps that come with Cyanogen like the music player get a landscape setup; irritating that it rotates back to portrait. Nexus 7's a tablet! ,content is best in landscape hoping you guys could work on it
1.30 Interface issue
On last nightly (1.30) i found a bug in interface in horizantal view. Buttons (menu, back option) are not drawn correctly .

Missing Notification Drawer Setting on Unofficial Cyanogenmod 13.0 for d2att

Been a long time viewer of the site, finally decided to sign up, I have installed many Custom roms, in the past, I cant seem to ever want to stay with Vanilla. I think everyone does a great job with their work
Since I am new and unable to post in the Unofficial Cyanogenmod 13.0 for d2att thread, I am posting here.
I currently installed the Unofficial Cyanogenmod 13.0 for d2att on my d2can. Rom works great, but I am having an issue editing my Tiles in the Notification area. As per the thread I was told to go to Settings > Notification Drawer, but that does not exist. There is no options for Notification Drawer anywhere in settings, only thing that I can choose that's notification related is Sound & Notification, and Drawer is not in that option.
Maybe my install of the Rom was not complete and caused the option to be missing, unless I am missing an option to enable?
Any help would be appreciated.
I have moved on from the Unofficial Cyanogenmod 13.0, as I was not getting the options I needed, as well as app compatibility issues.
