I've tried it but the result is still the same slow internet connection, maybe I better downgrade to gb again
Your problem must be caused by some upgrade error or one of your apps or modifications. Wipe everything, flash newest firmware with a flashtool, reformat your sdcard and start fresh.

I have a locked bootloader -_- so i cant root afterwards
Please help me i m noob to this i have rooted my xperia play via super one click root. and installed titanium backup and removed bloatware like "videos and music", "track ID" , and some games. I m on android 2.3.4 stock non unlocked bootloader untouched kernel ETC . want to ask if factory reset wont make my phone malfunctioning. Also unrooting via same software used to root and then factory reset will make it malfunction. please answer my both question cause i will prefer the first option .. I have read a lot over internet that rooting and factory reset ruins the phone . And have anyone tried this before.
Bhai factory reset means it'll wipe your data games etc. It'll not malfunction phone at all. And you can unroot via superone click

Dude m asking wheter the bloatware wont create any problem dat i hav removed , while doing factory reset.
As long as you didn't delete any important core apps, you should be fine to factory reset
No, bloatware will not cause any prob. But it should be bloatware only and not imp system app as said by jaklebott. If you got any prob. You can easily flash stock again via flashtool. So don't worry

Can u plz tell me wat are framework file. Name plz
Framework is framework.
In noob speak: Those are files that are needed to stay at where they are. Deleting can cause bootloop, or other negative probs.

Okay So I flashed firmware .58 via flashtool and rooted it then got cmw v5 and flashed NxT lite rom except nMobile Data isnt working now and when I activate mobile data via setting nothing happens.
Also when i was flashing firmware even though I have installed drivers 2-3 times flashtool kept asking me to install drivers , anyway so I got it working once somwhoew to flash the firmware but I checked ' Exclude Baseband ' along with exclude kernel . Could that be the issue ?:s Should I flash firmware again ?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Have you tried opening your browser using your mobile data? You may need to download the settings

It always takes settings automatically . Anyway I went ahead and flashed custom firmware again ( this time i flashed baseband too although i dont think that was the issue ) and mobile data is working:s .Although I am pretty sure I did everything right last time around too but I donno why mobile data wasnt working , any ideas ? Or maybe I should try to flash the rom again and check again ?.
I don't know but If you've got everything working now, I'd just keep it that way

Yeah I tried that before but dint work . So anyway i reflashed the Rom and checked with my operator and they asked me to create new apn by a specific name :s and it works . So wasnt Rom issue or anything as such.
Btw , I was curious how do so many people have around 275 mb Ram free with this Rom ? I have only got 220 mb ram free :s
Ram pfft doesn't really matter about all ways having like 275 mb of free ram you don't need that much free all the time as long as you close a few apps before playing big 3d games like gta vc and mc4 you should be good

Flashtool and flash gingerbread again. If you wish, you can keep your data by unticking Wipe data, Wipe Cache and Wipe Apps Log.
Or if you have unlocked bootloader, you can use Sony EMMA (Sony's own flash tool, works only with unlocked bootloader) to reinstall Gingerbread.
I think wipe should be useful. Flash GB again and wipe your phone. Do it with Flashtool. Also you'll use your data, so make a backup before.

I'm currently using exitenz rom but I also experienced it on stock jb. 96
Sent from my Xperia Slow LT26i
I had this as well but after installing a rom
Ways i fixed my problem
Replaced the apk with a stock one(semcmusic.apk) wiped dalvik and cache after replacing apk
Reinstalling rom wiping data and cache
Using a stock rom with my own mods
Im quite sure the apk is the cause of the issue

I've downloaded a lot of apps and games that has data so I don't like to wipe data and cache
Sent from my Xperia Slow LT26i
Back up and try reflashing and resetting for a day or two and then if you have this issue then you know its the SemcMusic.apk
Delete the apk
Reboot recovery
Wipe dalvik and cache
Copy a apk working or stock apk to your system or
To the flashable zip (use xplore from google play)
Reflash wipe dalvik and cache
And if the problem still is there then use a different rom and if still persists then you will have to do a data wipe
Try exploring
What ive told you here is ways i fixed my problem or ways i would fix
Someone else may be able to help you
