Weird battery problem!!! Help please - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I am on paranoid and recently i have been facing some weird battery problems
Whenever my battery gets discharged into 0% and turns off and i connect my charger, It says its charging bt battery stats are stuck at 0% no matter how long i charge. So disconnecting the charger causes instant power off.
But when i withdraw my battery and relplace it again and restart my phone... It shows 5-10% charged which means it was getting charged while it was stuck at 0%..any help guys?

[Q] HTC Desire - Battery cannot be fully charged

Hi All,
I have been using my Desire for the past month. One thing I noticed after I rooted and upgraded my phone to 2.2 is, the battery cannot be charged to 100%!?
I had plugged my phone to a wall charger and let it charge overnight. When I woke up the LED on the phone is green but the battery widget says the phone is only 96% charged. Regardless how long I left my phone plugged to the charger, I still have 96% only.
A temporary solution for this issue is to unplug the phone, switch it off, and charge it again. The LED will become amber when I plugged in, and turns green after 30 more minutes of charging.
Is it normal? Or is it ROM-related? I have read the batter calibration thread and followed the instruction, but it doesn't solve my problem.
Thanks for the help in advance.
yes i think its in the default kernel.
I have the same problem
It charges to 100% but then stop charging untill the batt hits 90% then charges again
In the past i have the same question...here is the answer
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=748700
Thanks!

Battery Issues (calibration?)

Hey XDA, I just purchased a new AT&T SGS3 and I'm having some issues with the battery on the phone.
When I charge the phone overnight it charges to 100% then when I unplug it, the battery drops tremendously in about 5 seconds down to anywhere from 50%-75%. I tried manually recalibrating the battery by charging it 8+ hours, removing the battery, charging again while off, charging it again while on, then restarting. That seemed to work for one charge and the battery acted the way that it would have on my Nexus S.
However charging it again after a full battery drain, the same thing happened.
Also when the phone is low on battery, it displays the normal battery messages, but then the screen stays on, draining the battery faster.
Solutions? I want the root the phone, but only after I have these issues sorted out. (I'm still under warranty right now)

Did you try a reset of the phone through the settings ? After that try charging to 100% then drain completely and then recharging without break then use the phone mormally and try to recharge only when it hits 10% remaining for the next 2 or 3 charge cycles and see if that helps

Looks like a bad device. I would send it in if i were you.

Battery weirdness since last system update.

So my phone battery has been acting crazy since the last update. First it dropped to 0% instantly from a 30 or 40% a weeks ago and just now it went from 20% to 0 in a second. The battery doesn't seem to be bulging. So before I buy a new one, has anyone else had weird issues? Just now I was charging it and decided to take out the battery. It jumped from 14% to 55% charge instantly from reinserting the battery.

It's a bad battery. There have been many people coming on here describing your same symptoms, but it doesn't matter what update they're on. In the end, it always turned out to be a bad battery.
So it's not an update issue.

I have had same issues and I noticed it's beacuse I was charging my phone via portable power bank.
When this happens I just drain battery dead, recharge phone to 100% while its turned OFF.
Unplug the cable, turn it on, if it doesn't show 100%, I just plug the charger again to refill it to 100%.
After that for several chargers no problem, it goes slowly to 1% and then dies on 0%

Problems with battery

Hi, I picked up my phone from repair shop a week ago and since then when my battery goes below 55% i get message that battery is 0% and phone is shutting down, and then I put it on charger and sometimes it starts recharging from 1% but sometimes from 55% and if i charge it to 60% it works normally, but when i charge it to 100% it turns off on 55%, can someone help me please is it problem in software or maybe it is problem in battery?

It sounds very much like this:

I replaced the battery and it's been working well for a few months now.
Battery drop from 50 % to 0 %
I had the same issue.
After force shut down (power + vol-up for 10 sec), the battery went back to normal.

EDIT :
That was a short lifesaver, battery is "fubar".
Guys , maybe there's something wrong with the battery charging in Amami . I have two Z1C, one of which normally charge up to 100 %. But the other charges the battery to 100% only in Stock 4.4.4 ... In all versions of Lollipop (stock or not) battery charges to 82% ... Calibration of the battery does not help. I replaced the battery - no change. I tried another powerful charger by Samsung - without effect. Anybody have an idea what's going on ?

Strange battery issue

When I disconnect my phone from the charger it drops from 100% to 95% in about 15 minutes without using it.
From then on it stops and battery drain is normal.
Any ideas?
Try calibrating the battery. Deplete battery to zero let the phone turn off by itself then connect the charger while your phone is switched off. Unplug when fully charged (100%)
