[Q] Roms that combine Touchwiz & AOSP - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I really like the look of aosp and the features of TW. I would get fixed up on one for a week and then think that I was missing out on a feature of the other. I'm looking for a ROM that bridges that gap. A Rom with aosp look and TW features. Any suggestions?

question for those who flashed AOSP roms

Have you missed the s-pen features when moving over to these roms? Does the s-pen become a paperweight inside of the phone once you flash one of these roms or can it retain SOME functionality?
thanks
this is the first time on any phone for me i struggled in the transition from TW or other manufacturers ui to AOSP. even jelybam, an awesome all in one!

[Q] Closest thing to "Project AOSP" for Sprint Note II?

I've been looking around and I don't see much here in the way of hybrid ROMs like Project AOSP (Note II ROM with TouchWiz almost completely removed or hidden)
It seems to be pretty either/or. The problem with that is, while CM/Paranoid Android are decent ROMs, they're missing things and still have issues (call volume, Bluetooth issues, etc) and while TouchWiz is fully-functional it's ugly as sin and the menus/settings are nowhere near as good as CM/PA's
Are there any good TW-less ROMs for our Sprint variant of the Note II or am I stuck with the Nova/Apex band-aid that doesn't get rid of TouchWiz' ugly dialer, settings and menus?
edit: NoWizAOSP is close, but it seems Project AOSP is a lot more stock-complete.
Try jellybeans rom, mackentosh ported build 5 from verizon note 2 to our phones. Recently I flashed beanstown's "jellybeans" rom build 17 which is based on the 4.1.2 ota from verizon. Its much more updated and stable and uses aroma to let you choose if you want aosp and or twiz features. Heres a couple pics of my phone..

Sounds to me, you have more an issue with aesthetics of the stock rom, more than function. You may be better served by looking for rethremed stock apps, such as the dailer. I assume you have issues with some of the bloat, but have enough knowledge to remove it with something like Titanium Backup.
Personally, TouchWiz doesn't bother me. I'm going more to a minimalist approach. I'm down to one home screen page. I just use a few folders for categories of apps I use frequently. No widgets. On another note, I really haven't like all the themes people are using with their roms. Not that they don't look nice; just doesn't appeal to me.

[Q] Any way to install air gestures from stock S4 ROM into Aosp ROM?

The title says it all. Is there any way to install all of the air-gestures from the stock s4 ROM onto my s4 with my new AOSP ROM? I really enjoyed all of the air gestures, and I'd love to have them on my aosp ROM. Help?

Currently there is no way to install air gestures or any of the other nice features of stock s4 roms.
AOSP/AOKP/CM10 types of roms all lack the bells and whistles which make our phones so excellent.
For starters compare the cameras, not only does the user interface of the aosp/aokp/cm10 camera look
home made compared to the stock MDL rom but it's missing a lot of the new features in it's setting too.
Then see if you can find any of the "S" features in any of the AOSP/AOKP/CM10 roms.
Not really the original air gestures, but..

[Q] TouchWiz And S Pen Support

Currently I'm running NB4 and 4.4.2. I'm running AOSP with Slimkat, and multiple apps to make the S Pen usable again. However, I'm looking to switch to TouchWiz but I'm wondering if there is ROM compatible with my device that has an AOSP theme. Or perhaps the UI is just different enough to not look like TouchWiz. I'm trying to get full S Pen Support just like stock, so those apps need to come with the ROM. Also if it's debloated that would be great too in addition to having 4k recording and a great camera app.
I've looked around in our forums but need some suggestions, this isn't a which is the best thread, it's looking for TouchWiz ROMS that may have different theme options close to AOSP, compatible with my device, and all the features and apps from stock. I was interested in X Note, but apparently it's not supported on our device.
Thank you for your time.
Would this work?

Thinking of using AOSP.

So I'm thinking of going on AOSP, but I don't like AOSP UI and I like BlinkFeed (I am aware of the app Flipboard), but the overall UI is not smooth and I get lags occasionally (which I why I want to try AOSP). I have just two questions, (Compared to ROMs with Sense UI) Is the overall performance & battery life better? Do you like the AOSP UI?
Also: I'm thinking of using CyanogenMod, which build is the most recent and stable? (please provide link)
comparing roms are not allowed....try bunch of roms and feel free to use which you like.. there are plenty of AOSP roms...
you can use flinkfeed(a part of sense 6) on AOSP rom..search it and you will get it..
CM11 m12 is latest build. link
