I buyed i9100 about 3 weeks ago, and i know that s2 supports hdmi trough mhl, but i'm not shure does s2 supports simple tv out cable(RCA 3.5mm), i tried to connect my tv and s2 and nothing happends.. I saw on internet that peoples selling RCA cables and saying it works with s2 but i also noticed that they have some kind of covertor on cable, here are some pics of my RCA cable an here is a link where i saw RCA cable for s2, so my question is: How i can manage my phone to output phone screen on my tv with this cable(it it's possible)?

nope. it doesn't work, that feature is only present on the galaxy s1. the s2 only supports mhl out through the micro usb and with an hdmi connection.
Ok, i was hoping that this might work because my tv doesn't supports hdmi

The S2 dont have analog output, only have digital output MHL HDMI.
This cable is presumably for IPod video or some device that has Analog Video OUT.
and its have sound because they are plugged into the audio output.
Sorry for my English (Google Translated)
Do you know what is the solution for that? Should I buy a sort of converter or something else?
Buy an sgs1 off eBay for £20 second hand yes£20 I couldn't believe it either there very cheap now. It does what you want I have both sgs1 and sgs2 never sold the sgs1 because it has this feature also has one of the best sound chips of any mobile phone .

Recently purchased the 11 pin Samsung MHL adapter for my new at&t note 2. I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV. When I connect the adapter to my TV I get the message "hdml cable connected" but see a blank(black) screen on my TV. The phone shows the charging status so I know the power is connected. I also have a note 1(5 pin MHL) phone and an older adapter(5 pin) that works just fine with the same TV. This kinda proves that the HDMI cable that runs through the TV to the adapter is also fine because it can stream with my note 1 without problems. I can only think of 2 possibilities : Sony Bravia is not compatible with Note 2 MHL or I have a faulty adapter(more likey ?).
I also tried rebooting the note 2 just to be sure.
Any pointers ?
Thanks !
sorry to see that no one has answered this. had hdmi working perfectly on my evo 3d. same adapter not responding at all on my gfs note1 and the same black screen issue on my note 2. hope to find a solution soon. Ill follow up if I find a solution.

Hey! When I connect my Note 2 to my TV monitor i seem to be getting pretty low refreshrates on the tv screen (I seem to be getting 30Hz) Im just asking because this is noticable when playing some games or even watching movies. Is there any way to fix this or is it because of my TV monitor? When i connect a regular pc with hdmi everything seems to run fine.
Think it might be my screen that is the problem, it worked better on my brothers screen. Still not perfect though. Any ideas?
hdmi needs power supply to run smooth. .do you use the original adapter that comes with power connection port?
scribbled from my note 2 (N7100)

hi all dears,

2M MHL Adapter Micro USB HDMI Cable For Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100

So my problem starts when i want to play games(some videos also) the screen just goes and after some time it comes back but only for 2 seconds.
I dont know y its happening,pls help.
hi guys,
i am also facing the same problem with MHL adapter. i tried to connect my galaxy note n7000 to sony bravia 3d tv via MHL but failed to do so. whenever i connect MHL to HDMI Cable to tv and to phone nothing happened and not even my phone or tv show any sign of connection or any notification regarding that. my phone not even show the battery charging sign. i also used 3d HDMI cable for the connection but nothing came out.... and when the vender (from whom i purchased the MHL) gave me the demo the same MHL was working fine with his HDMI cable and tv but the cable and tv he used were not 3D whereas i have a 3D tv. i dont understand why i am not able to connect the MHL adapter using 3D HDMI cable to my Sony Bravia 40HX750 3D tv with my Galaxy Note n7000. still struggling with that.... any reply in this regard will be appreciated.... thanx.
