Printing from the note 2 - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I connected my hp deskjet d2668 usb printer to my note 2 via the OTG cable and it got detected. When I tried printing a .doc file, using printershare it ask me to download a 4 mb file driver. I downloaded it and the printer got detected. So far so good. I pressed print and the file got transferred to the printer and I got a msg saying that the job is done, but the printer failed to print the doc.
However when I connected the printer to my laptop and printed the same file, it started printing without any hiccups. So the issue is not with the printer.
Anybody have any idea what can be done to rectify this.
And one more thing... I can however send a file to my laptop from my phone via printershare and print it when the printer is connected to the laptop.
It would have been really wonderful if I can bypass the laptop and print directly from my phone.

I can't help you with your specific issues, but owning a HP All-in-one, I know their software and drivers are an absolute pain.
Therefore I use CloudPrint instead, works like a charm!

[Q] Correct pin-out for DIY "Car Dock" cable?

Hi all, I was hoping to find some information that would shed light on this issue.
Way back, when I still owned a Galaxy Note 1, I followed the steps outlined in this thread to make a "Car Dock" cable that would take audio signal from USB while charging the device. It worked perfectly.
However, it doesn't seem to work with the Note 2. Samsung must have changed the pin-outs, or perhaps the required resistor is no longer a 619k.
Does anybody know what might be the correct way to DIY this?
Thanks in advance!

Check the accessories forums here and AT&T. I know I've seen mention of people doing the same thing for the 2 and discussing which pins and resistors.

[Q] Galaxy Note 10.1 as monitor (hdmi input)

I am wondering if i can use my galaxy note 10.1 as hdmi monitor
like connect it to my digital receiver and receive output of receiver on my tablet to use it as tv
thanks
Well, you should ask the GN10.1 forum. I'm not familiar with the device, but I haven't heard of any mobile devices with hdmi inputs. Thus, no.
I would looked into DNLA if your receiver supports it.

Note 2 hdmi to micro usb lag

So I finaly got my hdmi to micro usb to connect my Note 2 to my samsung smart tv, and I did. Problem is, there is a slight delay from phone to tv screen making playing games this way a nightmare. Anyone know if this is how it just is or is there a better device or anything that will not lag

Your probably not putting your device into airplane mode it will be buggy unless you do so. From there you can turn on wifi or Bluetooth mobile data will make it buggy so will phone radio. idk why it just does. Saber 25 best kernel for this I've found gl

Galaxy s3 Bluetooth "skips"

I have a headunit in my car, I use Bluetooth for music.. And for calls now that in wv its illegal to talk and drive unless using Bluetooth.. I have no problems connecting or even staying connected. Its just the audio over Bluetooth is choppy. Like there's interference.. It skips.. Idk if its the ROM I'm using or if its my phone..
ROM is Wicked Sensations 4.2
Request for assistance or questions go in the Q&A section not general you would have probably got a quicker response.
Your issue is most likely kernel related.
