i tried different basebands..... my phone was running version 77.... i flashed v70, v64, v36.... the signal drop got less frequent but still its hasnt gone completely...

Its better if you stick with higher version of basebands than .72
Lower versions may create more problems than it may solve

[Q] LT18i/ARC s Battery Drain and wrong model

Hey guys,
I recently got from my stock LT18i to FXP114 through updating Baseband and flashing the image to my phone..
Everything went fine apart from following issues..
My phone happens to identify itself as LT15i which it is not!
And I experience very high Battery drain.. Charged over night.. almost 20% in 30 min..
I'm new to the forums, and checked before writing this thread. But can't find a clear answer to my problem =/
I hope you guys can help.
May youre on wrong kernel ?
From my sexy LT15i
You can change the model number in build.prop
About Battery Issue, goto CWM and Clean Battery Stats and recharge 100%.
And dont worry, turn off 3G, and auto-sync.
What would be the best kernel for FXP114? I used the Baseband 64 file and the kernel of the flash file.
by 3g you mean my internetconnection right? :S
ill try what you said about CWM. so just clean battery stats and recharge, should I let it fully unload first?
I have the same issue but not battery drain, i tried to root my LT18i today, downgraded to 0.42 via wotan server then root using flashtool by Bin4ry & Androxyde, then when i connect my LT18i to pc, my pc companion detect it as LT15. I unroot my LT18i and run a repair using SE Update Service and PCC but still it detects it as LT15. How can I change it back to LT18i?

Big Problems With My Xperia Play

Hello
First off im new here so if i say or do something wrong im sorry, but to begin i have a habbit of wanting to do stuff to my phones that often is not aloud and ends up breaking it. So when i got my xperia play and got head of rooting it i set off and found out how and everything went smoothly untill i wanted to unlock the bootloader and put ICS Beta rom on my phone. I really dont know why i tried as i was doing it totally wrong but anyway after a failed flasding of the ICS Beta i powered my phone on and it had ereased everything all apps and sd card info but there came problems straight away and they are listed below:
1) Home button key no longer worked unless i press it to un lock my phone
2) Allows me to set up a pattern lock or pin code but when i press lock button its not there
3) Wifi works but no 3g internet
4) Landscape rotation only works when the phones side is up
5) Cant connect to pc to view files on sd card (says its installing MTP USB driver but it always fails)
So anyway i wanted just to revert back to stock firmware so i download the correct version and downloaded flashtool but everythime i try to flash it on it says i havent installed the right drivers but ive installed all of them that came with flashtool, also when i connect my phone its say install device driver sfotware which is a MTP USB driver for some reason but this fails it doesnt even show that the usb is connected on my phone
So what im asking is there anyway to just get my phone back to normal really any help would be soooo helfull
Thanks in advance

Yeah flash the correct ftf for your model (R800 I/X/A)
Once you flash the correct ftf for your model everything should work 100%

but when i plug my phone in it says it installing this MTP USB Driver but always fails is that the problem if so how to fix it?
Try update the mtp driver. Right click on the mtp>properties>hardware>update driver. Asuming u're on windows.
Is this ur 1st time doing all this?? If so i think ur pc is not properly set up. So thats y u got all this trouble.

apperently its up to date but i noticed in the device manager the driver has a yellow caution symbol next to it but i dont get why i cnt see my sd card files and also before i screwed it up im sure it said in the status bar if usb is connected but my phone doesnt do anything
Yeah. The exclamation point, open its properties. Find update driver option. Or just troubleshoot it. It'd be easier to understand.
There should be s1boot driver inside the flashtool driver folder somewhere. Thats what u need to update the mtp driver with.
hi
ok drag and drop the fft file in to the flash box make shure that wipe data user is ticked and wipe cache then click ok then it should say prepairing files to flash, then another box will show up take out your battery and reinstal it then hold the back key and wit till flash has finished all done
use this one ok R800i_4.0.2.A.0.62

[Q] Help me please. My XS wont connect to internal storage. Can't flash too.

My phone cant get into the internal storage when connecting the usb.
I connect it to my laptop, and it only charged.
I cant flash my phone again too.
I can get into flashmode, but after few seconds it reboots again.
Even the flashtool doesnt recognize my phone in flashmode,
please help:crying:
hmmm..but your phone is working or not anymore?
have you tried flashing stock kernel on flashtool?
is your phone unlocked or locked?
here's what you can do if your phone is not working. be sure its off.
try to open flashtool/flashmode/then choose your firmware, kernel only uncheck all then click ok.
when it says connect your phone, connect you phone through flashmode,
i think kernel is easier to flash.
or you can try to relock your phone if your phone is unlocked then repair via SUS.
or you can try to reinstall your back up thru cwm.

[Q] xperia arc trouble with fastboot/flashtool

Hi, I have little problem with my xepria arc (unlocked booloader). a flash kernel by doomlord (doomkernel v20) - it's workig good, but I install incorrect zip from SDcard. Now I can run only recovery. Flashtool and fastboot aren't working, and I can flash new ROM, but without flastool i can't. Someone who help me pls? Thanks
I don't think that it's possible to break flashmode and fastboot mode with a single zip file. Pull out your battery for 10 seconds then put it back in and connect your phone (without turning it on) to a PC while holding "back" button. Green LED should illuminate. If it doesn't then repeat but this time hold "menu" button, blue LED should light up. If it doesn't work for you then I don't know how to help. Maybe you should reinstall drivers on your PC or try with different USB port or even another PC.
So, I try all my USB ports, two PC, PC suite and update service, flashtool,etc...but when I hold BACK button and connet USB cable , BLUE led only flash and on screen display DoomKernel logo and nothing else. I try repair my ARC for one week, but I'm hopeless :crying:

YOUR PHONE MUST BE TURNED OFF
Seriously turn it off and connect while holding back or menu if green or blue led flashes then its working.
-_- YES PHONE IS TURN OFF while I hold back or menu key and connect USB cable.....
And it's turning on by itself? Really weird...
---------- Post added at 11:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:03 PM ----------
Only thing that comes to my mind is flashing a ROM that's compatible with your kernel and then trying again.
so problem is,that i need flash new ROM/kernel, but flashtool and fastboot aren't working. When I turn off my device, hold a back/menu key and connect USB cable, don't turn on flashtool/fastboot mode....only display on screen kernel logo and then device reboot and hent repeat reboot .... I try install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994130 but it doesn'n work....I search on google and here too but nothing didn't work .... YES, I need flashing rom compatible with my kernel (I have it) but I don't get to to flastool/fastboot.... srry for my bad english
You said you flashed a wrong zip file. And the thread that you mentioned above is for xperia pro.Am I correct?
And you are using an Arc!
Bomber!
Try uninstalling the flashtool.Redownload another version of flashtool.
Run the drivers.Switch off your device.Press back button and see if this newer version picks up your phone.

But you don't need a flashtool or anything to flash a ROM because you have a working kernel with a recovery. Download a flashable zip file put it on your sd wipe all from the recovery and install your ROM.
yes,but i don't find flashable zip, who work on my kernel.....and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994130 is for arc too(during instalation i can choose from ARC,ARC S, PRO,NEO,RAY etc...)...
Do you know where I dowload flashable zip for my kernel?
Thx.
Its a GB kernel right? If so then you can try any GB stock based ROM. For example this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2083286
No no...it´s older kernel than GB ....
No it's not. If you are using Doomkernel then its 100% Ginger Bread based. There is nothing older than GB on Arc because this phone was released with this version of android back in 2011. Install ROM from my previous post and have fun with your device.

[Q] Xperia M wont enter flashmode and also stuck in sony logo

Dear Developers, I have CM11 4.4.4 running in my xperia m dual. It was running perfect till yesterday. I was surfing the net in my phone that's when it got hung and didn't respond to power button. Then i removed the battery and inserted it and tried to start the phone. That's when it got stuck in Sony logo. I tried to flash the phone but when i connect the phone in flash mode i get a red led immediately followed by green led (sometimes no lights at all),but then it doesn't say it is connected in flash mode in my flashtool. I have tried all the ways i know, but no luck. Its still stuck in Sony logo. I tried different data cables, but no luck. Help will be much appreciated. Thanks all in advance.
Just try with pc companion ? have you try with that software? as long as i know that still software problem right? try with pc companion first, and do the repair os with that software ok?
I think your device is Hard-bricked. Since it won't enter flash mode , PC Companion will not recognize the phone. So, it's better to take the device to the Sony Service Center. All The Best.:good:
just go to recovery then flash new zip.
