Instead of asking here and waiting for an answer, why don't you look for search button. Type anything that you want and click search?

Spirit galaxy nex JB native screen shots not working

Anyone else having issues with power + volume down not taking screen shots?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
No. Are you holding them long enough?
I press power then volume down. Hold both. Volume just turns down:-/

Works for me. Push and hold both at same time.

S3 camera for gnex?

Hey guys,
Is it possible to port the s3 camera for our gnex running jelly bean deodexed on rooted phone?
I would like to try out the HDR feature that comes default on s3.

Wrong section... Expect flaming and whipping...
As for your question, I guess it's possible. I mean I don't see why it wouldn't... We just need the developers' will for that.
I'd also love to see HDR and burst shot from the S3 camera ported over. Not sure about the HDR, though - maybe the GNex camera hardware is just not capable of doing that...
Q&A section dude that's what it is for
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
HDR from market works on gnex.
Doubt it has much to do with the hardware, rather the software.
Used HDR on the spica and took some great pictures. Once you go HDR, regular shots aren't enough
Since its in the wrong section, would a mod kindly move it to the right one.

That would be awesome if someone manages to port it , the camera on s3 looks amazing .
Burst will be nice, but not really important on a phone.
More of a marketing gimmick than a feature i say, if you want burst, DSLRs or other cameras will have burst functions.

yeah, it would be great to have a full screen camera ui, with no borders and all the buttons floating in a 1280x720 display!
the galaxy nexus can not be left behind... :fingers-crossed:
does anyone have any sort of news about this? thanks!
I might be missing something, but I fail to see how this is in the wrong section. He's asking a question about the galaxy nexus. He wants to use the camera app from a different phone but on the galaxy nexus... So it seems to me like the question and answer section for the galaxy nexus is very relevant. But I really could have missed something and I apologize if I did. :/

It was likely in the dev section before and has since been moved to Q&A.

[HELP] Very low sound in Jelly, any solution for official ROM?

I have a Galaxy 4.1.1 Nexus with Jelly Bean for two weeks and have seen that the sound of the tone is not very good.
I have called several times and I have heard the call.
I just tried BlackJelly and really surprised me because it has the sound increased.
Is there anything to improve the sound as BlackJelly for the official ROM?
Try volume + app. The pro version is free on dev site.

Why is this here?! I dont understand how people miss the Q&A section. And if you had bothered to read any of the threads you would have seen that this is an ongoing issue that many ROMs have fixed.
I thought here as it is a problem that can be fixed by developers
Questions irregardles of their nature belong in the Q&A section take special care in the future. Please search before posting.
Thread moved. Questions are not to be posted in the development section. Thank you.

[Req] - 2-way call recording on nexus

Hey all devs.
I've searched my a.. off to find any info on this topic for my nexus.
Would really like to know if it at all is possible to do? Had this on my htc phones and it was working perfect.

+1
I was searching for something like this a few months ago. I was also looking for a screen recorder app. From what I can tell, the gnex does not use most of the standard ways of doing things.
Hopefully something has come out by now, or someone will be able to figure it out soon.

Ask in the q&a section next time, not the development section please. Thanks.

U are in the wrong section man. This section is only for development. The rule u have broken is like a man goes into woman washroom. Come on man, don't just barge in a room without looking at the sign of that room. The outcome will not be that easy if u do it in the real life.

CallRecorder from sklavex.
1- wrong forum section
2- 9.95$ for the app, seriously? skvalex must be crazy. I was there when it all started on the htc desire forum, it's not even his work, he just made an app back then,(althought the real dev who worked on the project had his own lil simplified app). Furthermore, it was free, then he put a small fee as a sign of support for his work and dedication, which in my opinion is ok, but 9.95$? Come on...

He also made alsa mixer. Wich is required for CallRecorder.
Basically he made call recording on the gnex possible. And before the app was cheaper $ 6.00. It is the only option when you want 2 way recording.

To answer your question with a question...
What camera are you using? Stock or flashed mod?
What rom are you on?
Is this a known issue with the rom?
Can you get a logcat and post for someone to look at?
Can you record or describe the sound being made?
In order for us to help you, you'll need to be as specific as possible. It's like walking into a mechanics and saying "My car is making a funny noise" and not letting them look at it lol. Know what I mean?
If you need help with logcats check this out :good:
