Hello Last month i rooted and instaled Omega ROM V10 on my Note II
But now i want to unroot my phone and to turn it back to STOCK version .... I want my warranty back ( Please help me ))
I dont have any issue or troubles with my phone but its New i boght it before 2 months and didnt know that when I root it it will take off my warranty
I want my Stock Firmware back and my phone to be unrooted
Download a program from xda called Triangleaway, and then download a stock rom for your phone and flash it through Odin fromn your pc. this will reset the counter to 0 and get your warranty back. Once completed go into download mode by holding down volume+power+home and it should say your binary count is zero and phone is stock. Then you can have your warranty back. There are numerous threads on how to do this no need to start a new thread.

Hi,
Apologies if I`m in the wrong forum. If I am please direct me to the right one, thank you...
I can`t find the stock recovery for Samsung galaxy S4 active gt-i9252
I`d appreciate a quick reply here as I have to ship it back to Samsung on Sunday morning.
I bought the device 3 weeks ago and it has been freezing daily ever since.
Now I want to send it back for replacement and I`m afraid leaving the CWM I have installed might void my warranty. I was given to understand the only way to uninstall CWM it is to flash via odin the stock recovery. I`ve uninstalled root and I`m running on the stock rom.
If anyone has any other idea how to go about it, or can point me to where I can download the stock recovery, I`d be very thankful!
Hi guys, I have had my Galaxy note 2 I317 for only 7 weeks now with the 4.3 update. A couple days after I had it, I rooted the phone. However, 2 weeks ago, the sim card reader stopped working. I contacted samsung since I was still under warranty and they told me to send the phone so they can fix now. Now while trying to unroot it, I flashed it using the wrong stock firmware. I used 4.1 instead of 4.3 firmware. Now the phone is stuck to the Samsung logo and I am so depressed. I need help finding the 4.3 stock firmware and telling me exactly what to do in order to unroot the phone, reset the binary count to zero, so that i can be able to send the phone to Samsung to be fixed.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You can find Stock 4.3 ROM here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2589891
If you can go into recovery mode you can flash "AT&T UCUBMK6 i317 *Odexed* Stock CWM Note 2" from recovery mode.
If not you can go into download mode and then flash "AT&T UCUBMK6 i317 *Odexed* Stock ODIN Note 2"
Also, if you want you can flash bootloaders too.
Hi guys,
i'll sell my 7105 in few days so i'd like to set back official rom!
my only doubt is right now i'm using custom rom on 4.4.2 can i just wipe all go in DOWNLOAD mode and install 4.3 official rom?
about keeping the root ?
thanks
Yes, Odin is the way to go. You don't necessarily have to wipe anything, but I would do so to make sure it is factory reset and to prevent you from boot loop.
Flashing stock will unroot the phone, but it won't reset the flash counter! Consider to do that as well as you are going to sell it.
thanks Yakobus for your reply.. actually i did act before reading ur msg
well i was just scared to destroy note 2 just few days before leaving me ahah!
FYI , for those like me willing to know, this is what i did...
I've got latest rom from sammobile..
I used trianlge away and then i went in recovery over my phone!
once in recovery i wiped ALL.. and i mean all with TWRP recovery!
from there i rebooted phone in DOWNLOAD mode and i used ODIN pc (u can find step by step by Dr Ketan or other post)
flashed 4.3 to my phone, when rebooted everything was working ( yes also wifi )
COUNTER went back to ZERO ... Knox is installed (apparently) but honestly i couldn't care less..
everything good if anyone has some doubts.. ask
:highfive:
You are welcome. Good to see everything went fine and thank you for the summary!
Edit:
What I did not have in mind: Your Knox counter is probably set to 0x1 as you were using a custom ROM. You cannot reset it so far and I do not know what that means for our warranty as it depends on your country's laws and your provider/seller.
with some more details pls , i'm a noob , had note II 4.3 JB , upgraded to 4.4.2 official kit kat and want to downgrade , i didn't root it , i didn't do anything at all and i dont want to lose the phone i just bought a week ago , can u help me?
Hi
I have the Galaxy Note 2 LTE Telstra version GT-N7105GT
It is currently flashed with the Nordic 4.4.2 ROM making the phone think its only GT-N7105G which is fine. Thing is I want to send in for warranty and the Official Telstra 4.4 ROM is still delayed to be able to just flash that on the phone so its official ROM
I have read some Note 3's can flash back from 4.4 to 4.3 is it possible with my phone or is the bootloader now locked?
Cheers
Yes you can flash back from 4.4 to 4.3 using PC Odin. Download first the official Rom at your country from Samfirmware website. Then do factory reset in settings after flashing. I will save first anything important from my internal sd card.
If there is a need to clear the flag counter, Triangle Away is the solution.
But make sure the knox counter is not yet triggered to claim warranty.

Thanks for that I thought it was not possible because the bootloader is locked? Has anyone done it and worked? What are the risks if it doesn't work? Just flash back 4.4?
Triangle away requires Root doesnt it? If I root it will trip Knox? I would hope the counter wouldnt be reset flashing back official firmware
Cheers
I have the optus note 2 I flashed samsungs nordic rom and had some software issues and major battery faults so I went back to4.1.1 using samsungs original roms, bit of a muck around to get there it takes a little while but it is possible.
Now my zero lemon battery can actually last the distance... with 4.1.2 I was getting 12 hours screen time and 3 to 4 days standby as apposed to 2. To 3 days standby with 7 or 8 hours screen time with 4.3 and 4.4.2

Hi. A few months ago I received a phone for my daughter from my mom. I reset the phone back to factory settings and it's working fine. I had to reset it back to factory again after locking myself out recently but other than that there hasn't been any issues until now. I picked up an activity tracker for my daughter recently and it wasn't connecting to the phone like it should even though it was listed as a compatible device.
Turns out the phone is at Android 4.1.1 and when I try to update it OTA it says there are no updates to download. So I tried updating through Kies and it isn't connecting the phone. At this time I started to do some more research.
The knox counter is at 2 and the device status is modified, which I have never rooted the phone and my mother can't even set up her wifi printer and most certainly can't root a phone. I installed triangle away but the phone needs to be rooted in order to do it's magic.
Do I need to root the phone in order to get the knox counter back to 0? Will this put the phone back where I can get android updates for it? I don't know where to start.
Boot into download mode. Do you see anything about warranty bit? If you do, the updates are working because it sounds like the phone has a stock 4.1.1 rom on a 4.3 or newer bootloader.

If you would to reset the knox counter to 0x0... yes, you have firstly to root your phone, then install triangle away.

Knox cannot be reset to 0x0 once it has been changed to 0x1.
Since the word "modified" appears in download mode, this leads me to conclude that the phone may be rooted and cannot receive ota updates.
It is strange that the phone is running 4.1.1 with Knox as Knox was not introduced until 4.3.
Before flashing anything, you need to confirm the phone's current bootloader and modem.

How do I confirm the bootloader and modem? I literally am learning all the language and how all of this works as I go. All I know is I have a phone that is running 4.1.1 and won't update and when I went to the download odis (I think that's what it is called) said it was tripped 2 times where I was supposed to read the knox number.
I ran to the mobile store it's connected to and they said the T Mobile Galaxy S3 phone that I-Wireless puts out was never given an update past 4.1.1 Not sure how true that is. If that's the case, I probably need to root the phone anyway to force an update (Is that what I would need to do to get it at least to 4.3?
there is an app in the playstore called samsung info. download it and it should tell you bootloader and modem.
pretty sure it is true that 4.1.1 was the last.
heres the link to the xda thread , which of course will lead you to the playstore ; but will tell more detail about the app :

I've never flashed something. Sorry if I ask a hundred questions as I go through this.
So you want me to flash the 4.1.1 that's already on the phone? Is that correct? Can I ask why? (I'm just wanting to know the meaning behind the action so understand what your thought process is so I can understand for next time.)
Just follow the directions underneath?
Is this what we're doing?

if i'm guessing right about what @audit13 & @ arthur (lol) are asking you to do is flash that firmware since the samsung info app said "firmware not found".
you might be confusing firmware version with android version. you say your on 4.1.1 which is the android version.
also if i'm not mistaken that firmware will match your bootloader which is a good thing.

Ah! That makes sense. In the process of it now. We'll see what happens and if I'm successful with it.
Success. It has auto updated to Android 4.3 after this. Thanks for your help.
good to hear.
