There's a couple of options in the camera app that aren't entirely self-explanatory. Anyone able to shed any light?
Anti-shake: The manual says, "reduces image blur due to the movement of the subject of the photo or hand movement." Any ideas why this is disabled by default? Are there any downsides to reducing shake?
Auto contrast: The manual says, "provides a clear image even under backlight circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively." Does anyone have any idea what this is doing? Is this HDR?
Outdoor visibility: The manual says, "allows you to take better pictures when outdoors." Anyone know if this does anything besides just make the screen colors brighter?
Anyone have any ideas?
Anti-Shake is an option to use to help reduce the effects of the camera moving while shooting a picture. I see no downsides to enabling it unless you like blurry pictures. It might reduce battery life a tiny bit more while using the camera.
Think of it as mouse smoothing in games, if you do that sort of thing.
Auto contrast is a nice feature (if it works well) that adjusts the pictures light levels in case of a dark subject and a bright background, or vice versa. It should help to make a better overal balanced picture.
Outdoor visibility has to do with the LCD screen itself. If you are outside on a bright day you want that on. It makes sure the backlight is on full and the colors are bright so you can more easily see the screen.
Is there any apps or anything that could help tweak the saturation? everything is ok in general use, but when viewing images they are way too saturated.
I've tried the screen mode. It's either too saturated or too dull. I need something in between.
Thanks

If you're rooted, have you tried STweaks? It offers some control over saturation. I'm using Samsung's Standard display mode with saturation at around -5 or -6. Most test photos match up pretty well with my color calibrated laptop display now.
Hello,
this is pretty annoying but everytime I open camera app to take some pictures or videos the brightness of the screen jumps to max and stays there until I exit the app... Is there any way to disable this? I want the same brightness I have set. If I go out in the night the screen is very bright and eats my battery like crazy..you dont need max brightness in camera app when there is no sun in the sky...
Is there any way, modification, xposed module, flashable zip, anything that can help with this?
Thank you very much for answers, any kind of help is appreciated...
Hey friends, just curious if any of you know how (or if it's possible) to make the brightness during the boot animation not be 100% or however bright it currently is? I use a low(er) brightness and hate blinding myself when I turn on my device.
Thanks!
yeah i'm finding that method too
Hi anyone here have this blueish photo if camera flashed is used?If anybody knows how to fix this issue.
It's a white balance issue. LEDs are generally on the cool side. Either manual change the WB setting or post edit it to make it warmer. That's assuming there's no actual camera malfunction.
A picture(s) would help...
