I'd like to change the notification bar font color for my Sprint S3 running LIQUIDSMOOTH JellyBean [4.2.1] Beta 3.2.1 [d2spr].
Coming from Cyanogen, it was always pretty easy but I can't find the option here. I apologize if this has already been answered. I couldn't find anything after searching and I can't post to the official topic as I'm a new user. Thanks!
Hey all, just got my GNex (VZW) rooted and wanted to get a sable custom ROM on it for these features:
centered clock in status bar
weather on lock screen
separate wallpaper for lock screen & unlocked screen
lastly, I came from iOS, is there a way to get notifications on lockscreen?
Anyone got suggestions?
yes. look through here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1455
Welcome to android and the nexus family. I suggest you check out the stickied post in the general and q&a nexus threads.
I recommend carbon, black bean, and sourcery roms. I think they all have the mods you are looking for. Not sure what you mean by lockscreen notifications but depending on your lockscreen security you can pull down the notification bar on many roms and access all notifications there

Going to try out JBSourcery, seems promising. By lockscreen notifications I mean just like iOS where the messages are displayed on the lockscreen after I simply hit the unlock button on the phone.
iOS is completely foreign to me. Waking the screen and pulling the notification bar seems easy enough to me. No need to unlock lockscreen to see them.
Sourcery has many (maybe the most) customizations and results in average to sub average battery life but its one of my favorites.
Carbon offers many customizations as well as excellent battery life for me. You will learn that you will need to try different rom and kernel combinations to see which is best for your individual device.
Good luck *taken voice*
as far as iOS like notifications on the lockscreen checkout the lockscreen replacement LockerPro highlighted on lifehacker here http://lifehacker.com/5965082/locke...s-app-notifications-right-on-your-lock-screen
Nexus Evolution is a very stable ROM that has all the features you are looking for but maybe not as many as some others. When it comes to weather on the lock screen you can now use some of the home screen widgets also on the lock screen (HD widgets for example)

There is no substitute for reading the OP of ROMs before putting on software to drastically alter your $500 device.

Hi folks,
I've recently ported from S2 running CM10.1 nightly to N4 with stock rooted and I'm missing some nice mods / hacks from CM, such as right swipe of notification bar to see settings and left swipe for notifications, long press on settings from notification bar to go for certain settings like WiFi and more.
Does anyone know if such ports from CM10.1 are available for flash to a rooted stock?
If there a list of such ports, I'll appreciate a link.
Thanks in advance,
Bright
Just flash CM10.1
Thanks for the offer, but I would like to remain with my stock
Are there any other resources for applying CM10.1 features to 4.2.1 rooted stock?
With nexus devices, people don't really bother modding the stock rom, as aosp is perfectly stable on the n4 and identical to the stock rom anyway.
No bloody smali hacks, all source

Having issues with getting led settings to actually work in the new wicked rom release v8. I assign a color but get the default blue led blinking. Attempting to just change facebook notifications to purple. Read in the faqs that it could be the kernel. Opted for the xone one. Probably just user error but thought id fire out a post. Any thoughts appreciated.
Hello all,
Currently using Chameleon ROM with my Samsung Epic 4G.
This ROM, while very stable, is unfortunately not being as updated as it should be.
Question: what other ROM has this feature (see picture below)? I like this setup, were I can switch between notifications and toggles. And if there is a ROM that has a WiMax / 4G toggle, even better!
Moved to Q&A
Looks like MIUI style tabs.
I know that most of the JB roms allow you to add a power widget to the notification shade where you can add the 4G toggle.
