I have the Motorola one. My battery life has close to doubled. Plus I was able to use my original battery door with it. Which means I am able to use the same case. Although not everyone has had the same experience with the oem battery door working.

Many people have reported problems with their screen from using the stock door with the extended battery so just be careful doing so. Hopefully it works good for you! I also have the motor extended battery and my battery life has significantly increased by several hours a day.

I really like my Seidio 2600, I just couldn't get by on the stock battery. The replacement door does not really affect anything for me either.

Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
I really don't see why anybody is even bothering with the stock battery door with the EB??? The "proper" door is 1mm. Lol, come on. 1mm for 20 hours between charges is well worth it in my opinion.

I have the Moto extended battery and love it. I bought it before a business trip thinking I'd swap over mid flight to the stock battery when I ran it down. I havent swapped back to the stock battery since. I unplug from the charger at 6:30a on day 1. I usually plug back into the charger around 10p on day 2 unless we're going out in which case I'll charge the phone around 5p on day 2.

i can confirm accounts of this happening to people, just saying
The extended battery is great only adds a little bit of thickness with new door. I tried using stock door but it caused problems with my screen.

I just received the otterbox defender(vzw rugged) and the moto eb today. Using the eb door with the otterbox just fine. But because I have to mod everything, I did shave just a little off the inside of the otterbox. Fits like a glove. Oh and the eb is the best. Love it.

Find the true mah

I know there was a was to find the true mah of the battery on my nexus one. I was wondering how to fond the mah for the new extended battery I got from eBay. Its supposed to be 3800 mah, but I wanna be sure. I be been on it pretty hard today from a full charge. Its held up pretty good and I've been on it pretty hard. If anyone knows how to check let me know. I'll also leave the link from where I got the battery from only 15 bucks

There is no way to get mAh value due to the fuel gauge samsung used. The n1 used the ds2784 which outputted that info. Our max17040 does not. Nothing we can do.
it is possible but you need a battery analyzer. Chances are the 3800mah you got is closer to 2800mah. check out this site that tested lots of batteries from ebay and some aftetmarket companies. http://batteryboss.org/

Like I said anything is better then stock. The stock battery was horrible! The last phone before I got this was my bionic and with the OEM extended 2750 mAh I got 2 days. Wasn't expecting anything spectacular with this 3800 mAh, But again for me anything is better then stock. Almost got rid of the phone based on the stock battery. For 15 bucks I'll take it and keep this phone a little longer. Oh and I had the screen at 100% the whole time.

You should post your screen on time.
15hrs of battery is easily achievable this days with stock battery and correct rom + kernel combo
I even saw one guy manage to get 4hrs screen time on stock battery

I had 4 hours 30 on stock battery (GSM) for some time.
That was with an older AOKP and Franco build (AOKP something in mid 20s, Franco in mid 90s)
Right now I get between 3 hours 30 and 4 hours, depending on the use and where I am (Auto-Brightness).
Mostly E-Mails, texting, Play Store and Browser, with an occasional youtube video inbetween.
Running AOKP B29 and Franco r112
your problem is not the battery, sounds like your phone has a problem going to sleep or you have too many things syncing. with the stock battery i can get over 20 hours of idle and 3 hours of screen time. with the samsung extended battery i can get over 24 hours of idle and 4 hours screen time.

Mugen Power

I've got mugen power 1500mAH battery. The battery life is worse than stock. Gets flat within 2-3 hours on any ROM. Is this happening because I didn't follow the initial charging instructions?
Sent from my Desire HD using xda app-developers app
Yes cause i bought a mugen battery Like yours 8 month ago and since then I have something like 45 mins or 1 hour more of active screen with same use so my battery life improved a lot.
Sorry for bad English

Damn I can hardly get 3h with stock battery and 12h on battery.
I have the QCell 4200mah. Got it on Amazon for 22 bucks or something. Easily get around 5 hours of screen time and a whole days use. Adds some bulk, but feels nice. Cases are offered by QCell also.

I have the official extended 3000 from Samsung. The phone is bit thicker but I'm finding I like it more like this and no longer has the tendency to slip from my hand. Getting 3 hour screen time with max brightness and LTE. Stock Kernel but running Wicked v9.1.
I chose to go for the mophie case for battery quality and the fact that all the big battery's don't have cases that cover the screen edge of the gs3. I found mophie only does. If your looking for protection too.

None that I am aware of, I have never owned a gold one but there are posts around both for and against them... some say they are just a 2100 mAh with a new sticker....
I have Seidio's extended battery, along with the case for it. Outrageously expensive, but worth every penny if only because the case has saved my phone from destruction at least 6-8 times when I've dropped it onto hard floors.
It (or my phone) definitely has "moods", though... I've managed to burn through the entire extended battery in as few as 3-4 hours (!!!) a few times. If I don't semi-charge it on my desk at work, it'll usually be down to 15-30% by the time I go home, and dangerously low if it gets another 30-60 minutes of constant use somewhere while eating dinner. I wish somebody besides Seidio made a battery with the compatible dimensions... I wouldn't use a second one often enough to justify throwing down another $70, but I'd love to pick up a second one that's good enough to go for another 3-4 hours.
In case anybody's wondering, my awful battery life is mostly because I use Graffiti, and have to lock the CPU to 100% whenever the screen is on to get acceptable accuracy. It seems like every new generation of Android phones has a worse sample rate than the last, and gets more and more aggressive about trying to slow down the CPU whenever there's a soft keyboard open. (Seriously... my creaky, ancient Sprint Hero OC'ed to 712MHz had a butter-smooth high sample rate, and I could get almost 100% accuracy writing blind with my thumb. My S3 seems to have MAYBE half the sample rate, and Graffiti input when the CPU is allowed to scale down freely and some ***** app is doing realtime Ajax character-by-character queries is almost impossible.

ya my lasted 6 days before dying
Love this battery
I have this same battery and for me it last me a good full day and a half of heavy use. With how much I do with my phone, the stock battery would last me 6 hours on a good day.
