I recently purchased a Lumia online and when I received the device the model # shows Lumia 900.
I have another Lumia that shows the model as Lumia 900.1 at the bottom of the phone.
Called ATT to try to unlock it and they said they have no records of the phone (even though it has all the ATT bloatware), and they said they would need to contact Nokia.
Does anyone know the difference? Between the model 900 vs 900.1
Thanks

I believe .1 came with the updated firmware to fix the data issue.
At&t Lumia 900.1.....Restart loop
I have a nokia at&t lumia 900.1 RM 808 that has been looping since the battery went dead. I tried almost everything on it. I did a couple of hard reset, hold the power button for more than 10 minutes, left it on the charger but it keep turning on and restarting which killed the battery, so i took out the battery and charged it manually but still loops. I tried flashing it with best dongle, ADPS, AMSS went through but the UDA keep giving error say i must check usb or battery even went it full, and WP did not detect by best dongle. Those are the only files i got from the best dongle site/server. When i also put it in a mode nothing shows on the screen but my pc picks it up the phone and the mode. Could i please get some help on this, thanks in advance.
nokia lumia model:900.1 QMNRM-808

I've got a Lumia 800 (well three of them) but it has a stupid Euro wall charger and appearently the Nokia wall chargers do something differently (more voltage) than other USB wall chargers that allows the Lumia to get a more compleate and full charge.... So my question is can someone give me the part number off of thier wall charger so I can try to find a place to order one?
Or another option... If you have a new Rogers Lumia 900 and rather have a smaller sexy curved glass Lumia 800 I'd be willing to trade you one that is new in the box.

Considering you have european chargers, I can only assume that they're european model Lumia 800's.
That means they don't support all the wireless bands that are in use here. That means the data connection would be significantly slower than a US Lumia 800.
To answer your main question though, my AC adapter has the model of AC-16U

Thanks for the model number. About the other stuff you are half right. Yes it is the euro version but it does have most of the US bands. I still get 3G/4G but the phone lacks the 850 band so I do see EDGE a little more than I used to with my other att phones. That said being that the Lumia 800 is a euro phone it's IMEI isn't in att's database as a 'smartphone' so I get unlimited data for $10 a month via the 'data plan for non-smartphone' package
Hi guys,
I'm from Brazil and I want to buy a Lumia 900. Howevery, here in Brazil we dont have the 900, yet.
So, If i buy a Lumia 900 at USA, will it work here in Brazil? Do i need to unlock the mobile? Is it possible?
Thanks a lot
The AT&T ones arent unlockable (Yet). There are some folks claiming its a few days away. Some say AT&T told them Oct. of this year.
I wouldnt buy anything until you KNOW you can get it unlocked.
The rogers units in canada are unlockable buy calling rogers for the code.
I would suggest verifying the model you buy has the right radio equipment in it to work in your market/carrier before putting any money down.
Hi everybody
Just bought a Lumia 900, after owning a 800 for 5 weeks.
On the 800 I bought quite a few games, and of course I dont want to buy them once more!
Is there any way to move the games from the 800 to the 900?
On Android and Apple devices you acount allows you to move to another device and redownload what you have puchased earlier - I have not found this option on the Windows Phone!?
Let me answer taht my self!
Just rebuy, you will be told that you already purchased the software, and that you can just reinstall!
Yes, but unfortunately saved game states do not persist so you will start from scratch there
There is on way to transfer those.
Nerdy question - haven't found anyhwere else online yet..
On NCS, looks like some units in Brazil & Mexico are getting 2102.8779.12202 -
Nokia DO Brasil
Vivo Brasil
Telcel Mexico
My Lumia (Unlocked Hong Kong Smartone) is updated to 2101.8779.12201
Anyone know what the difference is?
Mine is with Rogers Canada, but I received my replacement Lumia 900 from Nokia's center here in Canada.
My firmware reads: 2175.2301.8779.12222
I have the flip to silence feature.

Makes sense; looks like you would have the RM-808; I have RM-823. Not too worried as my phone also has flip to silence - and the tethering works very well as well..
I have a SIM-unlocked Lumia 950 branded by AT&T and a Lumia 950 XL (RM-1116) bought from China.
It's really frustrating that I found double-tap firmware finally came to Lumia 950 AT&T few days ago since it came earlier on Lumia 950 XL from China. Also, apps made by AT&T don't work in China, so I just want to debrand my Lumia 950 by flashing firmware from Mainland China or Hong Kong.
I referenced the tutorial of debrand Lumia 640 AT&T and pushed the similar cabs that downloaded from Windows Update Catalog by iutool, and my phone didn't accept them.
I don't know which FFU should I use in order to make my phone accept these cabs.
I'll attach the cabs I downloaded from WU Catalog.
