I have ARC S and I satisfied with it in every way almost. Almost because the passage of headphones.
Because of the combination of his old headphones (OMTP) any quality with a microphone headset not working on it. For example BEATS SKULL etc. ..
Because they all work the latest technologies that CTIA.
So I wanted to know. If I replace the headphone jack of the phone itself. Sony's connection to connect another method CTIA Does it work? Or should be more any material change?
Trick can be so simple and it will work?
??
Here.
The CTIA Technology differs of the other one just what the mic and ground is inverted, like this image can display.
Actually SE make an adapter to do this convertion.
More info in google, XDA doesn't let me post outside links =/
You can give it a try and try to do it by yourself, with a female jack with quadpolar and a male jack same quadpolar.
Greetings and succes!
Here's an adapter

hi, I'm using HTC HD2.. I actually like the sound quality of the original headset, but I'm not really comfortable the earpiece.. it easily falls down from my ears..
I've been looking for headphone or backphone that have mic and compatible with this device, and I haven't found anything yet.. but I already have one comfortable backphone for PC.. it has mic, but the 3.5 plug is divided into 2 plugs : audio in and mic..
it looks like this :

}
can I combine those 2 plugs into one 3.5mm plug for my HD2 so it can play music as well as talking on the phone?
thanks in advance!
Perhaps sone kind of D.I.Y walkthrough to make a converter or to put both plug into one?

Did you ever tried a Portable Pocket Projector like this one, with Galaxy S II ?

Or you have an idea if this or any other projector will work ?
Thanks
so no one has used a projector with SGS II?
PS: anyway the 24 euro offer for the pico projector form expansys si gone....
My guess is that it wouldn't work without some extra hardware or software. Looks like the projector takes its video input through mini-USB or composite. That's a bit of a problem because the SGS2's video out is MHL or HDMI. So you'd need a way to translate the SGS2's output to something the projector could understand.
Something like the Optoma PK-201, which has a HDMI input, should do the trick.
Worth checking out some reviews for these LED projectors first. I saw an offer for one the other day - around £15 or €17 but reviews suggest that it can't be seen properly even if you're in a room with all the blinds closed.
Hi, I've searched but haven't found anything of what I have in mind...
I was looking for a small, plug-in external speaker that could a bit more of out-put than the built-in speaker on the back. I find it very quite and doesn't perform as nearly as loud as the inbuilt speaker on my old Samsung Galaxy S.
Now, I know about those little balls that look like an hamburger and all that but they are too big. I was looking for something substantially smaller that could be put on a pocket and forgot about it. Say, the size of a lighter or USB pen? I'm not looking for a massive performance, just something a bit louder than the HOX speaker and similar to what I had on the Galaxy.
I found these two things...

...both from China and the first costs US$2 shipped, the second around US$4 shipped... so I'm guessing the quality to be terrible. Not a big loss if I try it though...
Anyway, what is there and what can you recommend?
Cheers!
Edit: This would be nice if it was smaller...

I see they have flat cable, and looking good, so maybe someone know what headphones are they ( I think that is official google image )
And maybe You can tell me a good not very expensive earphones with flat cable like this one for my N5.
I'm from Poland so not all will be available. ( I will check that)

Those could be the Sol Republic earbuds, which appear to also have a flat cable.
Hello all,
Didn't see a post about this unit yet.
Recently purchased. Wanted to share my experience for anyone else interested in this unit.
I purchased the unit from Amazon for the prime shipping.
The pictures on Amazon weren't as up-to-date as the Eonon website.
Also the provided instructions are very lacking.
There was no mention of part #7 Audio cable Designed for Bose anywhere.
My vehicle has the BOSE speakers, even after the cable was installed I was left scratching my head....
*instructions also didn't mention needing to turn on ExAmp (external amplifier) inside sound settings!
I've currently tested out ODBII, and i'm considering getting the DAB+ add on
Anyone else have any experience with this head-unit?
