[Q] Any usb host mode driver for Desire HD?

Hello:
I use Nexus One before, and there is a USB host mode driver which enables Nexus One's USB host function, I can connect some USB device to it, it's awesome ^_^
Now I switched to Desire HD, so is there any usb host mode driver for it now??

Yeah, USB-VGA adapter will works if usb host mode driver works...
Does this usb host mode driver for Desire also works for Desire HD??

any updates? anyone figured or tried anything? whether it worked or didn't work?

would love to use a gamepad or keyboard I have the adapter that goes to female usb too

[Q] OTG cable enables USB Pendrive reading, but not keyboard / mouse operation

Hello.
I bought this USB OTG cable from Amazon :

With it, I can read USB pen drives content without any problem. It is detected as soon as I plug it and I can play MP3 files from the drive for example.
However, I'm unable to use any USB mouse / keyboard or gamepad (ICS is supposed to have added gamepad profile...), although i've seen many people doing it.
I'm using stock ICS 4.0.3 (unrooted, but that shouldn't be a problem...), I've tried to use USB Joystick Center to see if anything was detected, but no luck so far, although Videos show people even using a wireless XBOX360 controller with what seems the exact same configuration...
Did I miss something ? Is it possible that my cable only allows to use usb mass storage but nothing else ?
I hope someone has some experience to share...

The cable is fine the kernel isn't you will most likely have to change the phones kernel to enable a few other host otg options.

Is there a way to enumerate the modules implemented in the kernel without rooting ?
I really thought stock kernel had the mouse / keyboard hid profiles...

[Q] I want my OTG connectivity back

Anyone have a solution for the lost OTG connectivity with Kitkat update on theSprint LG G2?
I've already upgraded to Kitkat when I noticed that my USB otg wasn't working anymore. Will it help to Downgrade back to stock Jelly Bean?
If so, can anybody tell me how? I just want my OTG back,

USB storage is enabled. I talked with LG support and they said "unfortunately the update(Kitkat) will remove the OTG feature.
.....the only thing they can do on this case is "to send a complaint about this".....this is not a guarantee of a follow up or call back, however, this may be taken into consideration for future references.
it is so frustrating. Google is killing Android with Kitkat. Any help to bring back OTG will be appreciated.:crying:

That sucks. I was about to upgrade to KK. Can someone else confirm this? @radloongm Nexus Media Importer app might help you to use OTG functions again. Its a paid app though.

OTG is working fine for me. I upgraded to KitKat. I'm typing on my full-sized keyboard right now using OTG cable. I'm able to use the mouse, thumb drive, keyboard -- no problem.

Hii, Guys does anyone know how to enable One Plus 3 Ethernet cable, I brought a usb to Ethernet cable and otg but I cant connect....
is there a way I can install a mod to make this work thank you,
I am at work need free wifi My data signal is low... lol

Should be possible with a custom kernel integrating the right module for your Ethernet dongle.

If You want to use your phone to access internet on your PC, use pdanet. I've been using it for the past three months. I have an unlimited data plan.

i've used it, works fine with USB-C dongle with ethernet

Recover Data from OP3 with broken screen and USB Debuging disabled

Hi Guys, I call for help because i'm out of solutions :
My OP3's screen is broken, I need to recover my data, I already tried Vysor, but the thing is that USB DEBUGING isn't allowed, and Vysor needs access...
So I bought an OTG cable to try to activate Usb deguging using a keyboard (blind activation method in a thread on Oneplus Forum)
But my issue is : My OP3 doesn't power my keyboard or any other OTG device ! I bought mine on amazon and it didn't worked, so I asked OnePlus to kindly send me one and they accepted, got it today (nice customer support) but it didn't worked either... So It means that It won't work untill I activate the OTG option in the settings... And with a broken screen and no OTG, I can't do that.... So am I screwed ?
Do you guys see anything else to try ?
