S-Pen Is Acting Up - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II
Like the subject says my S-Pen is acting up. BAD. It will click on things when I just hover over it a little bit. It is needless to say extremely annoying to the point where I don't and use it. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hope this helps. :fingers-crossed:

I had the same problem.
I took my phone to the Sprint store I purchased it at and asked for a new pen because the one I had was acting up.
Clicking while hovering should I say.
They couldn't get me a different pen but they gave me a new phone.
Havent had the problem since.

In the app store it said the app wasn't compatible with my phone so I had to download it through 4shared.
Hope this helps

Alright guys adjusted the pentiometer or whatever the f. S-Pen works flawlessly now. If you guys haven't done this it's so worth it. Follow one of the videos in this thread, it's that easy!
Okay so I just pulled out the S-Pen again since I adjusted it. Its even worse! It freaking sucks. What can I do?

Did you drop your S pen? The tip might be stuck. Jiggling the tip around might help a little, but if the "button" built-in to the tip is jammed from dropping it on the tip you may need a new pen. The jiggling helped me when the same thing was happening with my S pen, but I had not dropped the pen (or the phone).
Contact Samsung/Carrier and get another s-pen. :cyclops:

A more retarded answer would be if you s-pen keeps on acting up, you could put it in time out or send it to bed without supper.

[Q] My Note II fails the "Power Noise Test"
Never mind I'm an idiot and was moving my Note II the first couple of times when I was testing it. Mods please delete.
Roms
It is me or does it seem that we have lost the developers that we once had that moved on to newer device like we had with the Note, Note 2 and Note 3. I don't remember any other time when guys were not fighting to get a rom out there for a device???
Maybe it's just to new... T-Mobile has a few up....
note 4 AR unchained
just upgraded to att note 4. i was using my rooted s4 with my appradio and AR unchained successfully. i was having an issue getting the phone rooted at first due to the software update carrying an updated kernel. i ended up flashing the s4 with the previous kernel version, which allowed me to then root the phone with towel root. so my question is, why can't this same thing be done with the note 4?? my understanding is the s4 had a locked bootloader as well. i am not an expert on this stuff, but it seems to me that this should be possible with the note 4. i really just want to be able to continue use of AR unchained with the note 4 so i can get full mirroring in my vehicle.

Click to expand... Click to collapse That is a really good question. I'm a newb so quite uninformed but my one guess is maybe there's something really device-specific about kernels, so a device won't boot enough to be rootable, say crashes before it can. But that's a good idea and something worth trying at least. We have images from AT&T phones and the T-Mobile phone, so the ingredients might already be there.

Ok, device specific kernel makes sense. I suppose I wasn't implying that the same kernel would work for the note 4, but more of just a suggestion as to how a root may be possible by manipulating the kernel to be note 4/root compatible.
I have the Note 4 developer edition. You must have root before anything can be started on the retail version. Sent from my SM-N910V DE using XDA Free mobile app
[Q] Losing my mind without a permanent root!
I've been waiting for 7 months for a permanent root for the Note 4 on AT&T and there's yet to be one found. I'm absolutely going to lose it soon. Are there any decent devices on AT&T that can be rooted? Or do all of them have this same problem?
These things take time (more time with the Note 4). I'm bored with the phone as well but know that devs are working hard to come up with a solution to root. In the meantime I'm also looking for another phone to change to since I strongly believe this will be my last Samsung phone.
It sure has been a suffering. But I've just learned to accept 2 things. I have a AT&T galaxy note 4, not a samsung galaxy note 4 lol. And the fact that I'll never buy a AT&T phone again. Only way to never deal with this next time around bro. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Cantact dialer
Hey guys, I hope I'm in the right forum here. I FINALLY got myself a NOTE 4 and I love it. But something caught my eye the other day. My fiancé has a Note as well (AT&T) and whenever she gets a call; she can put her call on hold and then go back to it when she's done. It's like she gets an extra step that we don’t on our phone. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried porting a stock TouchWiz contact dialer from an AT&T/T-Mobile Note 4 over to a Sprint Note 4? Again sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but that little detail seemed kool to me and even though I searched for it, I couldn't find a dialer apk files anywhere. Then again, I don't know if it's even possible. Any help/guidance would be much appreciated, Thanx.
