I installed the aosp messaging app and it has a transparent background. Was wondering if there was a way to add a solid background to it?
Did you check in the apps and themes section?

I am using an HTC Incredible w/CM6.1 and LauncherPro. I'd like to know if there is a way to hide the text under the icons in the app drawer to leave just the icons. I found a few mods for "Rosie" that do this, but I don't know what Rosie is, much less how to make those work for my setup.
Anyone think they could help?
Rosie is the Sense launcher, so it won't help you with LauncherPro.
I'm not a LP guy, but I do know that ADW can do what you're looking for. I don't see why LP wouldn't have the option too...
I have question for Apex Launcher users. Is there any way I can remove the background/curtain behind the icons in or the folder background? Sorry not sure what to call it. Or do I have to contact the app dev?
I absolutely hate the lock screen clock font but would like to use the touchwiz lockscreen because when I had widgetlocker it would occasionally revert back to the touchwiz one and did not feel seamless at all. It felt like an overlay. Which, it was. How can I accordingly modify the lockscreen clock font?
Thanks!
I would suggest asking one of the nice people in apps and themes to lend a hand.

I just swapped from HighOnAndroid, a TouchWiz based ROM, to JellyBam 7.4. I really like the customization of JellyBam, but there are a number of system apps that I really don't like, the Clock app, Calendar app, Messenger app, Contacts app, and Phone app. I love the look and feel of the TouchWiz versions of all of those apps. The JellyBam Clock has none of the features of TW clock, the TW calendar has a nice appearance, and i work outside at night, so the white text on black used in the TW Contacts and Messenger apps is perfect. Actually the Messenger app uses the colored balloons on a black background, which i really like.
Where can i find these apps, and can someone explain to me an elementary and simple way to install them? I have a copy of the Clock app, but it wont install. I've tried drag and drop, overwrite, etc. The phone won't let me do anything with the default clock app.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Jellybam roms are banned from xda so you will not find any support on this.
Also
TW based applications don't function on AOSP roms without the TW interface.

Hi all
I wanted to find out if there is a way to make the background transparent when having apps grouped. At the moment it is white and doest look good with the wallpaper.
Thanks
Hi ali_bobo
It all depends on your launcher. I don't think you can accomplish this using default trebuche launcher.
However using Apex and this Kitkat theme for example, you can accomplish something more like you want.

Maybe there's a theme out there with completely transparent background even.
Edit: actually there's an option to make the background completely transparent under options.
Best regards

Hi pitrus
Thanks for the reply.
Would using a launcher such as Apex drain battery more and/or cause performance issues?
Also still cant seem to find option after your edit:
Where exactly is it?
Cheers
