Freeware Handwriting notepad App?

HI all;
When I bought the Artemis first time there was an app,like a notepad where I could just draw and save.It was very useful to jot down things very fast without typing.For ex I could use stylus and draw ,there was also a recognition after drawing.So could save a lot of time
But the new ROM's doesnt have it.I tried to find it from the forum.But couldn't find it.Any one knoe it?I also dnt know the name

the latest wm6 roms are using office mobile 2007.
there you will find "one note mobile", which is far better! even touchscreen notebooks are using onenote.

Hi friend;
I know one note.But u can't draw there right?I mean there was a possibility to draw words and save it.After drawing in the menu there was an option to recognize that too.That one is what I am looking for.

Yes you can - nt got my pda on me but im pretty sure its one of the options when you clikc the arrow next to the keyboard...

Thats a block recognizer option or letter recognizer.I mean is a software where u can write this and save as it is.So next time u can see it more like a picture.U understand?

Some of the cooked ROMs do not have the handwriting recognition feature, I don't know whether it is missing from the O2 WM6 ROM too, or just from Tom's cooked ROMs.

must have been that, it wasn't hard to stumble upon when i was having a quick play thats why i thought it was there.

Its smthing like a ms paint for windows.We can write something using the paint brush and save it as a pic right?

Sorry friends only yesterday did I find that the notes application can be used in the same way to write with stylus on screen.it had to be changed from type to write in the options menu.

just a note -- if you want BETTER handwriting-type note apps, then maybe you should try out Phatpad. I tried it on my x51v before and the feel of the ink was a heckuva lot better than the default Notes. It can also handle your writing a lot better -- and apparently with Calligrapher (Phatware's version of Transcriber) you can draw in Phatpad and have drawing converted to text quite reliably.
I haven't had the cash to buy the app yet myself, but I might pick it up again one day when I have more cashola.

You should check Multipad.
It is not a freeware but a great proggy I use on a day to day basis.

Don't forget Pocket Informant - as well as being a very good PIM, it features a Note taking facility on which you can also set alarms...which is nice!

Actually, I'm also interested in expanding OneNotes Mobile possibilities in the way regular notes work (to draw a note with pictures and handwriting without recognition and being able to sync it with my desktop version of oneNote)

Input method auto change (choose keybord using stylus)

I would like to share with You my little app, that I wrote to make using HTC easier and more comfortable. With this app You can assign finger friendly keybord when stylu is In, and small keyboard for stylus when it is out. Unfortunately it works only on devices with stylus sensor like HD, Diamond, Touch Pro, SE X1 (I hope it works, I've tested with BlackStone only). If you have some suggestions, ideas or if You run this app on other devices please let me know.

nice app...i'm sure it will help me, as it seams that my touch hd keep changing input keybord completely randomly and with no logic whatsoever so will give a try...hope it will bring an law and order to that mess

I've attached some screens. During system start, application is checking screen oreintation and stylus state and then deciding which keyboard should be used.

I tried the Cab file above, it really works, meaning it will change the Imput method according to stilus in or out.
But if I closed the phone or make a soft reset, the first time I want to write a message the imput method is still the standard one

You must setup program to start service with Windows.

Do you mean select the option "Run at Start up" ?
Yes I did select it but as I mentionned, after a reset or turning the mobile off, the first message I will write will open with the standard keyboard... I then move stilus in and out and it starts to work correctly until the next reset or turn off

So strange, because program is started. Maybe You are using keyboard which is loaded leter. Uncheck 'run at start' and add shortcut to autostart. After this program should start after all proceses and services.

Hi Nitro, is it possible to launch an application when you take out the stylus? I would love to have Phatpad opened when I do so, to take a quick note.
I won't mind closing it the one time I pull out the stylus in another app.

Been using shapewriter since day 1 i bought my THD. never look back.
But it does not work good with opera or when surfing net.
I use it mainly for email and sms and taking notes. simply great!!!

It won't crash your phone... If you don't like it just uninstall it!
knight900 is absolutely right it works best with long text such as
emails, notes and SMS it very fast if you pratice a little! You
don't need to use your stylus, and you don't have to be very accurate!!

It works also in Opera but it's not very useful for url input. You have just
press cancel when you are asked for the Activation i don't really know whats the handicap of the non activated version. If you need an activation key you have to buy it or look somewhere else! No Warez are alowed on XDA Dev!!

When I heard about Swype I was looking for something alike and stumbled upon this gem. It is by far the utmost brilliant keyboard for me yet. Thanks heaps for that.
Is there any chance of further development? I'd love to see this keyboard with german umlauts in order to make full use of it

DONE! . It's attached.
Installation goes without any problems (just needed to uninstall bb connect software). BB Application Suite starts but after splash screen I got only white screen and then program probably terminates itself (or wm does it) as I see only today screen (TouchFLO is switched off while BB Application Suite starts).
I have Energy.BLACKSTONE.21891.Leo_MaxManila_07.Feb.2010 flashed on my Touch HD and registry tweek - AKU changed to .1.6.0). maybe the WM build could be a problem.
Please share your experience with BB Application Suite on BlackStone I realy am keen on the bb service.

Allright, it worked in my phone "XTROM_GRIDEVO_20B" but it need registertion with either BIS or BES .. ill try and feed you back ..

Working but no soft keyboard
After hard reset and installation BAS started to work on Energy.BLACKSTONE.21891.Leo_MaxManila_07.Feb.2010.
I have got a PIN (the same as at the BB connect) however was not able even to try enterprise activation as the soft keyboard was not available anywhere there. Or my phone is still not bugs free or it had meant to be this way as Touch Pro (Raphael) has hardware keyboard.
Anyhow I was to flash it to something else tomorrow so I will give it another try.

There is keyboard there but I'm not ganna tell you how to get it caz I'm sure you don't want to see it lool, it the worst keyboard ever, BIS must be joking with us. anayway long press until you see the keyboard in leftbottom.
I got my pin too with BIS service but still stock with enterprise activation. I was thinking to get BES but after I saw the keyboard I changed my mind or If someone haked the app to change the keyboard.

Managed to get up to the point of actibation, soft keyboard appeared by long press for each character.
To enter my email I need a dot "." for my email-name and the ".com" ending. There is a character that appears like this, but sits on the middle between characters not on the ground. Any ideas?

Hi all,
Ive read all the posts from over 50 sites (XDA and others) and can still not get the BAS to work on my HTC HD2 Leo.
Ive got it to install, Both BBC and BAS.
I have a BES account with my company.
I can get to the Register screen and nothing happens, says message sent but i can go no further.
Ive tried the hack for Raphael, done all the other reg tweeks.
Can someone please provide a simple answer for geting BAS to run, Register, do enterprise activation, sync with my company email, allow internet use etc.
I hate the blackberry they use, dont know why they use it.
I would very much love for someone to provide a solution, i only have 1 week left on my valid activation code. I need my HD2.
Please, please help.
ive spent countless hours and i am actually loosing sleep over the issue.

I took a pad and resized it with paint xD, and worked fine... here is if u want it

Now i was trying to apply a vpad to play in landscape... like the one used in FpseCE ... but no time for trying on this days.
If someone tryied that and worked please tell me
