[Q] odex or deodex?

Hey,
I recently installed this rom:

on my desire, and i need to know if it's based on odex or deodex, in order to install my language fixes.

I clicked your link, hit command f, typed odex and what did I get?
Deodexed.

Need some sec files for note 2

I was experimenting with some root apps and accidently deleted my backup for those root apps. If somebody could upload those files than I will be very thankful as its gonna save me a full wipe.
The files needed are for xdll4 firmware as detailed in the pic attached.
Older firmware files didn't work.
The files are located in system/apps
1. Seccontacts.apk
2. Seccontacts.odex
3. Seccontactsprovider.apk
4. Seccontactsprovider.odex
5. Secphone.apk
6. Secphone.odex
7. Secemail.apk (not sure abt this name , its the default sammy emaul client 4.0)
8. Secemail.odex
Plz try to mention your firmware if you are posting these files. Thanx for the help

As a bit of help, you should be able to dl any rom image to a computer and explode it to its various parts. From there you can use various tools to expand any img files. Linux is easy, and if you're on windows I recommend using cygwin. There are many how-tos on the net to help with this process.

I am already trying to download the stock rom from samfirmware and its a non-resumable hotfile link. My internet connection is terrible as it takes 6 hours to download the rom.
So I expected to ask for help if I could resolve my problem without downloading the rom.

Oh man that's awful. Guessing you're still on stock or don't have the rom you flashed with.
I'll try and help you in awhile when I'm home and see if I can't post some of those for you if you don't already have progress

I am still running on stock indian rom but I used jellybam while ago and I wanted to mod some new features on stock rom so I restored my cwm stock backup and got crashed my pc hdd and lost all the data.

[Q] Viper 2.0 problem

i have some issues with viper 2.0 rom.
- always make full wipe. but sometimes doesn't work all apk's in system/app, and sometimes doesn't work sound enchanments (try all things to solve sometimes work-sometimes not)
- semcgenericuxp.apk still cant instaled.(when im tick always show install but nothing any effect) (the rom never install. )
- can't use any flashable mod. (always get bootloop)
- i still can't find any other systemui.apk if work with 2.0 (not the simple and 4.2 too)<- in 1.1 work so idk what happened.
that's what i found ... already try all method (wipe, copy ...etc)
ps.:maybe if possible we need pre cwm'd bcz this save many our time.

Or reflash rom may be a bad flash. Btw this thing you could post in viper rom thread so the dev could help you. Why did u make a thread for it? Help keep xda clean

many timed reflash - always make clean install. that's why i wrote.
can't post about rules. only who have 10+ post can write in dev forum. + can't write pm jerrytan93 so thats why i make a tread

[Q] flip to mute - flashable mod?

hi.
i searched the gio section of the xda forum for a flashable package via CWM and i have not found any. sure, there are apps on the market, but i need it as a 'buid-in function'. i am currently using [2.3.6]M'rage Rom v1.5.
can anyone tell me if there is such a mod and direct me to the download link?

first, sorry for my english and if my question is a noob one
if i understood your question: for example, if someone calls me, i want to be able to mute my ringtone by flipping the phone with it's 'face' down. there are a lot of apps on the play store that do that and also stock JB 4.1 comes with that option, integrated in the "settings menu".
what i would like to know is if there is a flashable zip made by someone here, for CM7 or gingerbread based roms. and by flashable zip, i mean the same way you would flash a kernel or keyboard, or etc via Recovery.

[REQUEST] Note 2 Stock Videoplayer

Hey guys!
I flashed Ditto Note for N7105 this morning. After some tweaking I got it the way I want it, with a nice Accuweatherport and so on. For me it´s bugfree

However... in this ROM the Videoplayer give a FC when starting from the drawer. Starting a video from the Videowidget or any kind of File-explorer it plays the video just fine... but not from the app itself.
I have posted it as a bug in the OT but it´s kind of dead.
So... can someone please post either the 4.3 stock videoapp or a flashable zip, if there´s more than one file that I need to get it to work.

I know it´s wrong to bump a thread... But I really need this ASAP as I don´t have much bandwith, this due to a servicejob beeing done by my ISP in the neighbourhood.

I'm running dn3 on the n7105, this is the second time I've heard this issue although it's never affected me. Your welcome to try mine, it's themed but works for me.
