Incredible 2 in brazil - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Anyone knows a good sense 4 ROM that will run on Brazilian GSM? I've being trying ViperInc, but it just won't find the network

I've been to Brazil at least 4 times with my dinc2 and can only get reliable data on stock. Last time, about 2 weeks ago, I had it working on dkstunnna's global cm9 for a hot second, and then it wouldn't come back no matter what I did.
I've tried various GB and ICS roms. Not even cm7 would work. I've used TIM and Claro, configured all the APNs and still could only get service/data working on stock.
Have you configured the APNs in Viper?

Sense 4? Viper is your only Sense 4 choice. If it doesn't work, you are SOL.

Anyone running this ROM? Thoughts? Any different than Synergy or Alliance?

I'm running it and the only thing that has annoyed me about this is my lack of service now. The ROM itself is awesome, and my favorite out to date, Sense 2.1 is awesome!
I need to figure out how to update the radio, I lost service at my house, goes in and out between roaming which it never did, and even in NYC which I have full bars everywhere it's downt o 2 or 3.

I've actually had the same problem recently. Namely in the last two days. I see that you're running a Sense 3.5 ROM (as do I). Is it just an overclocked 3.5 or is there a specific 3.5?
Sorry for late reply I'm at mcdonalds using there WiFi, but yes sense 3.5 for cdma/marvelc, It is overclocked, I tried many roms but still nothing, I called virgin mobile daily to see what was going on and they said they will send me a new phone at no extra charge, they said that the part in my phone that connects to the 3g service probaly went bad in my phone, but I thought its a network issue rather then my phone, but at least I get a new phone

Hmm... okay. Personally, I found it to be Sense 3.5.
I think my issue was more Sense 3.5-related as when I decided to flash CM7 my data began working again, however I am having some SMS issues. If I can't fix it on CM7, I'll try Sense 2.1 or a VM stock. If it doesn't work then I'll contact VM and see what they say.

Awesome! I will. I get a 404 error and I can't find it on Goo.im anywhere, so I'll wait until it re-appears! Thanks for the suggestion!

Request info for a stable cricket rom with a good battery life.

I am sorry if this has already been answered but I have searched and have not been able to answer my question. I am trying to update my girlfriends htc EVO with a stable cricket rom with decent battery life. The one she has now kills her battery in about 5 hours. The phone is rooted, and currently has a cricket rom installed. Thanks for any help.

Come on guys, nobody has suggestion for a rom. Or does anyone know where I can go and see if somebody else knows. Thanks again.

Cricket rom?
Yes, I need to find a cricket rom to use with the EVO. There have been some before I need to find a new one with decent battery life

You'd be better off finding a cricket rom then flashing a different kernel, experimenting with some build.prop tweaks, underclocking or undervolting with vipermod.
Yeah, if I knew how to do all that it would be cool but I don't. I think I just need to find another forum that has more experience with cricket stuff. Thanks to everyone though.

If you can flash a Rom, you can make the changes the previous poster suggested. At some point, you will need to go beyond just flashing and actually tweaking. Do yourself the favor and do some reading.

hey if your talking for the HTC EVO 4G, In my experience and opinion this would be myn 2.2 or nitrous rom these both are great roms for Cricket! as far as kernals a htc 17 or 18 or toastmod is fine..my phone is currently running.. nitrous v1.4.7 and im using nitrousv0.3-sbc kernal ..yeah i know SBC blah blah blah but i havent had any issues!
MikG.
I gave up development of my own rom Jiminy tuned for cricket about a year ago and have been using MikG since. It works great.
yeah I've had my evo OG 4 bout 3 months. Flashed it to cricket the day after I got it. I've used all the ICS ROMS and can vouche that they do work even on cricket. "Flashing" a ROM doesnt really effect the carrier settings that are "flashed" to the phone. But do make a nandroid backup and keep a sense ROM that has EPST on your SD card. You will know it has EPST on it if you dial ##3424# . You might need this later if you have to change any settings or bring your phone in to get reflashed or whatever.

[Q] Why is getting MMS to work so hard (Sense ROM or not)

I need some serious help. I have been using AOKP and decided I want to go back to Sense, but have all the nice custom ROM features (shared internet for example).
I have tried all kinds of ROMs. Either sense or not. I can not get MMS to work. Try these converters and specific zips saying they will fix it.
At this point IDC if its ICS or JB, just want my MMS back.
What ROMs do you recommend for this issue?
Thank you in advance.
Sure. Your on VM? I have fully working MMS on ported roms and other roms using my convertersm

[Q] Dropped Calls

Hi guys,
Been having my galaxy nexus s for over a year now, never had issues with dropped calls until now. I am currently running Android 4.2.2 on cyanogen 10.1-RC2. I have had various ROMS before and any calls longer than 30 min get dropped for no reason. I am in a full fledged 4G area, not on wifi. I could be at home, or in a parking lot, it doesn't matter, my calls get dropped. I was talking to a friend in Germany and for the 2 hours we talked total, call was dropped 4x. Could it be that I dont have the right "radio" ? I have swapped out my SIM card thinking that could be it, but no go. I also have switched kernels and nothing. Im getting stuck here Any other suggestions? I'm so frustrated that I'm using my old blackberry now lol. I know pretty bad.
Thanks guys,
Stephani
Sounds like it could be radios. Maybe hardware related. Try a different ROM also see if that fixes your issue

This is the 3rd rom, thinking cyanogen would fix the problem because its stable and I've never had issues before. Before cyanogen, it was AOKP, before AOKP it was rasbelly before that paranoid android.

Ya then I would say flash different radios. If that don't fix it, then u might have a hardware issue.

What's a Galaxy Nexus S? Lol.
Just kidding, update your radios.

I meant a gnex ; p well I returned to stock locked the bootloader and unrooted. Guess what? Its still dropping calls should i downgrade to 4.2.1 and see if that fixes the issue? If not them I guess its the hardware :/
