I believe it is both. I'm running on G in my house and have on B also.

You need an app that tells you the connection speed. Currently i use systempanel app. If your connection is above 11M then clrealy you are on G.
Connection speed is dependant on range / signal stregth and interference, but B/G is on by deflaut
I'm wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem, where the G Pro cannot connect to a hidden Wifi network that uses WPA security? I have an E980 on the stock AT&T ROM as well as having tried it on the Telcel ROM, and both have this problem. I add the hidden SSID manually, it tries to connect, but then gives back an authentication error. This is a workplace router, so I can't tamper with the settings, but everybody around me with iPhones and Samsung Galaxies have had no problems connecting to the router. My own iPod Touch and laptop also have no issues, it's just this G Pro that can't do it. My workplace was originally using hidden WEP, and the G Pro had no issues with that...but then they recently switched to hidden WPA.
I'm on AT&T's measly 300MB data plan sadly, so much as I had planned to keep this phone for a while, this is a serious enough issue to make me want to switch phones already.

and when I sit with my dsl Model my LG Optimus G F180k shows only 2 or 3 signals

Is it possible to force 5Ghz on the D855 when serving as a mobile hotspot ? I see it's possible on other models such as the T-Mobile (not allowed to post a link but its the first link if you google "lg g3 hotspot tmobile" ) however mine (D855 European) has no such option and the hotspot is only created as 2.4Ghz. I'm running Cloudy G3 and even tried restoring to stock rom to see if it was there, but still no option. Does the D855 just have a different wifi chipset or something? It can do 5Ghz receiving in Wifi mode, but is it not possible when working as a hotspot ? If it's not the chipset that is the issue are there any mods or tweaks which can set it to 5Ghz ?
