[MOD]Bat-Percent,Ext-power,overscroll glow,CRT and 5lockscreens for JPJV6

This is a mod for deodexed JPJV6 roms only.
it will add battery percentage,overscroll glow,CRT effect and Extended power menu to your deodexed rom.
I wish this MOD will open the door to Gingerbread Farsi/arabic custom roms.
Credits:

untermensch for providing the tutorial on extended power menu
Installation:
copy the file into your SDcard and install via recovery (both cwm2 and cwm3 compatible files provided)

There is a small bug in puzzle lock which has some misarrangement in puzzle in case of incoming messages or missed calls. wish you forgive me
Source files:
the source files have been attached. If you want to complete the MOD you may add the arabic/urdu values for framework-res.apk and settings.apk
I already add farsi string values for reboot,recovery,download in framework-res and also lockscreen string values in settings.apk. (sorry I can not speak arabic or urdu)
There is also one small bug in farsi values which I have edit

i.e after I modded some files I lost the overscroll glow,, while its files are still there but not showing,, and when I tried to scroll menu down it goes with me all the way !

you can go to ramad thread over here there is a jpjv6 deodexed and rooted rom which you have to download and flash via Odin (there is also a cwm rom but I always prefer odin)

you can deodex your rom by yourself if you like. you need xultimate tool. you may find it over here

I attached the source file for overscroll glow but this one is for jvb I took it from dhiro you may need to change the resource id's if neccessary

Well u can deodex the apk and .jars then mod them and then odex them back.
Then u can flash it on stock odex.

its heavily moded theme, for 10 screenlock you need
framework.jar
android.policy.jar
framework-res.apk
but if u take this 3 filefrom this Theme it didnt work
you have to use full them and if u do so u lose stock appreance and looks

Issue with 10 screenlock and JVT is too much conflicts and errors, i try for jkay 9 screen lock and same time 10 screen from other people also but every time i face conflicts and for this i flash more then 100 times my sgs and at last i finalize that i have to wait for clean source compatable with JVT.

So, there is no mod with 10 lockscreen

Flash Dynamic III JVT Rom
it contains the 10 lockscreens and more , fast and stable!
if you want samsung look, just flash a TW4 launcher.

10 lockscreen style not 10 slider on AOSP lockscreen xD. Like MIUI's lockscreen, glass, AOSP, 4 tab v.v...

I see lots of posts for ROMs or packages with it, but I want the BASE Mod for this so I can add it to my own custom ROM.
Either files for JVT or guide would be great.

Ok, get a theme/rom with the mods u like, lets say u find a jvt one, get that, and stock jvt, decompile the apks and decompile the classes.dex from jars and use beyoundcompare3, compare what is the diff, then add the diff/mod to the stock and then u have it.

If that's all that needs to be done it doesn't sound too complicated. A little bit of work yes but not impossible.
However the deodexed JVT files would be nice

just a question....why would one need 10(!) lock screens? u use only one..

[Mod] Sliding Window Effect !!

I did find new effect, I don't know if it is already known to others but I did search about it and find nothing.
Anyhow, I named it "Sliding Window Effect"

How to do this Mod:
Decompile SystemUI.apk
Open SystemUI\res\values\bools.xml
Search for
Code:
<bool name="config_useCaptureView">false</bool>
Change it to
Code:
<bool name="config_useCaptureView">true</bool>
Now Compile it and enjoy this effect
BTW this Mod will be added to my Kitchen in the next ver.

i agree.i haven't used thi mod but gave 5 stars.coz it's something different and looks nice.

no matter how much i like this mod, the important thing is that Gangs_kid shared a nu mod so 5 stars!

Been using this for a while but haven;t included it in my rom since it breaks manual brightness adjustment. I'm in the process of making a toggle for it.

There are many threads explaining how to decompile on the forum also there is my Kitchen which will decompile and compile for you

Look what I did is
Extract systemUI.apk frim my phone
decompile it by using your kitchen
edit some png image
compile it
and copy it to my system is it ok ?
OMG MY My notification bar is just Gooooone *_*

Think your missing the signature of the apk, best to copy the classes.dex, reaources.arsc and the res folder over from the compiled apk to the original SystemUI.apk that you have

Do it again but before starting you need to install framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk Plz write your future issues to the kitchen thread so that others will benefit from the answers.

[REQ] Need systemui.odex file for SXS

Hello, I own a Xperia s with stock .45 firmware rooted ODEXED I tried to install jelly bean systemui mod for status bar.
I pushed systemui.apk from the mod's zip to the system/app directory with correct permissions. Also i deleted the systemui.odex file fruition the directory. When i rebooted the device, status bar disappeared and also the overall behavior is weird. I had the backup of systemui.apk so i replaced it back. Still the status bar didn't appeared and also the overall behavior is weird. But now i don't have the systemui.odex file. I don't want to flash the rom again.
So if anybody can help me, please provide me the systemui.odex file. Or any other solution for the problem...

Take file from the ROM you talking about. So you don't have to install the ROM again.

Can Someone please post a specific tutorial on how to put the torch on Lockscreen on Stock JB Roms. I know there is a lot of roms/mods comes with this feature but will be great if there is a tutorial on how to do it, maybe I can port this to my stock odex rom.

Maybe try Didact74's Tutorial? I was going to have a look at doing that myself shortly to my stock odexed XWLSD rom this weekend if I get some time. Just keep in mind that this is for implementing a toggle as well so you can turn it on and off as you like. You would probably need to skip the SecSettings section and just look at the android.policy section.
I hope this helps you. If you like I can let you know how I go after I try it to say whether it worked or not?

I tried that method but the android.policy.jar editing method won't match with Galaxy S2's jar file. The things he told to change don't simply exist in galaxy s2's android.policy files.
