Updated to official 4.3 rom?

Hi,
I plugged my S4 to Samsung Kies the other day and it said there is a new firmware (4.3) and gave me a list of new stuff on the rom, once I updated I went into my device info and found out that it still remained on 4.2.2 .
Can someone please explain or advice why I can't update to 4.3?

depends which model you have.

And there is your problem. If you're rooted you won't be able to get an official update. So go to the i9505 thread and get a rom from there

But I'm not rooted tho. According to various blogs and information online I should be able update my GT-i9505 to the official 4.3

This is my current baseband version. Is it OK to flash oreo builds with this baseband?
Don't want to experience any issues of wifi or volte due to baseband.

There is an update available for your baseband, although users have reported successful flashing with your baseband version too, without any bugs. So you can try your luck.

thanks. your phone isc the SCV38KDU1BSI1 and i honestly dont know anything about that model and google wasnt much help. Im not familiar enough with the folks on here with enough knowledge to help out. Hopefully someone sees this thread and your baseband version who has a clue. Sorry bro
