Hey guys, just a quick question. AOSP development is taking off on the Intl GNote 2 and our device still has no AOSP at the moment. My question is, would you guys be willing to help get a quality dev a device so they can work on AOSP development for us? Let me know please

Judging by your post count, you should know better than to start a thread asking a question in the development section. Here ya go:

my bad and found the answer looks like sense4all is already working on it.
Mods feel free to delete this thread.
Anyone thinking of starting work on porting over CM 10 for the international Galaxy Note II to ours?

Don't feel bad, I will be answering the same question 2 posts from now. Thanks for reading.
Just for your info this does not belong in development and it gets asked all the time please search and you will find .... We are not going to port it .... It will be source built

I don't want moose to be lair, so it CM10 coming or not, LOL. This is the two posts later, LOL.
I'm allergic to the search button and engines. And yes, I'm just being facetious.
Moved to Q&A.
Please remember that development forums are only for development, not questions.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Howdy all! I been running Chameleon OS on my Galaxy Nexus and my One S for a long time now and have yet to see a thread for it here, maybe the ChaOS team needs a maintainer for it? It is a great AOSP ROM with MIUI like theme enigine, really neat. Maybe someone with skills a little beyond porting can contact them and see about taking over for the Galaxy Nexus and get it posted? I think you all will really like this ROM it is still very young but they have true nightly's so it gets better and better every day! :good: (I hope it is ok I posted this here, if not oh well this ROM needs more love!)

No I'm not blind that isn't an official development thread that is just someone posting like me, I wasn't looking for that.
I may have jumped the gun but I was simply saying when I had spoke to them they said they need a maintainer for XDA.

Hi folks, I have a flamming subject today. I am the onlyone would would cut a finger to have a dualboot kernel like on the Internationnal version? I mean why are we the only device to not have this ? Rarz got one, S3 4 core got one, HTC one too and now they are planning the S4. I hate juggling between backups.
If it is money it need i'm ready to give some via paypal, and I dont think I'll be the only one that will support that developpment. Imagine switching with one click from AOSP latest CM to a touchwiz based ROM.
I dont want to be burried because of this post but seriously this would be awesome.

Hell I'd give my left ball for one lol. No time or motivation to learn to code for it (I wanna be spoon fed lol jk). But you might want to edit the title to say its a request or something to keep the bashers away as there are some hardcores on here (and the occasional just plain D#%KS haha) who will berate this post and I am sure its title.

I didn't even realize that this was the t999 was the only version that didn't have a dualboot kernel
I remember I wanted this ability super bad about a year ago but figured the devs would eventually get around to it. So disappointed that this just never happened as I'm constantly forced to choose an OK ROM over a great ROM due to 1 or 2 important (though often rarely used) features. If I could dualboot I would benefit from using a great ROM (AOSP based) as my daily driver and switch, only when necessary, to take advantage of modified/stock benefits like better driver support for video recording. A "feature" I only really need when on vacation or at an event.
I'm not sure how dualbooting works exactly. Is this a kernel feature, as everyone seems to be suggesting, and wouldn't that force us to use 1 and only 1 kernel for all our ROMs?
I was just curious if anyone knows why there are no CyanFox threads in the Android Devel Forum for our T-Mo Note II, nor any thread in the Original Android Devel Forum for our T-Mo Note II.
In going to the CyanFox website, it seems that our device (t0ltetmo) is specifically supported on this ROM that is currently running 4.4.2? Should this question be asked in those other development forums? Thank you.
I would sure like to know what this community thinks. The Rom looks pretty intriguing to me. Thanks to all.
Thanks for telling us about this rom. I'm running it now. Very smooth and stable.

there's a lot of ROMs that aren't on XDA.
