I froze chameleon and I am having no negative effects. Any one know what chameleon does. Any insight would be appreciated.

Anyone lately getting spam text messages? I've been getting some that tell me to go online or reply to subscribe. Without me doing anything, I immediately get another confirming my subscription. This is driving me nuts. I think it might be an app but I have not installed/bought anything new in a couple of days. The only coincidence is that it started when I flashed ginger snap. I'm not saying that it is causing it but i'm out of ideas.
Anyone else experiencing this?

its definitely coming from a app. more than likely a free music downloader or something like that. they are paying for that free stuff somehow...lol
I never trust free stuff. The last apps I installed were toki Tori and tiny tower. But I installed those last week. I just started getting these spam messages yesterday.

Yea i was getting them from mp3 downloader tgey also have one that supposedly has a virus.....weird stuff
Si. I got it too... Even there was an icon apps like the market one, by confusion I hit it and took me using the browser to a diff apps site. BTW its asked you for you phone number. So watch out.... Spammers are near

So the famous play store just did some maintenance and the servers were down for about ten minutes. I signed back in and now I have to re-pay for all my apps. Anyone else confirm this?
It happened yesterday just wait till they fix things you don't have to re-pay for all your apps again. It will fix itself. I thought the same thing yesterday.

Ya there's all kinds of issues going with play. Seems like ever since they converted from market to play things have not gone so well. Good news is they know about problems and trying to fix them.

Got this in a drippler update today. It claims to be a sgs III rom ported to the sgs II. I have no idea if it works but looked interesting. Anyone else see this or give it a try?

Working on porting it... it's just so damn big and I"m hitting invisible walls...
I'm trying to leave as much intact as possible but after stripping it down it's still a 750mB system...
Edit: Trying to port SGS3, not S2 mockup.
I don't know if this is a sprint network problem or what but ever since the newest PRL update in my area I am getting doubles and triples of texts from my contacts and sometimes not getting them at all until maybe 2 hours later which is very inconvenient I must say. Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions? I've called sprint about it but all they say is they will refresh my signal which doesn't help...

are you getting that today? I have this problem every few days. Taking the battery out and restarting the phone doesn't always fix the problem

im a newbie here and i just want to ask something. i am a rogers subscriber and i own a sgs3. i flashed a at&t rom and had no issues at all until i opened my contacts and suddenly theres this small prompt from att that is like trying to connect to att network. anybody experiencing the same? how did u get rid of it?

I'd be surprised if there is a way to get rid of it. You may just have to use a third party contact manager if you want to stick with this ROM.

Happened a few times for me when I was using CSROM. Not sure, but I think I just cancel it enough times that it never prompts me again. Forgot...

i actually did nothing in particular, i just cancelled it and i think after almost 10 cancels, it dissappeared and never bugged me again.
