Gingerbread has native screen capture, not sure where it's located though. Granted, seening as how you gave Gingerbread on a G2, you are rooted (GB hasn't been released to the G2 yet) so just download ShootMe

How did you get gb without root? I have the same thing and I'm rooted

I flashed PC10IMG through bootloader which was the official one from T-Mobile. I know they made one which is rooted, But I didn't flash that one because I wasn't originally rooted. But yeah I have GB 2.3.3 with no root.

io gnex same tool kit instructions?

Hi so I have the gnex that was given out at the Google io and it has been updated to jelly bean
I want to unlock boot loader and root and flash using the gnex tool kit.
Is it the same process as if I were to do it to my regular gnex?

IT. DOESN'T. MATTER. It gets rooted the exact same way. Everything is the same.

I just got a certified like new replacement due to my horrible reception and the reception on the new one is much better so im going to stay stock on it for the time being until JB is fully released by Verizon.
Because I'm thinking of just chilling with stock ICS too.

x2. Curious as well.
Stock JB 4.1.1 OTA'ed from ICS, love it, still haven't found a reason to do anything beyond flashing CWM and rooting!
Tried others, back to stock rooted....perfect the way it is!

Stock Ics, unlocked and rooted. Waiting for Verizon to release jellybean so I can manually update my nexus.
I'm running stock with one change. Custom soft keys.

Can anyone confirm root after t-mobile update??

Hesitant to flash back to stock to update, anyone know if they can use that galaxy s3 root toolkit after the new update
Just flash the already rooted rom. Just did a few phones with no problem.

It's safe to flash and root like normal. I just received my phone and it had a sticker on it that said updated. I didn't incur any problems.
