UPDATE: I have now received the case and I'm kind of meh on it. My biggest problem is that my hands are simply too large to touch type effectively on such a small case. Also cannot charge while typing.
I think there are probably better options.
thanks for the link!

As an American in the UK, I can say I miss the US market. . . Such a pain if you're not in the Service to get US goods delivered over here.

Like it from images.. few questions
- can u seperate keybord from tablet case, without taking tablet off cover?
- can u charge the tablet when typing?
- can u fold the keyboard backwards and just use tablet?
- how heavy is the case with keyboard?
Can u upload more pics, please.
Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk
Almost, but not quite. Don't want it covered all around. Looked good until I saw that. I want to be able to pop my tab out when I don't want the keyboard. Too bad. Looks good, though.
I have a feeling that it would add too much weight, I noticed a big difference using the official book cover case. As a keyboard combo though, it does look pretty decent.
That looks great

Just go to the webpage and read the ad, you'll know as much as I do.
You can probably charge it but the back will be lifted up a bit. As far as folding over I'm sure you can. Comsidering it has a keyboard not that thick.

I bought a Noreve case that is really nice, but was surprised how much weight it adds. Super for table use, but when I used it in my lap it wasn't so great. One good laugh and my tablet went flying.

Well It has a keyboard, of course it adds weight. You just need to decide if you want a keyboard.

The case seems descent but dumb? Here is it physically attached to the note? I.got a case on my note that hides the rf blaster this one hides it? And how is the key response? By the way a mouse recommendation?

Just received this keyboard.
Its OK but the tablet doesn't fit a snugly as I'd like and I find my hands are just too big to type efficiently on such a small keyboard. It rather just thumb type.
One other problem. You have to use the Samsung Keyboard setting with it which has pretty terrible autocorrect.
Keyboard works just fine. Just too small for me.

Hello everyone,
Its me again, I have just ordered a keyboard called Compact Bluetooth Keyboard from chinavasion. It is the first keyboard I have ever bought for a Smartphone. One of the reasons was since the size of the galaxy S2 is so compact, it would be possible to attach an external keyboard with it using a swivel, or sliding mechanism.
Now I need feedback from all of you guys and would like you to come up with every possible alternative that can be opted for turning our Galaxy SII into a sliding keyboard. I did come across range of other Keypads, but they are all geared towards the Iphone. So in vain I would like you guys to suggest me if it is possible to attach an external keypad on it.
PS: I would like to emphasis on any user who is from China or any other asian countries where there is a lump market for this keyboard, if you see upon or know any manufacturer who makes a similar or modified device to post thier links here.
Anyways here is the link to the keypad i bought ::::::::::

+1 on this. Start searching for that.

Well I am interested in getting something like a swivel that j can connect between the phone and the keyboard. Thus making it somewhat rotatory mechanism.

I'm interested... Compact bluetooth keyboards are handy especially if they are cheap and work well. Add to this the MHL cable and bluetooth mouse gets you an emergency presentation kit.

yah i know ;D ETA is 12days, so hold on to your horses video and review soon.
has any of you guys found any docks or extension plugs to hold the phone and the keyboard together ?
Exactly the type of KB I am after, so I'll be waiting for the review .
As for mounting it to the phone I would have thought that you could do something with a hard case, some thin metal strips and epoxy glue would give you a mounting system for typing on...
I cant wait to find out how much battery power this thing uses.

I can't imagine mounting it to be pragmatic what so ever. Definatily possibl with fibreglass or polyurithane(sp?) Maybe he knows an automotive bodyman who can help him out.
I suppose battery life is the same as regular bluetooth connection right? And the device itself should last a while. Pretty neat gadget. I could really see myself using it on a tablet. If only I had one

Anyone know of any backplates for the Galaxy Nexus, besides the laser etched ones? I'm getting sort of sick of the bumpy back that comes with it, especially after seeing my friend's brushed aluminum backplate for his GS3.
Any love for the G-Nex!?
Aluminum backplates cut out gps and wifi signal from what I've heard so I wouldn't recommend it. They're easily available on eBay.

Try taking it off and putting it back on. Start by inserting the bottom part first, then run your fingers up the sides to snap in the rest of the cover. Make your way to the top until all is snapped in.
I also have issues with the back plate. The lower left corner won't fit in! But the plastic didn't brake there, so I'm not sure if I need to replace it or not. Someone knows this problem?

I thought I was the only one with a defective back plate problem.
In addition to my brand new GN2 I have a GN10.1. Since I picked up my GN2 yesterday I havent touched my 10.1.
Of course the 10.1 is better for taking notes based upon the sheer size, I find myself getting better at writing on the GN2. Seemed so tiny at first but not so much anymore. I might eventually get pretty quick at it. Also never liked swype before but it is so accurate doing spell checking on this that it is growing on me. Wish the typing spell checking worked as well.
So we will see. If I keep getting better at this I may end up selling the 10.1.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
I don't own a tablet and I don't think I will for the time being. My GN2 is enough. Besides it sucks to carry multiple devices around. One device that can do most of what I need is good enough to carry around.
I have a galaxy tab 10.1 that I prefer to use at home over the note 2. But that's exactly where it stays, right at home. I don't think there's a reason to carry both outside of the house. I also don't think that the 5.5 inch screen is big enough for me to completely ditch the 10.1

After using the GN2 for a few days I think I will be keeping my 10.1. The problem with using something like the GN2 to take notes is that besides it being small, you really have to hold it with 2 hands to write on it. On the 10.1 it just sits there and you write on it.
So yeah i think the GN2 makes a nice portable handwriting accessory but it is not a full 10.1 replacement.

what's funny is the iPad has a better GPU and plays games better because the game itself are designed for that resolution regardless that it's dual core. the rear view camera also has really good decent volume for audio quality and video quality is well. They said the nexus 7 was great for an all around tablet. however the iPad was better when It came to watching movies and playing games.

Was looking for a way to write more comfortably on my GN2 and it occurred to me to try my old mousepad that has a raised wrist pad. That way I could elevate my palm above the Note 2 and make my hand more comfortable.
Works amazingly well. I can write neater and my hand doesn't cramp up. Just place your GN2 on the mouse area. Here is the pad I am using. Try it out.

^^ Mine's on the way also. What's your impression so far?
It has a thin feels like I have nothing on my phone at all.. It does how ever make the power button really sensitive to touch.. I like the feel of it
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
Nice. Can't wait to get mine. Although I might be getting screwed over by the site I ordered from (it's been a week since they "shipped" it but the tracking number is still invalid)
Got mine in today and liking it very much. It feels like it adds maybe about an extra 0.5 - 1 mm vs the Diztronic. Its definitely thicker than the Diztronic but not by much. In exchange for that slight extra thickness, it feels like it would absorb a drop better than the Diztronic and the lip around the edge of the screen is also a little thicker. The buttons are also easier to press with the Incipio vs the Diztronic and the headphone cutout is a little larger also. I also prefer the soft touch paint coating of the Incipio. Both are great cases but I think the slightly better protection the Incipio offers over the Diztronic will make it the case I use on a daily basis.
Update: case is great but super sensitive around the power button I do like it tho phone feels better in hand than with generic eBay case

Hmm... just noticed something, I wonder why the back camera hole is "AT&T" style...

Yeah I bought one and it slightly covers the lens, it's not quite cut for the LS970 version around the camera. I am decidling if I should send it back and get an Otterbox instead.

I just bought the otter box case and it's a much better fit than the incipio case think I'm going to sell my incipio case

I am starting to think it might be a design/manufacturing error on incipio's part. Maybe it's supposed to be for AT&T version of the phone but they use the Sprint version dimension instead, or vise versa. That would explain why it's still not showing up on incipio's website.
Anyway kratos313 how's the otterbox compare to the incipio when it comes to thickness & size?
I was wondering if anybody had an experience with trekcovers from Amazon. Here's the one I'm thinking about oredering http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GXKHV58/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?ref_=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_YyhXsb13Q1PAK there's no reviews so I wanted to see if they are legit

Would be pretty awesome to have. It's not too too expensive. Maybe worth a shot? Check the seller's feedback.

That looks awesome! I hope someone get's their hands on it to do a review.
I'm not a fan of TPU cases, but I'd give it a shot for this one:
If you're gonna go retro, you gotta go Generation 1!

They don't ship to Canada though.
I don't really like that they're not using real case pictures, but renders that are pretty crappy.

Yeah I'm always hesitant when there's no real pictures. But it's a case seller correct? Not just a random person.

Yeah they appear to be a case seller. Don't know anything about them though. Showing pictures of the real cases would at least make things a bit better.
iTALKonline are also a case seller on Amazon, and I've had nothing but garbage product the two times I got stuff from them. I ordered a few cases from them for my parents older Xperia Ts. The cases didn't fit at all, the buttons were covered by the front lip, so you couldn't even use the phones... Never buy from them!
Anyway, even if they are a case seller, who knows if they're any good. I like those retro Nintendo designs though.
those cutouts are throwing me off. can't tell what kind of protection it'll provide.

These types of cases are not for protection from anything. The most it'll protect is from scratches. It's just to kee your nexus 5 from getting scuffed up and look neat at the same time.
These are pretty sweet, but I'm really put off by the fact that there are so few reviews of their other cases. Maybe once my SAND starts showing some age I'll try one of these. The price at least is pretty reasonable

Guys don't even waste your money. This case is crap. Its pretty much a plain white case with the gameboy printed on it. I thought it would be one of them nice rubber cases for the iPhone but trust me its not. I'm in the process of getting a refund...yeah its that bad.
